With the coffee crisis averted, the Smash Mansion had returned to its usual morning routine. Characters were bustling around, enjoying their breakfast and gearing up for the day's activities. However, not everyone was content. Deep in the jungle-themed section of the mansion, another crisis was brewing.
Donkey Kong woke up in his treehouse, nestled among the towering trees and lush greenery of the mansion's jungle area. Usually, his mornings started with a hearty breakfast of bananas and a strong, aromatic brew of jungle coffee. But today, something was off.
DK reached for his banana stash, only to find it completely empty. "Ooh-ooh! What happened to my bananas?" he grumbled. He then sniffed the air, expecting the familiar smell of jungle coffee. Instead, he smelled nothing.
"Uh-oh," DK muttered. "No bananas, no coffee. This is bad."
Desperate, DK swung down from his treehouse and made his way to the mansion's main kitchen. He found Diddy Kong there, looking equally distressed.
"Diddy, where's all the bananas and coffee?" DK asked, trying to keep his frustration in check.
Diddy shook his head. "I don't know, DK. It looks like someone took all our bananas, and the coffee machine is broken!"
DK let out a frustrated roar, causing the other characters in the kitchen to jump. "Who would do such a thing?"
Determined to find the culprit, DK and Diddy decided to investigate. They started by questioning the other characters.
"Hey, Sonic," DK called out as he spotted the blue hedgehog speeding through the hall. "Have you seen anyone messing with our bananas or the coffee machine?"
Sonic skidded to a stop. "Nope, haven't seen anything. But I'll keep an eye out. It's weird that someone would mess with your stuff."
Next, they approached Isabelle, who was tending to the mansion's garden. "Isabelle, have you seen anything suspicious?" Diddy asked.
Isabelle shook her head, looking concerned. "No, I haven't. But I'll help you look for clues."
As the morning wore on, DK's lack of breakfast started to take its toll. Normally full of energy, he now moved sluggishly, his movements heavy and slow.
"I need my bananas," DK grumbled. "I can't keep this up."
Diddy patted his back. "We'll find them, DK. We just need to keep looking."
After searching high and low, they finally found a clue near the mansion's storage room. Banana peels were scattered around, leading towards the door.
DK's eyes widened. "Someone's been here! Let's check it out."
They pushed open the door to find a large stash of bananas hidden inside. Next to the pile was Bowser, munching on a banana.
"Bowser!" DK roared. "What are you doing with our bananas?"
Bowser looked up, not the least bit concerned. "Oh, these? I found them lying around. Figured they were up for grabs."
DK clenched his fists, trying to stay calm. "Those are our bananas! And did you break our coffee machine too?"
Bowser shrugged. "Maybe. It was in the way."
With their bananas recovered, DK and Diddy returned to the kitchen. They shared the story with the others, who were shocked by Bowser's actions.
"Mamma mia, Bowser, you can't just-a take someone's food," Mario said, shaking his head.
Bowser grumbled but eventually apologized. "Fine, sorry. I won't do it again."
With the help of the mansion's handyman, Snake, they managed to fix the coffee machine. DK finally got his cup of jungle coffee and a bunch of bananas, immediately feeling his energy return.
"Ahh, that's better," DK said, taking a big bite of a banana. "Now I'm ready to take on the day."
