Tom and B'Elanna entered the holodeck and it was turned into a theater. Tom and B'Elanna found seats in the middle of the theater. Other parents took seats around them. To. m leaned closer. "Are you ready for this?" B'Elanna shook her head as the curtain opened.

A little girl came out in a red uniform and wig. She had her hands on her hips. Tom knew that she was Janeway. She opened her mouth to speak. Tom watched the show about the start of Voyager. He saw Dexter play Chakotay and Miral play Seska. He also saw Gabby in the background as a crew member.

The play ended with Seska leaving. Tom and B'Elanna stood. "I have to go," B'Elanna said. Tom watched B'Elanna leave. He could tell that she was upset and knew it best to leave her alone. Tom stood and clapped as the kids came on stage. After the play ended, Tom waited for the kids.

"Where's mom?" Mail asked as she looked around for B'Elanna. "I thought she was here."

"She was. She had to go to engineering," Tom lied to his daughter, he had a feeling to why B'Elanna left. "I hear that Neelix has ice cream in the mess hall," Dexter and Gabby yelled and jumped up and down. Tom looked at Miral to see how sad she was. She put a smile on for Gabby when she asked her sister what topping she wanted on her ice cream.

Once they got to the mess hall where Tom saw other parents with their children. Tom helped is children get ice before finding a seat. Dexter and Gabby were telling Tom what happened backstage. Tom watched Miral pick at her ice cream. He wanted to say something, but James decided to play with his little bit of ice cream. Tom had to watch him.

"Should we bring Mommy some ice cream?" Gabby asked.

"I think it will melt by the time we get home," Tom said. Gabby frowned. "Why don't you get Mommy a cookie?"

Gabby nodded and went to pick put a cookie for B'Elanna. Dexter decided to go with her because he thought she didn't know what B'Elanna favorite cookie.

Miral looked at her siblings before turning to Tom. "Did Mom not like my performance? I know when Mom or you get called away. Mom had a different look on her face when she left."

Tom didn't know that Miral saw when B'Elanna left. He didn't know how B'Elanna felt. "I think your mom loved your performance. I think that she was overcome with emotions, but I think you have to ask her."

Miral wanted to say something, but she saw her brother and sister coming back with a cookie for B'Elanna. Tom picked up James. "Let's go home," Tom said to the children. Tom watched as the children came out of the mess hall.

When they entered their quarters and they saw a light on in their parents' room. The kids looked up at him, they knew that B'Elanna was home. "Why don't you guys watch a movie while I talk to your mother?" He headed the children to the couch and put on a movie. Tom watched the children for a moment before going into his room. He saw B'Elanna standing in front of the looking out. He took a sigh. "The kids brought you a cookie," Tom took a quiet approach. B'Elanna nodded. He knew that she heard. "Is everything okay?" He asked when B'Elanna didn't answer him. "Miral thinks you didn't like the performance because you left early."

"I don't think that," B'Elanna turned around.

"Then what happened?" Tom asked. He tried to smile.

B'Elanna looked away for a second before turning back to Tom. "I think the play just hit a note. It was hard remembering all that happened those first few years of Voyager. Miral did such a good job playing Seska that I almost forgot how she betrayed us until the end of the play. How could she betray us so easily?"

Tom walked over to his wife. He knew they had talked about this before but B'Elanna needed his help. "She was Cardassian and didn't want to be here. She had to find different ways to get off the ship. Her betrayal led to her death. Her son is never going to never know her," B'Elanna let out a moan. "If you would have listened to her about me. We would never have been friends, lovers, spouses, parents. It might never had happened." Tom moved closer and wrapped his arms around her. B'Elanna knew that her husband was right. She always felt better in Tom's arms. He always knew when she needed it. "Do you feel better?"

B'Elanna nodded. "Yeah."

Tom leaned back. "I'm going to suggest that you go out there and tell the children that they did wonderful job on the play."

B'Elanna nodded. She knew that he was right. Tom started to pull back his arms, but B'Elanna pulled him close. "Please don't let go just a little bit longer."

Tom held on to her until they heard. "Mom, Dad, James needs his diaper changed," Miral shouted through the door.

B'Elanna let go of Tom. "Can you change him while I talk to Miral?"

Tom nodded and opened the door. Miral stood outside the door. Tom stepped around Miral and headed to the living area.

"Miral, can we talk?" B'Elanna looked at Miral.

Miral glanced at Tom before stepping into the room. The door closed behind her. B'Elanna took a seat on the couch and patted the seat next to her. "Come and sit next to me," Miral took a seat next to her. B'Elanna could read Miral and could tell that she was worried about what B'Elanna was going to say. "I think you played Seska very well. Both you, your brother, and sister did a good job."

"Then why did you leave?" Miral asked.

B'Elanna looked away for a moment. "You did such a good job that you brought up some emotions that I didn't like."

"Was it about Seska?" Miral asked.

"Yes," B'Elanna looked away for a second. She was back sixteen years when they entered the Delta Quadrant. They were trying to figure out how to come together as a new team. "She was my best friend and told me to stay away from your father. I decided to listen to her, and I called your father a pig once we found our way."

Miral nodded before smiling. "Did you really call Dad a pig?"

"Yes, I did," B'Elanna smiled.

"How did you end up with him?" Miral asked.

B'Elanna smiled as she thought about the way she and Tom fell in love. "It happened because we started out as friends."

"Friends?" Miral raised an eyebrow. She had seen her parents together and it was hard to see them as friends.

"Yes," B'Elanna smiled. "Being friends helped us get to know each other and we helped each other as friends before we became a couple. If that didn't happen, you may not be here."

Miral smiled. "Well, I'm glad you didn't listen to her. I'm glad to be here."

"Me, too," B'Elanna reached out and hugged her daughter. "I hear that there is cookie with my name on it," B'Elanna stood.

"There is. Dexter and Gabby picked it out for you," Miral stood and followed B'Elanna out of the room.

B'Elanna stared out the window, looking at the Golden Gate Bridge. It was a bright and sunny day. The perfect day. B'Elanna could see Tom planning a perfect day for their anniversary. It would have been a day together.

"Mom, are you okay?" Miral came downstairs.

"Yeah," B'Elanna turned to see her daughter standing there in a Starfleet yellow ready for her first away mission. "Don't you look beautiful."

"Thank you," Miral could see that her mother had a sad look in her eyes. Miral knew what today was. "It's your and Dad's anniversary."

B'Elanna nodded. "Yeah, he would have loved seeing you in this," B'Elanna smooth out the wrinkles that was there in Miral's uniform.

"I'm sure he would," Miral smiled. She never knew her father, he was gone before she was born. He never got to make it home.

B'Elanna hugged her daughter. "Good luck out there," She kissed her. "Love you."

"Love you, too," Miral hugged her mother one more time before leaving.

"You would be proud, Tom," B'Elanna said to her dead husband.

B'Elanna woke with a startle. She took a breath and glanced over to see Tom was still sleeping. She got out of bed and made her way out of the bedroom. She first went to the girls' room to see Miral and Gabby were still sleeping. She let out her breath and went to check on the boys. She saw that they were still sleeping too. She went back to room to Tom had taken up the bed. She went to the bathroom before making her way to bed.

"Tom, move over," B'Elanna hit her husband.

Tom woke up. "Why did you get out of bed?"

B'Elanna didn't know if she wanted to tell Tom about the dream. "I had a dream and I had to check on the children."

Tom moved and B'Elanna got in. Tom kissed her. "Do you want to talk about?"

"No," B'Elanna tried to get comfortable. "Move over," She hit him again. Tom moved over some, but he pulled B'Elanna close to him. Tom kissed her again.

"I hate when you a not in the bed."

"No, you like it because that means you could take over the bed. You have been doing it since we got together," B'Elanna tried to pull away from Tom. "I have an early meeting with my engineers tomorrow morning."

Tom pulled her under him. "Perfect. I can help you relax."

"Tom," B'Elanna tried to protest but she was laughing at the face Tom was making. Tom took the opportunity and kissed her.

"Mom, why are you so happy?" Dexter asked.

B'Elanna tried to hide her smile because Tom kept her warm all night. B'Elanna had to remember if she locked the door because they didn't need another horsey situation. B'Elanna looked at Dexter. "Because I have a wonderful family," She kissed him on the top of his head. Dexter rolled his eyes as he pulled away. B'Elanna slightly laughed. "Alright, let's finishing up we have to go to school." B'Elanna picked up James to clean up.

B'Elanna watched as the rest of the kids cleaned up and gathered their school things. She took the kids to school and told them that Tom was picking them up from school. B'Elanna tried to shake the smile as she entered engineering. She saw all her engineers waiting for her. She started her meeting.

An hour after the meeting, B'Elanna heard, "Commander Torres to astrometrics," Seven's voice came over the comm. B'Elanna sighed but went to Vorik that she was leaving.

B'Elanna walked into the lab to find Seven and Janeway standing there. Both looked up when she entered. "Commander Torres," Janeway started. "We have found a planet that might work. Since you brought it up. I would like you to lead a team to see if it is habitable." B'Elanna glanced at Seven one more time before nodding to the captain that she would do it. "Get a team together and I think three days should be done to see if it is habitable," B'Elanna nodded.

The Delta Flyer was packed with camping gear and all the supplies they were going to need for three days. B'Elanna was waiting for her team, they should be here soon. The shuttle bay doors opened and B'Elanna thought that it might be one of her team members, but it was Tom

"I came to say goodbye," Tom smiled.

"Goodbye," B'Elanna wrapped her arms around Tom's neck.

"Yeah, I'm going miss you," Tom kissed her.

"You don't want to deal with our four children," B'Elanna whispered against Tom's lips.

"Can you blame me?" Tom gave a weak smile when B'Elanna narrowed her eyes. "You have met our children."

"I have and you will be fine," B'Elanna pulled out of Tom's arms and patted him on his chest.

The shuttle bay doors opened and the rest of B'Elanna's team came in. Seven, Neelix, and Lt. Wildman came in. B'Elanna backed away from Tom. "I love you," Tom said to her.

"I love you, too." B'Elanna said before turning to the rest of the team. "If we have everything, we can get underway," Seven and Lt. Wildman got on the shuttle. B'Elanna saw Neelix exchanged words with Tom before he got on the shuttle. B'Elanna took one more look at Tom before getting on the shuttle herself. She took a seat. "Please let the bridge know that we are leaving," B'Elanna said to the room.
