Words and apologies
[ACSR: Kiyama-sensei]
Some time had passed since the AIM Burst was destroyed, the sky was orange and Anti-skill had brought their cart below the bridge. Doctor Kiyama had been handcuffed and was soon going to be made to enter the cart.
When she was going to, Misaka stopped her for a moment. She spoke quietly but everyone including the members of Anti-skill could hear her "What now? What do we do, about the children I mean?"
"I have no intention of giving up" Kiyama softly smiled "I'll just have to try again."
"It doesn't matter whether I am in a labratory or a prison cell, they can lock me up but they can't stop me planning" At this point the smile turned a bit sardonic "However I'm still not going to be choosy about my methods, if you don't like the plan I came up with you will have to come and stop me again."
Doctor Kiyama stepped inside the cart and the doors closed behind her. Gunvolt noticed a look of annoyance on Misaka's face, she might have wanted a more concrete answer on regards of what to do. The cart drove off, as it did Misaka sighed "Good grief, she is never going to learn is she?"
At this point Misaka and Uiharu focused their attention on Gunvolt. He was still standing nonchalantly against a pillar. Misaka strutted up to him and pointed at him "Explain yourself mister, you say you know Joule and you are an incredably powerful Electromaster, why have I not heard about you before?"
Gunvolt just kept leaning as a car suddenly drove up and parked only a few meters away from them. Misaka recognised it as a judgement car just as Kuroko leaped out yelling "Sissy!" multiple times and teleport tackling her with a hug. The two of them fell on the floor, Misaka being pulled down by Kuroko's hug. As that was happening and Kuroko was examining Misaka for wounds, Joule got out of the other side of the car. She walked over to gunvolt and they sat down at the base of the pillar to talk quietly. Uiharu noticed that they appeared to be close friends, Misaka would have noticed too but she was currently electrocuting Kuroko for an antic.
"No fair," Kuroko pouted as she got up "I thought you would be out of power after such a big fight." she dusted herself off before looking around "We have good news, it seems the song we used is effective and the patients in comas from the level upper are waking up.
As everyone got in the car to drive to the hospital (Kuroko was to exhasted for long jumps with so many people) Gunvolt began to walk away. While Joule wanted GV to come with them the car only had 4 spare seats. And so they drove to the hospital, Konori had called in a friend to drive them around as she was busy.

At the hospital the four rushed to Saten's room but they found it empty so they left for the roof instead, Uiharu rushing ahead. Saten stood there behind the fence but she was looking at her hands rather than the scenery.
"There you are" Uiharu had taken a step forward
"Oh, hey Uiharu." Saten responded with a slight look of suprise.
Uiharu walked over to Saten near yelling "Don't 'Oh hey' me, I have been looking everywhere for you, why aren't you in your room? Are you sure you should be out of your bed so soon? There could still be something wrong, You were in a coma!"
Uiharu's worried words only made Saten chuckle "I just took a long nap, that's all"
Joule had caught up by now and deadpanned "I think that naps are meant to be short, comas are entirely diffrent."
Saten smiled at the two of them and continued "I'm entirely back to normal now." her smile dipped for a moment before returning "That includes no longer having an abilitiy."
As Uiharu looked away Joule spoke "You had an ability at least, you now know how it feels. Practice and you may pick it back up"
Saten smile dipped again "I doubt it, if I could pick it up again then I wouldn't be level 0" she sighed then and looked at her two friends for a moment before embracing them both in a hug.
Uiharu questioned the hug but Saten replied "I'm sorry, for getting hung up on stupid stuff and keeping secrets from you. And for putting you through all of this."
"You don't have too-" Uiharu was saying before Joule also spoke "It's okay, we understand."
Saten had a tear run down her face as she continued "I came so close to losing something more important than some stupid abilitiy."
They all spent a moment in Saten's embrace before she spoke again "Oh yeah, I almost forgot."
In one swift moment her arms dropped out of the hug to flip the skirts of both her friends so only she could see while crying out "I'm back!"
Both girls blushed but Uiharu began complainging, Joule thought she heard Misaka and Kuroko talking about something while the argument over hear was going on but she only turned around and paid attention when she heard the sound of Kuroko being electrocuted. The three friends looked to each other, smiling, before running over to Misaka and Kuroko.
[ACSR: Sakubou]
Gunvolt was searching through academy city's dark web looking for info on the children from Doctor Kiyama's story, he found a few mentions but nothing new as he heard the story in full. He broadened his search then to look for the doctor in charge of the test "Kihara Gensei" a few things on him such as the ability crystal show up. Gunvolt opens the page about the ability crystal to investigate more.
They were made of a collection of a large variety of neurotransmitters and hormones that are secreted in unusual quantities by overloaded Espers. The crystallized esper essence is the product of collecting, refining and purifying those secretions.
To gunvolt it reminded him of the sorts of experiments that Sumeragi might due so he read on in disgust before stopping suddenly to reread a paragraph he almost skipped.
"An experiment was performed where child errors were given some ability crystals in order to make their abilities run out of control, this test provided lots of data on runaway abilities. The child errors have not awoken yet and it is suspected they never will."
Gunvolt opened the page on the experiment again and found a small reference to the crystal. He created hard copies of both pages before turning off the PC.
Joule talk 11: End of a journey

Joule enterered their rooms as it continued to darken
Gunvolt was cooking food and they sat down at the table, as he put it down he spoke "Well done, you helped a lot of people."
Joule shook her head "If I had not done it, Kiyama had a cure of her own, judgement took possession of it."
"You still did it, you sang for those people to save them. The fact that another cure existed doesn't change anything"
Joule smiled as they moved on to other subjects including the fact that Saten had woken up and was doing so good that she might be forced back to school near-instantly. Not that Saten was complaining, she wanted her friends to think she was fine so she pretended that she was happy to go back so soon.
Gunvolt didn't say what he had learned about the experiment but he did say that he might have found a lead to the children.
The conversation continued until the end of the meal.
[ACMI: Unmei no Hajimari]
A man floated upside down in a tube and thought.
The two visitors were much more skilled than they had let on, the girl could create songs to disable programing from scratch and while only having a fraction of the materials and information that the original was made with. The boy had powers on par of level 4 if not slightly higher.
Concidering the strength they have and the analysis from tree diagram they could very well both be level 5s. That was a thought for later though.
In addition he had reports that a sister of the church and a mage from africa had made their way into the city. The sister was said to be the list of prohibited books so she would be left alone for now. The mage might have to be dealt with though.
A smile came over the man as he thought. Why not test the mage against the boy, it might prove interesting as it not only doesn't use his precious level 5s on a mage but it allows him to test the boy and try and pull from him the full extent of what he could do.
The smiling man continued to plan as night fully fell and most slept. The man didn't sleep though, he never did.
End of chapter, End of Arc
Well then, that is the level upper arc.
Joule will continue following the path of railgun while gunvolt deals with this new threat, likely the two will alternate chapters until the poltergeist arc begins unless I get bored or something comes up.
As of this moment, all I can ask for is comments and favourites and the like.
