It was January, 1st and Arnold woke up with a headache.

He went down to the kitchen to take a headache pill.

„Good Morning, Helga!", he said to her, noticing she was sitting at the table.

„Good Morning, Arnold!", she answered. „Headache, too?"

„Yes. You, too? What a coincidence.", he said.

„I don't think so!", she said, „I think it's the climate change!"

„Why do you think that?", he asked.

„Look at the temperature outside!", she answered.

„What? 59°F? We have January, 1st!", he shouted.

„That's the price for messing up this planet!", she said calmly. „And we cannot change it. I mean, not we two alone!"

„We could start a demonstration!", Arnold mentioned.

„Not a bad idea, but we are only kids. Nobody would notice us, even if we could convince the whole school to help us!", she sighed.

„Yeah, it seems hopeless!", he said.

„Wonderfull morning, Kids!", Stella said, entering the kitchen. „Uhm,...are you two okay? You look so beaten. To much party yesterday?"

„Morning, Mom. No, we seem to be weather-sensitive. We have headaches because of the risen tempreture.", Arnold answered.

„Yes, i noticed that. But i am not vulnerable to that. But it's alarming, nontheless!", Stella said.

„What is alarming?", Miles asked, who entered the kitchen right now.

„Climate change!", Helga said.

„You're right!", he answered, „And that's the reason, i'm installing solar panels on the roof! We cannot save the world, but we can contribute to climate protection."

„That's something!", Helga said.

„Yes, you're my Hero, Darling!", Stella said to Miles.

„I am doing NOTHING today, sorry! My Head is exploding!", Arnold whined.

„Yeah, mine, too!", Helga added, „Is it okay, if we only watch TV or play cards, today, Stella?"

„Sure! We cleaned most of the remains from the party already!", Stella answered.

„Thanks, Stella, it's really sweet of you!", Helga said and smiled, „Come along, headache-boy!"

„Helga…", Arnold whined.

„Sorry Arnold, but the pain makes me sarcastically!", Helga said and kissed him on the cheek.

He smiled and followed her.

„What do you want to watch?", he asked.

„Not the weather forcast, for sure!", she joked.

Both were laughing.
