The year was 2010 of the Britannian calender and 33rd year of Showa era in the Japanese system. Britannia had just declared war on the Empire Japan. Rights to Japan's underground resources became a hotly disputed issue between the two nations, straining the already deep rooted diplomatic tensions between the two nations. In the deciding battle for the Mainland, Britannia introduced the humanoid autonomous armored knight, known as the Knightmare frame.
The Imperial Japanese Army, tried its best to hold off against Britannia's new weapon, but they vastly underestimated their enemy's power. Japan's defense lines were pushed back and nearly obliterated, the Japanese Army had was nearly put to the brink of collapse. In just one month, Japan surrendered and became a dominion to Britannia.
Japan had lost its rights, its freedom and its name.
Area 11
The people were rebranded and stripped to a another number to Britannia.
But to add more salt to the wound. In an act of dominance, Britannia publicly executed the Emperor of Japan along with the rest of the Japanese Imperial family that they had managed to capture.
With the end of the war came the end of Japan.
Yokusaka Imperial Army Headquarters, outside
What was left of the Imperial Japanese Army were all spread across the entire archipelago. Imperial forces in Hokkaido continued resisting the Imperial Army, making it a stronghold of the newly created Japan Liberation Front. What was left of the Imperial forces in Honshu were to gather at Narita, where they will begin their campaign of freedom.
Two young boys and a Japanese soldier are shown next to a truck, several destroyed buildings and a burning cement structure which what used to be the headquarters of the Japanese Imperial Army. As the soldier payed his respects in front of the burning structure, one of the boys is sitting down on rubble, looking at the ground clasping his hands in disbelief and anger. His name was Suzaku Kururugi, the son of the late prime minister of Japan, Genbu Kururugi and the boy next to him is the 11th prince of Britannian Empire, Lelouch vi Britannia.
"I swear... Suzaku, I swear," Lelouch voice is heard, Suzaku look at his friend, who had the same expression of anger as him. "I will one day, obliterate Britannia."
Holy Britannian Empire, Area 11, Tokyo Military base, 2017 a.t.b.
The Japanese youth immediately opened his eyes as the sound of the alarm went off, indicating that he his unit was being deployed. "A dream?" Suzaku wondered. Remembering the day when Japan fell seven years ago and when his best friend had made his declaration. It was honestly the last he thought Lelouch would say at that moment. He remembered the day when he and his best friend departed their own ways. After all considering how he is the son of Prime minister of the nation that Britannia had just subjugated and Lelouch being a Prince on the run, it was pretty clear as to why. He will admit he was taken aback by Lelouch's declaration. He never thought that Lelouch would even say such a thing, after what they had gone through.
Then again, he does understand why he would.
As he get up from his bed, he quickly gets dressed to his military uniform, and putting on the body armour as does the rest of his platoon. After they all suited up, they rushed outside to the compound, where their commander waited for them. Suzaku was the first to get in line as everyone all gathered around him. They all stood to attention, with their helmets to their side.
He wondered as to what was going on, considering that Honorary Britannians don't often get deployed that much ever since the purebloods had been slowly taking over the military. He assumed it had something to with the Ghettos. Since Honorary Britannians were former numbers that used to live in the ghettos, it made sense to send units whi know the area well. As the only ones who lived their were numbers. A sight of the Ghettos appeared in the young Japanese youth head, making him cringe at the very thought of it.
"Attention!" The commander yelled getting everyone to straighten themselves. "At around 1200 hours, terrorists had somehow infiltrated a facility that belonged to Viceroy Clovis," the commander began, which raised a brow of the brown haired Japanese boy. "The police has been informed that it was medical supplies, however the true contents of what they had stolen... were Chemical weapons."
That took everyone by surprise as they all whispered to each other about. They were surprised to learn that Clovis of all people was making chemical weapons. Everyone in Area 11 knew what sort of man Clovis was, he was eccentric, flamboyant, arrogant and most of all harmless. For all intents and purposes, Clovis is considered one of the more 'kinder' members of the Royal family. He had a pretty neutral stance regarding the the numbers, but when it came to them, the elevens, he doesn't have the greatest opinions. People will say its hypocritical of him to say he is all for equality except when it ckmes to Elevens, but considering that two of his siblings died during the invasion, he mostly like assumed that they were responsible for it. Other than that, he isn't really that bad of a Viceroy, though when it came to to dealing with the resistance he was mostly blind to it.
Suzaku in the meanwhile could only clench his jaw and his fist as he glared at the commander.
"Your mission is to recover the weapon and kill any of the terrorists on sight. If the terrorists managed to get away with the weapon, many Britannian lives will be lost," the commander intructed, as a man wearing dark red trenchcoat of the Britannian uniform who had a scar on tye bottom of his right eye came up behind the commander. "This is captain Johann Ein, of Prince Clovis's Royal guard," he gestured to the man, who just stared at the Honorary Britannians in disgust. "He will be leading tye recovery operation, do you understand!?" He shouted.
The Honorary Britannians, including Suzaku clicked the heels of their boots. "Yes, my lord!" They all cried out.
The commander turned to the Captain. "Their yours now, captain," he says, as he made way for the captain to take his place.
Before he even spoke, the captain eyed them with a look a of disgust, he then let out a spit which landed in Suzaku's chestplate. The Japanese youth narrowed his eyes at that, which was noticed by the royal guard captain. The captain then came up to the Brunette, which caused Suzaku to look up due to the man's imposing height.
The captain smiled sadisticly, as a way of telling him of what he is gonna do about it. Suzaku for a moment was tempted to punch his face, but quickly calmed down as he knew it would ruin his mission.
With that settled he then walked away and returned back to where he was. "Move out!" He ordered.
As soon as he said it, all the Honorary Britannians all headed to the vtol carrier. As soon as everyone boarded, the vtol lift off, following the vtol of Royal guard as both vehicles headed to the Shinjuku Ghetto.
Shinjuku Ghetto
As soon as they all arrived to tye Ghetto, the Honorary Britannians were all deployed dropped off from the vtol. As they do, the Royal gurad captain informed them of the current whereabouts of the terrorists.
"We have received information that the terrorists are making use of the old subway channels. Your task is to find the Terrorists vehicle. Investigate the subway channel and immediately notify as soon as you locate them. We the royal guard handle the recovery of the weapon." As ordered all the Honorary Britannians immediately made their way to the to the old subway channels and as they do many of the inhabitants all fled the moment they saw the soldiers. "You may have been titled as Honorary Britannians, but you were originally elevens. The stench of these gilth will all too familiar with you. If you want to earn the right to possess a firearm then bring results! This your chance to show your loyalty to his majesty and to Britannia."
"Yes my lord!" The soldiers all answered as they all proceed to enter the subway channel and disperse in their own separate ways.
Meanwhile with Suzaku, he was looking around and checking every corner of the area he was in searching for the vehicle. But there was also one more reason as to why he was looking around. He tried to look around a place for where there was range for his comms to reach. As he checked, he decided to go even deeper in the channels, hoping that his comms won't reach. As he continued walking down deeper through the tunnel, his comms went silent. The young man let out a breath, tired of all the walking.
He then pressed his back against the wall and dropped on the ground, sitting down. Sitting down he took out an earpiece from his pocket. Putting it on, he tapped it three taps which then made a continuous sound. He then waited for the other line to pick up.
After a short moment the sound was gone and a voice was heard. "Nest to Sparrow, are you clear?" The voice asked, making sure no one was aroused the boy.
"This is Sparrow, no. All clear," The young man said after making sure there wasn't anyone around.
"Then let's skip the formalities. Tell me what happened, Suzaku?" The voice asked.
"Looks like that group you hired failes to go through with the plan. The Army is now trying to recover it right now, the Viceroy's personal forces are also here," Suzaku informed, which made the voice on the earpiece click his tongue.
"I see, well there's nothing we can do," the voice says, a little disappointed by the situation.
"So what should I do then?" Suzaku asks.
"Since this whole operation is a failure, nothing. Follow the orders that the Britannians have given you," the voice tells him. Which made the young man slightly annoyed.
"But sir, if the Britannians get the weapon back then there is a chance they will use it on the Japanese," Suzaku points out. "Just give the order and I'll help the Kozuki group escape-"
"No!" The vioce cut him off. "We simply can't risk losing you."
Suzaku clenched his jaw irritated. "You mean, you can't risk losing me, Tohdoh."
The voice, now revealed to the infamous Kyoshirou Tohdoh, who was responsible for Japan's victory over at Itsukushima during the war seven years, went silent. The atmosphere around Suzaku grew more awkward due to the silence.
"Suzaku," Tohdoh spoke, breaking the silence. "Remember why we assigned you this mission."
The young Japanese boy clenched his teeth. "Because of what happened at Tachikawa." A memory of what happened that day flashed in his head, which made hem clench his teeth even more.
"Exactly, if you had followed through with thr plan we wouldn't have sent you to infiltrate the Britannian military. Your actions that day, proven you are not ready!" Tohdoh gets it through to him, which made the Brunette boy turn his eyes away. "As I said before, continue playing along with the orders that the Brits given you. You better make sure not to mess this up, do you understand?" He asked, wanting to know if his words got through to him.
"... y-yes... yes sir." Suzaku replied.
Suzaku turned off the the earpiece before his mentor could say anything else. Taking off tye earpiece, he had the urge to throw it, but quickly got rid of the thought as it was a one of a kind earpiece. He reluctantly put it back into his pocket and proceed to follow the orders that his Britannian superiors had told him to do. The Brunette boy decided to head up to one more level as he figured it was on one of the top floors considering how deep the tunnel he was in is. When he got to the next level, he suddenly heard a loud crash nearby him. He looked around wondering where the sound came from. And behold to his surprise, it was a truck, he wondered for a moment if it was the one that the terrorists stole. At that moment the outer door of the truck opened, which revealed a canister. The canister matched the description of the one that was stolen, which answered his earlier thoughts.
At first he thought about not obeying Tohdoh's orders and not report the fact he found the terrorists vehicle. But due to how much trouble he was already in with the JLF, he decided to follow his orders this one time. He tapped on his comm link signalling his superiors that he had found the vehicle.
Seeing as this was cue to leave, Suzaku decided to wait leave the area but as he was about to, he saw someone getting out of the trailer of the truck. From what they looked like, he was almost they weren't Japanese. Suzaku instinctively knew that they were and was going to be killed by the military.
He rushed to the truck, trying to get the random bystander out of there.
"Hey stop right there!" He yelled, which got the attention of the bystander. "What in the world are you doing here? Its not safe," the Japanese youth tells him, as he approached him. As he came closer, he felt he had seen the bystander before.
"What? What's going on?" The young boy asked, trying to figure out what was happening.
"That's not important," Suzaku said, as got on the trailer. "Listen, the Viceroy's Royal Guard is on the way. That thing there is a Chemical weapon that the terrorists stole from the Viceroy." Suzaku explains.
"Chemical weapons?" The stranger asks.
"Yeah and once the Royal guard gets here they'll make sure to leave no witnesses. You're luck that I was here or else-" Suzaku stopped mid sentence after seeing the young boy's face he realised who he was.
"So it was by Britannia wasn't it?" The boy said, as Suzaku continued to be amazed. "Then why are you helping them take it back. Instead what you should do, is take down Britannia."
"Lelouch?" Suzaku said his name, which takes the young Britannian boy now revealed to be Lelouch vi Britannia aback. Suzaku quickly takes of his helmet revealing who he was to him. "It's me Suzaku."
"Suzaku?" Lelouch asks, surprised to see his friend joined the Britannian Army. "You're a soldier?"
"What about you? Don't tell me you're a-"
"Don't be ridiculous!" Lelouch cut him off mid sentence, offended that his friend woukd assume such a thing.
Suzaku couldn't believe this, of all things he would've never thought to reunite with Lelouch during a mission. Much less one that involved terrorists, he did wonder as to how he got wrapped in to all this. Considering what Lelouch said years ago after they went they're separate ways.
Before Suzaku could ask more questions, the capsule all of a sudden began to open. Suzaku noticing this, immediately runs to Lelouch to knock him down on the ground, putting his mask over Lelouch's mouth. He knew full well he would die but he for sure knew Nunnally needed Lelouch by her side. But to their surprise, instead of Chemical gas, a girl with emerald hair instead comes out, wearing a prison suit.
"What? Its not Chemical gas!?" Suzaku says shocked with wide eyes. The green haired girl stared at the two teenagers for brief moment before once again passing out.
The two boys get up after realising the situation. The two then proceed to head over to the girl and pick her up and get her out of the truck and layed her down on the ground.
Suzaku tried to understand what was going on, as he tried to figure out why his superiors had lied to them about it being Chemical gas. He assumed it could've been related to human experimentation, as Britannia actually would do that. But from what it looked like, she didn't seemed to have been experimented on. No wounds, no shot marks, no cuts or any missing limbs whatsoever. He tried to think of all the possibilities, but couldn't come to a conclusion.
"Chemical gas? This girl?" Lelouch asks confused as the two of them release the girl from her restraints.
"That's what they briefed us." Suzaku tells him, just as confused as he was.
Suddenly a bright light was turned on, in front of them causing them to be momentarily blind. The two teens quickly turned around to the direction to where the light was coming, only to see Clovis's Royal guard.
"You filthy monkey! Not even an Honorary Britannian has the authority to do what you did!" The Royal guard captain from earlier, immediately began to scold Suzaku.
"Sir, I briefed that the capsule contained poison gas," the Brunette boy say as he came up to his superior. "Besides the capsule opened itself, I was just simpl-"
"You dare talk back to me!" The captain cuts him off, offended that a former number was talking back to him.
Suzaku for a moment clenched his jaw. He knew damn well that it was going to be impossible to talk his way out of this. Considering how they just lied about the capsule containing Chemical gas, it won't be surprising if they won't let them get out alive. Even if the Viceroy was royalty they aren't exempt from human experimentation, much less one kept a secret from the Emperor. Suzaku tried to figure out a way for the three of them to escape. He couldn't allow that girl to be taken back by the Britannians. One thing's for sure, Clovis is desperate to get her back and he wouldn't let him have that chance.
"However private, in light of your military achievements I'll be merciful." Suzaku eyes widened for a moment as this was rare sight. Usually his Britannian superiors would use this opportunity to scold or beat him up for doing something like this. However he had a feeling it wasn't going to be that simple. "Use this gun to kill that terrorist," the captain offered his gun tk him, which made Suzaku hesitate and also taken aback.
"Sir, he isn't a terrorist! He is just a citizen who got caught up in this mess," Suzaku tried to explain, trying to save his friend from getting killed.
The Royal guard captain becomes furious at Suzaku's words. "You little monkey! You dare to disobey orders!"
"Shit, what should I do now," Suzaku tried to think of an solution for Lelouch to escape with the girl without a fight breaking out. If word wete to get out that he disobeyed an order from the Britannians it'll mark him as a deserter and a terrorist. Tohdoh is already furious at him for all the mess he had made due to his recent missions and he sure as hell ain't messing this one up. "Is there really no way out of this?" Suzaku wonders. Desperately figuring out a way to get of there without blowing up his cover.
After a while of thinking Suzaku eventually decides to take the gun. He turned around and aimed it toward Lelouch, who could only look terrified as to what will happen now. But Lelouch's terrified face was then replaced with a look of confusion as he saw his friend making a movement with his hands. Lelouch instantly knew what it meant and his face turned into one of worry and surprise.
"Suzaku don-" Before Lelouch could say anything else Suzaku shot the gun. But the shot did not go to Lelouch but instead the Royal guard captain.
The Captain could only drop down on to the ground and scream in pain as he held down his stomach as bled. The rest of the guard were stunned as to what had just as they tried to process what had just happened. Suzaku noticing this, took advantage of this and shot two more guards killing them instantly. "Guess there's no other choice. Sorry Tohdoh but there is no way I'm letting Lelouch die here."
"What are you idiots doing!? Shoot him! Shoot that damned eleven!" The captain ordered angrily as he whimpers in pain.
"Lelouch run! I'll hold them back for as long as I can." Suzaku began to shoot again as the rest of the guard regained their senses and began aiming their weapons as they all tried to find cover.
Suzaku did the same and immediately hid behind some rubble as Lelouch carried the girl on his shoulder and tried to run out of the tunnel with her. The Royal guard after finding cover immediately began firing their weapons, as two of them dragged the captain out of there.
"Let's escape together Suzaku," Lelouch suggests to Suzaku as he approached him.
"There is no way we can all escape with them behind us," Suzaku says as he gets up and fired his pistol and managed to kill on of the guards. "Besides I only have a pistol they have rifles they won't hesitate to shoot us the moment we start to run away."
"But still-"
"Just get out!" Suzaku yelled. As he gets up from his cover and heads foward to the other side.
Lelouch knowing it was pointless to try and convince him any further as he escaped with the emerald haired girl.
Suzaku after seeing the two escape let out a sigh of relief. Knowing that the two of them had now left he could focus on distracting them for as long as possible. But as he was about to take cover somewhere else, a bullet scraped his leg causing him to fall on the ground. The soldier who sout him wasted no time to jump up on him as a way of holding him down as soon everyone else came to pin him down.
After the young boy was restrained, the captain who had been bandaged came up to him as was carried by another soldier on his shoulder. The captain wasted no time to punch the Japanese bo on the face along with a kick to his stomach which made the boy cough. After that tye captain spat on his face.
"You damned eleven, I should've known you were with these terrorists. You probably had given them the information about the subject," the captain rambled, as Suzaku looks up at him with a smug smirk.
"Go fuck yourself you damn Brit. There is no world where a sane Japanese would ever serve a Brit," he said which earned another punch from him.
"Heh, you think you're so tough, huh? You damned monkey," the captain asks as he takes a pistol from one of the soldiers. "I'll be merciful today and give you a quick death. Once I find your little friend of yours I'll make sure to send him along your way."
Suzaku now clenched his jaw worried for Lelouch. He hoped that Lelouch had escaped out of the Ghetto by now. Considering how close they are to the settlement its quite possible. He could only hope.
The captain aimed the gun at the boy's waist and fired the gun. Suzaku after feeling the impact of the bullet immediately fell unconscious by it. The soldiers drop his body after they made sure he was gone for good.
As the Royal guard about to go find the prisoner and the other boy, the truck that the terrorists stole all of a sudden exploded causing the structure around it to fall apart, blocking the way where Lelouch and the girl escaped.
"Damn it!"
"What should we do sir?" A soldier inquired.
"Find out where the tunnel leads out, we can catch them by the time we get there," the captain says as the rest followed him.
As they left, the supposed deceased body of Suzaku Kururugi began moving a bit. Somehow he was alive just unconscious. However even though his body moved he didn't wake up, his movements looked as if he was having a bad dream or a nightmare.
Inside Suzaku's mind
"Pathetic."
"Worthless."
"Useless."
"Trash."
"Murder."
The words echoed. Suzaku was floating around in a dark place completely naked in a fetal position as he covered his ears, not wanting to hear them. The voices continue to repeat the same words as Suzaku got more irritated and distressed.
"Shut up!"
"Why? Are you trying to deny what you did?" The voices say in a mocking tone, as they all laughed.
"No! That's not it! I just..." Suzaku tries to say something back, but couldn't think of anything.
"You can't keep denying it forever. Face it you're a murderer," the voice says as the area around them changed to the Prime minister's of Japan.
Suzaku after realising where he was, gets down from his fetal position stood up as he witnessed the memory of his father giving him his grandfather's pocket watch. The young boy looked at his father in excitement as his father patted his son's head with a smile.
It was supposed to be a sweet moment for Suzaku, yet instead it was one which he hated. As this was the last time he and his father enjoyed together as father and son.
It then switched to a different scene, where Suzaku was outside his father's study with the door opened a bit as he overheard hus father talking on the phone. Britannia had just invaded Japan and Suzaku had just arrived at the main estate of the Kururugi family. There he overheard a conversation that he should never had heard.
"Yes, I'll make sure to prolong the war," his father said, as Suzaku's face turned horrified ay what he had just heard. "Yes, I made preparations for the army to lose at Itsukushima. Its full proof, your majesty."
The more he listened the more tye young boy couldn't believe the words that were coming out his father's mouth.
"...and you will keep your promise, yes? Very well, All hail Britannia."
And that was the final blow, Suzaku's eyes widened in disbelief as he couldn't believe it himself. His father, the man so patriotic to his country and loyal to the tye Divine Imperial house, has betrayed Japan. His own people. Tye very same man who he had looked up to and revered as a great man, has been working alongside their invaders and supposedly been helping the invasion.
The young boy's shock led to him to lose his grip on the door as it slowly opened making creak, which alerted the middle aged man.
"Suzaku, what are you doing here?!" His father demands wondering if he heard his conversation on the phone.
"Is it true father? You help plan this invasion?" The young Suzaku asks, thinking it was all a joke.
His father could only scoff as he had no chouce but to admit it. "Yes I did, it was bound to happen. I just simply accelerated it," his father replied, making his son furious.
"But what about our people! The very people you swore to serve. And what about the Emperor! Didn't you say you swore loyalty to him?!" Suzaku continued on, trying to remind his father responsibility.
His father only laughed. "Because my son, I know now that Charles zi Britannia is the true man I serve. The damn Emperor in Kyoto is fraud, they aren't gods, they are weak. Unlike his majesty Charles," His father said in a fanatic tone, as Suzaku disbelief grew even more. "Britannia is the future, Japan is a thing of the past. You will understand eventually Suzaku, after this we'll become nobles of the Royal court."
As his fath- No, Genbu continued on, Suzaku could only look on in fury and in outrage as he now had to accept it. His father was a traitor, and had sold his nation for titles. His mind went blank, he didn't know what else to think about except for one thing.
Justice
His father is a traitor and the only thing a traitor like him deserved, was death. As Genbu continued to preach on about Britannia's greatness, he saw the Tanto that was placed on his father's table. As he Genbu rambled on, he silently went up to take it, after taking it he unsheathed it. Seeing as Genbu didn't noticing him with the Tanto, he took the opportunity and stabbed him right in his stomach.
Genbu dropped to his knees not aware what just happened. After he saw the blade in his stomach and Suzaku in front on him, he realized what had just happened.
Suzaku looked at him with his faced furrowed as he looked at him in disgust and outrage.
"Suzaku...? W-"
"You're a traitor to Japan, this is what you deserve, Genbu," Suzaku tells him.
Before Genbu could say anything else, the light in his eyes disappeared and just like that he died. He brought justice to his people and had done a good thing. Yet despite that he felt horrified as he had the one he thought he could never do. Kill his father. That's when the realisation hit him, he had just killed a man, and it wasn't some random person rather it was his father. He looked at his bloody hands and looked at them in a horrified expression and screamed in horror.
The memory ends with Taizo Kirihara, Tohdoh Kyoshirou and Tatewaki Katase running into the room after hearing young Suzaku's scream. Tye three men after entering the saw the scene of their prime minister on his knees dead with a blade stabbed to stomach.
"Wow, who would've thought a ten year old boy would commit patrcide," the voice taunts him.
"SHUT UP!" Suzaku yelled as he looked around to where the voice were coming from. "He was traitor to his people, and his best friend! What I did was justice!"
"Justice, that's what you keep telling yourself isn't it. But the truth is, you killed someone and someone was your father. You can't keep denying the truth Suzaku," the voices turned into one as a dark human like figure appeared.
"He asked for it! He sold his people, his friends and family for Britannia!" Suzaku says, trying to defend his actions.
"I'm not saying what you did was wrong, though it is." It says as it hovers itself above the young man. "What I'm trying to say is, you should broaden your perspective. Tell me, who were the ones that made your father betray his country?"
"Britannia of course, but what does that have to do with anything?" Suzaku asks.
The figure flicked its figure at his answer. "Exactly Britannia, if it weren't for Britannia your father wouldn't have betrayed Japan and it wouldn't have led to you killing your father."
Suzaku's looks down as he begins to understand the figure's logic. Because Britannia existed, his father sold his country knowing that his country would fall either way, so he decided take advantage of it. Britannia wanted it's resources to grow their ever growing military and Britannia... caused Lelouch and Nunnally to suffer.
"Everyone that I care and love has been destroyed by Britannia. Britannia caused so much suffering and boasts about how superior they are to the rest of the world," Suzaku says as he clenched his fist in anger. "WHAT A JOKE! They are just cowards! Cowards oppress those they conquered."
"Yes exactly, Britannia did this. And since Britannia exists we just need to-"
"Crush it!" Suzaku finished the figure's words. "That's right, the only way for everyone to stop suffering. Is to obliterate Britannia." Suzaku declares, remembering what his old friend tild him years ago.
The figure smiled maniacally as he was excited to see Suzaku's spirit, this was the moment. The moment where he will create a new legend.
"Then good, I'll help you then," The figure says as as a strange blue bird like sigil appears behind him. "Then accept this, Suzaku Kururugi. The power of Eden Vital will now awaken who you truly are," the figure said, as Suzaku turned around to see what happened. "From this day forward, you are now a Reaper. "If that's what it takes, so yes. I'll accept this power," Suzaku accepts as held his hand.
The figure went up to Suzaku to accept his hand, to finalise the deal. The moment their fingertips touched, the Sigil began to glow even more frantically and began glowing into a different colour. The colours of tye sigil changed from sapphire blue to emerald green, to ruby red and neon black it then finally became pure white.
"This is your power, the power to fight your enemies, the power to kill those that have wronged you. The power of to see the future, and the power to change it."
The dark figure's body began to change. It formed itself to a near perfect look a like of Suzaku only blonde and a woman wearing strange clothing with a pink version of the bird sigil.
"Well then awaken, fallen warrior of Eden. This time do not fail," the woman said, before disappearing.
In the Real world
Suzaku was laying down on tye ground unconscious as gunfire and explosions could be heard outside. Two soldiers who looked to be Honorary Britannians entered the tunnel to investigate the area, under orders from General Bartley to see if there was anything left. The two Honoraries both saw the unconscious body, recognizing him to be Suzaku. The two soldiers quickly went up to Suzaku and tried to see if was still alive, and to their luck he is. However barely.
"Let's get him to the medical unit, hurry!" One of the man tells his partner as they both carried him by their shoulders as they head to to the Medical units that were stationed near Prince Clovis's G1 base.
But as they did, a young raven haired girl with pink tips at the end looked on from behind the rubble. She had witnessed what had just happened along with what had just happened inside the young boy's mind. The girl could smirk.
"Well then, guess I'll be seeing you soon. Aradugal." The girl then disappeared into thin air. Leaving the place in silence, as a myth was about to begin once more.

Welcome to Code Geass: Rise of the Reaper.
This is a very Suzaku centric fic, which heavily deviates from the original series with Suzaku part of tye JLF and him getting a Geass through unnatural means.
Like I said in failed invasion, if one these two fics gets more favourites and likes by September, it will be become a full fledged project. The other fic will have remain and wait until either Miracle Emperor or any of the two fics that won finishes.
So please, choose well and wisely.
A lot of the things will remain the same from the original series. But I will reveal more information once everything is official.
