Helga does not know, what she should do.

In this moment Rhonda came down the stairs.

Helga: „Quick! Call an ambulance!"

Rhonda: „Why?"

Helga: „DON'T ASK! DO IT!"

Rhonda: „Okay, okay!"

Helga was riding along with Arnold into the Hospital. There she called his parents.

When Arnold was at the medical inspection, she told his parents, what happened.

Stella: „This Boy must be barred from school!"

Helga: „He bullied and attacked us often in the past!"

Miles: „And the school did nothing against him?"

Helga: „It did not only happen at school. He pushed us everywhere!"

Stella: „And nobody stops him?"

Helga: „Most of the adults don't care or don't believe us!"

Miles: „That have to change! Uhm...Helga?"

Helga: „Yes?"

Miles: „I have a good and a bad news for you!"

Helga: „The bad first, please!"

Miles: „Okay. The administration thinks there is no action required. That means, you have to go back to your parents again!"

Helga was shocked and asked: „And what's the good news then?"

Miles: „I was able to persuade your father, so that you can come to us over the weekends!"

Helga was doubtful, if this is good or bad and said: „Ugh...better than nothing! It is priority now, that Arnold gets well again!"

„How long is he in there?", Stella asked and grabbed Helgas hand.

Helga was a little shocked, but smiled a little at Stella.

Then at long last the doctor came out of the consulting room and asked: „Mister and Misses Shortman?"

„Yes!?", they responded in unison.

Doctor: „We have to do surgery, or he will be petrified for the rest of his life!"

Stella, Miles and Helga: „Oh my god!"

Doctor: „Is that also your child?"

Stella: „She is Arnolds girlfriend."

Doctor: „Okay, listen girl, after the surgery he needs your help. He will probably be able to walk again, but he will have problems doing it. And he may need a cane."

Helga teared up. Her Arnold was ever so agile and now this.

Doctor: „I know it won't be easy, but will you be there for him!?"

Helga: „OF COURSE! I will never abandon him! How dare you?"

Doctor: „Okay...good to hear!"

He looked to Stella and Miled.

Doctor: „And you have to convert something in the house!"

Miles: „Yes, we understand!"

Doctor: „I give you some brochures with all needed infos."

Helga: „Can we see him now?"

Doctor: „Yes! The surgery is tomorrow!"

They entered the room. He was sitting in a wheelchair.

Helga could not stand this sight and wept inconsolably.

Miles and Stella also have been sad, but hold it back, to not make him even more insecure.

„No matter what happens, i will always be there for you!", Helga cried and kissed him on the cheek.

Arnold: „I know, Helga! I love you!"

Helga: „I love you, too!"

Now Stella and Miles could not hold back any longer and let the tears flow.

Stella: „We will pull it off together! You'll be well again soon!"

Helgas sadness turned into rage and yelled: „WOLFGANG WILL PAY FOR IT!"

Arnold: „No! Please stay away from him!"

Helga: „But your injury is HIS fault! I cannot let him get away with it!"

Arnold: „But i don't want, that he hurts you, too!"

Helga sighed. She feels so helpless.

Helga: „Okay, i stay away from him, but indirectly i want to perform revenge!"

Now Arnold sighed.

Arnold: „Whatever you say, Helga!"
