Chapter 1: meeting railgun
"hey look this chick's from tokiwadi"
Mikoto Misaka just stands there getting very irritated by the thugs
"Hey why don't come home with us. We promise we'll bring you back to your dorm, of course there's no telling how late it'll be" says one of the thugs
Mikoto is almost ready to kill them but then…
"Hey guys thanks for keeping my friend company but we have to go now"A spiky haired boy appears as he grabs Mikoto's hand with his right hand
"Who does this guy think he is doesn't he know I can handle this myself. Guess I'll shock all of them……………
EH!? Why isn't working what kind of ability does this guy have?"wonders Mikoto as she tries to shock all of them
Meanwhile the spiky hair boy is happy that the plan is going smoothly and not being disrupted by his luck
Mikoto decides to go along the plan to figure out what kind of ability does he have. Once they get in the clear the spiky hair boy tells "Sorry but you looked you were in trouble so I couldn't leave you alone"
"What's with your ability"
"Huh?"
"Why wasn't my electricity working when you grabbed my hand what kind of ability do you have" question Mikoto confused but keeping a straight face
"Well I am a level 0. My right arm cancels out any esper ability including my own. So I am the weakest level 0" explains the boy
"Ah ok so may I know your name"
"Sure it's Touma Kamijou"
"I am Mikoto Misaka, the famous railgun"
"So you're railgun the 3rd ranked level 5 esper. Don't you girls have a strict curfew."
"yeah but I have my ways of getting to my dorm"
"ok I gotta go now see you later misaka-san"
"WAIT!"
"?"
"Can I have your number. I wanted to repay you"
"Sure but you don't have to repay me"
"I insist" says Mikoto as she takes out her gekota phone
"Aren't you too old for gekota"
"GEKOTA IS FOR ALL AGES GOT IT?" She shouts as bluish lightning bolts fly out of her
"ok geez sorry, let me put it in"says Touma as he grabs Mikoto's phone and enters his phone number "there you go!" says Touma as he gives Mikoto her phone and says his farewell.
When Mikoto reaches her dorm she decides to text Touma.
Hi this is Mikoto
Hey Misaka-san. What's up
Well I wanted to repay you
So I thought why shouldn't I bring you to the park
Oh no worries it wasn't a big deal you don't have to repay me it was nothing much really.
I insist
Ok sooo see you at 2 pm at the park

Goodnight

Next morning
Mikoto wakes up and gets ready for her meeting with Kamijou
When she arrives at the park and waits for Touma by the vending machine at 2pm
At 3 pm Touma finally arrives
"Hey Misaka-san sorry I am late" Touma says as he pants while grabbing his knees
"I have been waiting for an hour! I was starting to think you won't come" says Mikoto glad that he showed up
"my teacher stopped me for remedial classes" he explains
"Remedial class?"
"yea I am behind in my class becausee I am always getting distracted by things"
"Things like saving girls from thugs at night"
"yeah I guess"
They both have good laugh while talking.
"So what now" questions Mikoto
"I guess we can walk around the park while we talk"
"ok I guess"Mikoto says underwhelmed by the idea "So Touma, what are your plans for this summer"
"I have to take my remedial classes other than that I don't know what about you"
"you know level 5 stuff"
"stuff like?"
"showing my powers and stuff"
"Oh nice"
"You want a drink?"
"Sure!"
"Now let me give you a demo of my power"
Touma looks at her with confusion
Mikoto shocks the vending machine making it give out 2 drinks
"that's handy"exclaims Touma
"Glad you like it, here catch! an orange" Mikoto throws an orange juice
"Thanks" Touma says as he catches the drink
"So you wanna go to the arcade and get some burgers"
"ok"
This is going so well touma thinks to himself glad his luck isn't interfering
But Unfortunately his luck made him lose all the games just when he thought he thought it was his lucky day
"You weren't kidding about your bad luck" the railgun exclaims
"Let's just get the burgers" touma sighs in disappointment
"1000 yens!" Touma stares at the sign in shock
"A thousand yens for burgers isn't that bad" Mikoto consoles him
"easy for you to say but I am not rich" says in depression
Mikoto sighs and says "ok I'll get you one"
"Thanks!"
They both take their burgers and sit on a bench together
"Hey Mikoto you got mustard on your nose"
Mikoto gasps in embarrassment and blushes
"hold on let me get it" Touma takes an handkerchief while mikoto can't help but blush harder
"Thanks"
"No problem"says touma as he sits back down
"this day was amazing. Thank you so much for this Mikoto" Touma says and smile in gratitude
"No problem I said it was for repaying you for your help"
"ok I have to go now"
"ok,bye" says Mikoto as she holds him in a light embrace
this feel so nice Mikoto thinks to herself.
After they both part ways
