"Are you okay, as Insaw what happened on the morning news. Good thing my mom and uncle don't know you're Raccoon Girl or they'd flip. What did your folks and Rocket say when you and Branchie got gack." Casey heard Crystal asking. It was early afternoon so Casey was awake but had helped Branchie pack for Groot summer camp so they were having ice cream as it was a hot summer day. "Papa Marshmallow did the owie check like when I fall off my skateboard but parts really hurt like my paw. My mom made me promise to not do superheroics until I go to camp." Casey told her making her surprised she promised this.
"Like I told Rockie, at least my parents are still letting me go to camp." she told Crystal making the magenta-furred female kit finishing her cone seeing Rocket there checking on them relieved they were just hanging out, his sis had been sticking to the promise she'd made to her parents knowing it was gonna be hard for a few weeks until Avengecoons summer camp knowing Branchiewould be leaving for summer camp in the morning which Casey was okay with making Rocket guess she was being brave for them making him anxious about Casey going to summer camp being around kits she didn't know so would help her with that.
"Yeah relax Rockie I'm on break like I promised." Casey told him seeing Crystal havibg to go hone after a while but hugged her making her take deep-breaths going inside seeing Branchie hug her leg making her smile. "Thanks Branchie." she told her. "I am Groot." she replied to her seeinf Rocket there saying that Groot was coming in the morning to pick Branchie up plus their mom and dad were going out for the night knowing they'd be doing that more when Casey went to camp shaking his head ordering pizza, one of their favourite foods making Rocket Senior chuckle knowing Rocket loved pizza and Casey shared this. "Have fun you three." Roxy told tgen kissing Casey and Rocket's heads leaving for the night.
"Why don't we lay sone Smash Bros and let their big feelungs out." Rocket said seeing Casey nodding grabbing her Amibo figures they used when playing Smash Bros making Branchie grin wanting to play too majing Rocket smile knowing Groot loved video games so they weee having fun and mashing buttons on the joycons of Casey's Switch laughing untik the doorbell rang meaning the pizza was here so Rocket was answering and paying the pizza deluevery guy closing the doir seeing Branchie and Casey enter the kitchen sitting at the table pouring soda into cups. "It's okay if you wanna stay up late you know plus Branchie is going to camo." Rocket told them seeing Casey excited at this, that Rocket let them have soda as much as they wanted.
"I am Groot." Branchie agreed drinking soda and eating pizza but also ice cream making Rocket hope their parents wouldn't flip that he'd given them a major sugar high meaning Branchie would be a cranky sapling in the morning seeing Casey jumping on the couch which was cute relieved she wasn't Raccoon Girl right now.
"Woohoo, this was Rockie's best idea ever." she cheered seeing Branchie agreeing deciding to play indoor Olympics which Rocket gulped about knowing somebody might get hurt and he didn't feel like taking anybody to the emergency room tonight deciding to focus that energy in constructive ways like art and using paint blasters which left some laibt on the wall making Casey hope their folks wouldn't be too mad. "Nope the wall needed some co,our." Rocket reassured her.
That next morning, Branchie woke up tiredly rubbing her eyes with her barky hand seeing Casey still asleep deciding just to let her sleep going to get ready relieving Rocket that he didn't have to wake the female-sapling up seeing Casey still sleeping after the crazy late night fun they'd had so saw Branchie eating pop tarts for breakfast, she didn't have tine for cereal which he git seeing Groot there seeing Branchie hug his leg making Rocket chuckle at that. "Branchie's all ready to go buddy. We had some crazy fun last night so it's why she's sleepy." Rocket told Groot seeing Branchie go upstairs hugging Casey gently before going back downstairs making Rocket get it, she'd said goodbye to Casey so she wouldn't worry, when she wome up and thought the worst had happened.
"Good thinking kiddo, you know Casey very well but I'll tell her when she wakes up." he assured her seeing her disappear with her dad heading to make himself coffee to wake himself up and because the sun wasn't oht yet, it was cool which made him relieved turning the radio on softly sitting at the tabke seeing his parents join him after a bit asking where Branchie was. "Groot showed up to take her to camp on their honewirld." Rocket told them making them get it askihg him if Casey would be okay when she foubd oht seeing Rocket nodding.
"She knows that Branchie was going to camp today and Branchie hugged her goodbye before she and Groit left." Rocket said.
