[ACSR: battle area]

When it was foung that the trucks that Dr Kiyama's car was following were only decoys, a plan was made.

The team would split in half, Konori would take Uiharu and Saten to help Dr Kiyama. Gunvolt would run beside them.

Meanwhile Misaka and Joule would join Kuroko in a teleport to the destination to try and help the children before they got there.

As the first team approached the car they saw the truck's sides open and powered suits inside prepared to get out. GV then ran forwards, overtaking Kiyama's car before allowing his Flashfield to ignite. He ran past the trucks while shocking their contents.

Behind him the car braked suddenly. GV stopped running as Konori's bike caught up.

The bike slid to a stop and Uiharu and Saten got off. Uiharu looked at Dr Kiyama "The trucks are only decoys."

As Dr Kiyama looked on, the two girls together got into the passenger seat, Uiharu sitting on Saten's lap. Uiharu looked through the open driver's side door to Dr Kiyama as she explained the plan "I'll be your navigator." Saten looked up to and ordered "Now get it, you want to save the children don't you?"

Dr Kiyama looked up at GV who shrugged "I will be helping, running alongside." Dr Kiyama nodded to them all "Thank you for the help." before ducking back into her car which quickly accelerated. GV gave it a few seconds to get going before dashing to keep up.

Konori's role was mostly done, she still drove alongside though mostly to help communicate with Anti-skill.

GV looked back, starting to see some mostly undamaged suits come out of the wreckage. Luckily they were going to leave that wreckage behind.

As they moved, a pair of helicopters appeared from beneath the bridge that they were moving along.

Gunvolt looked up at them and grimaced, he couldn't take them out without revealing too much of his ability, "Was it worth it?" he asked himself.

Before he decided he noticed another bike moiving besides Konori's on it was a man and a girl in helmets. He couldn't tell who they were so when they both jumped off the bike and it soared into the helicopters to take them out he was shocked and slowed. Kornori stopped too so they were able to see Kongou remove her riding helmet "I did say I would help."

She had a smile on her face and nodded to her driver "You can head home," she then turned to Konori "I won't wreck your bike, may I ride with you?"

Konori nodded and Kongou got on. GV and the bike then raced to catch up with Dr Kiyama's car.

It only took a few moments to catch up. As they followed behind though Konroi noticed something. She looked back at Kongou "Hold on tight!" she ordered.

The ground cracked beneath them and while they shot closer to the car to get away, GV had been running behind them and had not heard the warning, so he was thrown off his feet. He quickly righted himself though and while he was in midair he took a breath and touched the ring that he wore.

He didn't like using it before combat started but decided to risk it to stop from being thrown off the bridge.

[ASG: Lightning Strikes]

As he focused, the air around him became charged. All he had to do was a single push like with his dashes. He created the opposite charge and flew, a perfect air dash, back towards the car where he could start running besides it again.

He looked inside the car where Uiharu and Saten were looking at him in shock, he waved before looking back at the giant yellow mech that now followed the car.

Konori had accelerated too, now she was slightly ahead of the car. Joule looked to her and Konori before thinking and slowing slightly so he could focus his attention on the mech.

Over a set of speakers installed in the mech he could hear the voice of Therestina "Come on, I want to see you run like your life is on the line! It does of course, better keep moving!"

GV looked over his shoulder to judge the distance before jumping, His landing was perfect and he was able to grab onto the mech's hips.

Therestina's annoyed voice came clearly from the speakers "Boy, you may be fast but this mech was made to withstand the electricity of Railgun, you won't be able to stop it."

Gunvolt knew she couldn't hear him but he spoke regardless "Really? I think you might be wrong about that."

He let his flashfield ignite but Therestina only laughed over the speakers "Nothing at all boy, this suit is insulated against electricity."

GV was annoyed but he might as well do this properly. The fact that the mech was insulated meant that he couldn't get enough material to perform a dashed wall climb on it but he didn't really need one. He took a breath before jumping in front of the mech.

He used his flashfield to hold him in the air long enough to chant "Lightning that flickers,"

Therestina's voice could be heard laughing as she prepared to punch.

"Like a star, and purges all"

The mech backed up out of range and GV cut of his Haiku with a swear "Jitt."

The fist of the robot flew towards him and his flashfield kicked in.

Therestina laughed "The fist is also not conductive, you are out of luck."

It flew and GV landed painfully on top of the car, he silently apologised to Dr Kiyama as he realised he would need something with longer range.

He closed his eyes and the mech approached again, switching out it's arm.

Dr Kiyama's car turned onto a diffrent bridge and after a moment Therestina swore "What do you mean Anti-skill is there?" A few more second passed and she continued "Why am I surrounded in incompetence?"

The mech accelerated and jumped to catch up with them before quickly shooting another arm that Kiyama barely dodged. and GV needed to slide down the window to stop from falling off.

[ASG: Streak ~ Eridu]

Therestina was yelling "It's a lost cause, give up already, you don't stand a chance! It doesn't matter how hard you try or how fast you run! You might as well pack up and go home! You will never save those brats I'll make sure of it"

"I won't stop," He could barely hear Dr Kiyama from inside her car "I swore that I would revive them. I have to try. A teacher doesn't just give up on her students just because things get tough!"

GV nodded and got back on top of the car to face down the mech.

"You fools!" Therestina crowed "You don't have any cards left to play now! Roll over and die!"

"No cards?" GV said in a mocking tone "You know nothing about me and you claim I have no cards?"

As the mech raised it's next arm to fire, GV took a breath

"Sacred sword agleam,"

The mech's arm began to fly.

"Barbarous and bathed in blue,"

It was only moments away and it was aimed only for him, GV leaped as Kiyama got the car out of the way.

"Cleaving right from wrong!"

As GV flew through the air towards the mech, the charge built in his hands. Behind him too the charge built and you an observer might think that he had spouted wings and was flying in truth.

The build charge in his hands grew and turned the air into blue plasma. The blue lightning grew, becoming a large sword.

"Luxcalibur!" GV cried out, the massive sword in his hands glowed.

Therestina's voice could be heard one last time from the mech in a panicked tone "What is this? It isn't in any data!"

GV lifted Luxcalibur high before bringing it down in a fatal strike. The mech was cut shoulder to hips as an explosion ripped through it.

GV landed as Kiyama's car stopped. They looked up at the wreckage for a moment before moving on. They would talk about it later.

GV saw that Lumen in butterfly form was sitting on his shoulder as he ran so he whispered to her "Go back to Joule, give her the good news."

The butterfly beat it's wings once before vanishing.

[ACSR: Sakubou]

Team two had reached the lab and Misaka had hacked them into it. The three of them had found their way to a control room but while Misaka was good at hacking it had taken them a while to locate the pods at the bottom of the facility.

Once they had made their way down though they saw Haruue who looked up from her pod in excitement. The three made their way towards the computer bank before Lumen showed up on Joule's shoulder. She stayed back from the others before she heard Lumen mutter to her "They defeated Therestina and will be arriving in a few minutes."

Misaka was looking at one of the computer monitors "This is a very complex system, why can't there simply be a 'Release pod' command?"

Joule looked up to roughly where the entrance of the lab would be "I'll wait for the others, maybe Dr Kiyama knows how to work it."

Misaka nodded as she kept looking "I'll see if I can figure it out but you might as well have a look."

Joule left to head up to the top of the lab. However when she was half-way up she saw a secret door open and a woman in a bulky suit walk out of it.

The woman looked at her and smiled. The woman was Therestina.

yes I am cutting it here, I refuse to write a 3000 word chapter due to my wanting to do more than write today.

it will grow that large if I did the entire episode. So yes, Railgun season 1 ends next week.
