Hey Arnold – Back at home (Chapter 06)

Helga and Arnold were on the way to the bus, when they were attacked by Wolfgang from ambush.

Wolfgang: „Now i finish you BOTH!"

But suddenly he collapsed, because Helga kicked him right between his legs.

For safety's sake she hit him on the head with her backback.

Helga: „That should be enough!"

Arnold: „I hope nobody saw that!"

Helga: „Hey, it was self-defence!"

The Bus already left, so Helga called a taxi.

The Driver wanted to help Wolfgang at first, but then he noticed who it is and said: „Whatever happened, this guy deserves it!"

At the Borderhouse Helga helped Arnold up the stairs.

Then they told Stella about the ambush.

Stella: „That just can't be true! Is he never giving up?"

Arnold: „I'm starting to be afraid to leave the house! He will attack us over and over again!"

Helga: „Hey, i'll protect you!"

Arnold: „Today you were lucky to find the right moment! But it could have happened the other way round. I don't want you to get hurt! I'm more afraid about YOU, as about myself!"

„Ohhhhhh Arnoooooold!", Helga swooned ans hugged him. „I adore you so much, i don't let him hurt you again...or worse!"

Arnold sighed. He knew, he could not hold her back.

Arnold: „Okay Helga, i know you're tough!"

Helga: „Right! And that will never change!"

Arnold: „Even back then i admired you for your bravery."

Helga: „And i admired you for your endurance at helping people."

Arnold: „You have a good endurance, too! You don't give up so easily."

Helga: „How do you know?"

Arnold: „I've noticed more of your action, than you know!"

Helgas face turned red.

„How much?", sie asked terrified.

Arnold: „I will you on occasion."

Helga: „That's unfair!"

Arnold: „Who had secrets for years towards me?!"

Helga turned red again.

Helga: „Okay, you win! You are so lucky, i have fallen for you!"

Arnold: „Whatever you say, Helga!"

Helga: „Right!"

The phone rang and stella hooked up.

„It's for you, Arnold.", she said.

Arnold: „Yes, Arnold here."

His face turned chalk-white.

He dropped the receiver and starred into the room.

Stella: „What's up?"

Helga: „Arnold, are you okay?"

Arnold: „It...it...was Wolfgang! He threatened me, that he knows our adresses and he will visit us!"

Now even Helga turned chalk-white and bagged down to her knees.

Stella was desperate. She now has two shocked kids in the kitchen and did not know, what she can do.

In this moment Miles entered the room.

Miles: „What happend? Did somebody die?"

„Not yet!", Arnold and Helga answered in unison.

Miles: „What do you mean with that?"

Stella: „This brutal rowdy called and said, he knew our adress!"

Miles: „Will we ever get rid of him?"

Helga: „We have to barricade all doors and windows!"

Stella: „We cannot lock up ourselfs! There must be another solution!"

Helga: „Moving away and getting a new identity!"

Miles: „No! Please calm down!"

Arnold: „That's it! Police protection!"

Miles: „This idea is not so bad! I'll take care of it."

Stella: „I hope that then it became calmer again here!"

She looked at the kids, which were sitting now side by side and holding hands. On the one hand the sight was heart-wrenching, because they were feeling so helpless, but on the other hand it really was tenderly.

Stella: „I'm so sorry for you two! You don't deserve this!"

She hugged both together.

Stella: „Miles and me will never let you down! We will defend us against him together!"

Thanks to Stella, Arnold and Helga were able to smile a bit again.
