Goku and Raditz panted in exhaustion after another long training session. They had been flying through space for roughly a month now and were almost at Planet Plant. Trunks walked up to them and told them,
"Alright, you've done good so far. Once we land, I'll explain the battle plan. For now, let us pray."
The 3 saiyans sat down and did so, and by the time they were done, the ship had landed. Noticing this, the saiyans went down and were greeted to huge amounts of cheering from several saiyans that had been waiting for them. The saiyans all yelled,
"PRAISE GOD! KING TRUNKS HAS RETURNED!"
Trunks humbly waved to his subjects and introduced Goku.
"My loyal subjects, this is my father, Son Goku! With his help, we will be able to defeat Frieza and bring peace to the universe!"
The saiyans cheered, and Trunks continued by saying,
"Here's the battle plan: We have just received intel that Frieza is planning to attack the planet Namek soon in order to get its dragon balls. We will intercept his forces as they arrive there, and Goku will engage him in battle, as I want to see how strong he is!"
Another thunderous roar of applause sounded out, and Trunks smiled. After this, the saiyans all began preparing their spacepods for immediate departure. Goku didn't like how cramped the spacepods were, but Raditz told him to suck it up. After a few hours, the saiyans were all ready to go, and blasted off for Namek.
They arrived after only a few days, and were greeted by the Namekians. Trunks explained to them what was going on, and they quickly agreed to help the saiyans. They were even brought to the grand elder Guru, who unlocked Goku and Raditz's potentials. He offered to do the same for Trunks, but the hero politely declined, saying that his own strength would be enough.
Eventually, Frieza's ship did land on the planet and out came the emperor and his 2 right hand men, Zarbon and Dodoria. Along with them flooded out hundreds of soldiers. Trunks told Frieza,
"I'm giving you one last chance to surrender and renounce your evil ways, Frieza."
Frieza laughed and replied,
"Foolish monkey, you don't have any control over me anymore! Ever since I saw you kill my father, I've been…ugh, training. The very thought makes me sick, but I had no choice! And now I've evolved to a level that you can't even imagine."
"Is that so? Goku, would you like to test that theory?"
Goku cracked his knuckles and stepped forward. Frieza laughed upon seeing this, asking Trunks,
"So you want to send this weakling to do the work for you? Very well. Dodoria, take care of him."
"My pleasure."
The fat, smelly, ugly figure of Dodoria stepped forward, cracking his knuckles as well. Goku assumed a battle stance, and after a few moments, Dodoria charged at Goku. However, the saiyan dodged the attack and punched Dodoria in the gut, tearing right through the alien's chest by complete accident. Upon seeing this, Frieza's forces charged at the saiyans, who did the same.
A great battle ensued, with the saiyans easily dominating the frieza soldiers without even needing to transform. Goku and Raditz attempted to charge at Frieza, but the Ginyu force got in their way, doing fabulous poses. However, before Goku and Raditz could attack, Captain Ginyu was hit by a large ki blast. Everyone looked up to see Prince Vegeta, who smirked and said,
"Did you fools really think that I would just stay on Plant? After I kill you fools, Frieza's next."
He then looked at Goku and Raditz and yelled,
"You weaklings stay out of this! Like I said, after I kill these weaklings and Frieza, the king is next! I will reclaim the throne my TRUE father was robbed of!"
Unbeknownst to a very confused Goku, Trunks and his wife hadn't told Vegeta of his true parentage, and had instead told him that his father had died shortly before he was born. Knowing this and the role Trunks had played in the death of King Vegeta caused the prince to despise his biological father. Raditz responded to Vegeta's taunts by yelling,
"Oh yeah?! Well we've been training in 30 times Planet Plant's gravity and got our potential unlocked! You may have been the second strongest saiyan when we left for Earth, but how about now?!"
"Hmph, we'll see about that."
Vegeta then focused his attention back on the Ginyu force, who were getting into fighting stances. Zarbon also flew in to assist. Vegeta smirked. Just more weaklings to kill.
In the midst of the chaos happening around them, Trunks and Frieza stared each other down. The hero of the stars vs the emperor of the universe. Trunks told Frieza,
"You don't really think that you can beat me, do you?"
Freiza chuckled and replied,
"Oh, you don't think that I would have prepared for this, you stupid monkey? I already told you: After I saw you kill my father, not only did I have my soldiers perform experimental surgeries and hellish training matches to heighten their powers as much as possible, but I also underwent my own...grah, training. It was only a few months, but it will still be enough to kill you."
Frieza then destroyed his hoverchair and began powering up, saying as he did so,
"I've never had to lift a finger before, granted ultimate power simply by existing! But you….you forced me to do this. I hope you like what you see!"
Frieza let out a loud roar, and after a huge burst of energy which killed several saiyans and frieza soldiers alike, Frieza floated above Trunks in his final form. All of the fighters stopped their combat for a moment as they beheld Frieza's final form. Those who could sense ki couldn't fathom the power on display. Vegeta thought to himself,
"Th-this is the power…of Frieza…? How….how can anyone be this strong?!"
Even Goku was terrified at the power Frieza was emitting. But not Trunks. The half-saiyan simply smirked and replied,
"Hmph. finally…I can go all out."
Trunks then began powering up as well. Everyone was shocked once again, and Frieza smirked. Once Trunks was done powering up, he and Frieza assumed their own fighting stances. After a few moments of silence, the 2 charged at each other, colliding punches and then beginning to exchange violent blows. After a brief exchange where Frieza didn't land a single hit, he was sent flying into a Namekian mountain.
Frieza flew back towards Trunks in fury and began attempting to hit him even more, but was simply grabbed by the arm and thrown to the ground. Seeing this, Goku shouted,
"Go, Trunks!"
However, Captain Ginyu then yelled,
"You're wide open!"
The captain stretched his arms out and prepared to use his famous body change technique. However, before he could fire, he was blasted into pieces by Vegeta. The saiyan prince looked at Goku in annoyance and told him,
"Keep your eyes on the fight, dumbass. Or I'll kill you."
Goku could already tell that he didn't like Vegeta in the slightest, regardless of them being related. Regardless, he did as he said as he continued to fight, taking on Reccome, Guldo and Zarbon while Raditz took on Jeice and Burter. Zarbon yelled,
"It pains me to do this, but to defeat you, it seems I must!"
The green fighter then transformed into his true monster form, and Goku was shocked at his hideous appearance. The evil fighter then began to fight Goku alongside Reccome and Guldo again, doing slightly better than before. Meanwhile, Frieza had flown into the air once again and was charging a massive ki ball to wipe Trunks and then planet out.
Trunks responded by cupping his hands, and as Frieza fired the death ball, Trunks responded in kind with a kamehameha. The 2 struggled against each other, but Trunks eventually managed to overpower the tyrant, causing the death ball to explode. As the smoke cleared, Freiza floated there, wounded.
Trunks told him,
"It's over Frieza. You may have forced me to use my full base power, but you're still not strong enough to beat me. If you join me, I can show you the ways of our lord and savior, Jesus Christ."
Frieza didn't know what Trunks was talking about, and frankly, he didn't care. He gritted his teeth in rage and looked like he was about to blow up the planet…but he then stopped. The emperor darkly chuckled and told the saiyan king,
"I told you, my training will be enough to kill you."
"Well, clearly you were wrong, since I hold the advantage right now!"
"Oh, you stupid, stupid monkey. Never change. The truth is…"
Frieza pointed up a single figure and ominously said,
"This isn't even my final form…"
