If someone was to ask Morino Korisu if she was happy with her life, the answer would be a simple yes.

In fact, while at times she did feel like she would feel more by having a full family, especially since her mama had never brought up who her daddy was and this resulting in Korisu thinking that he didn't want her, the little blonde had learned through the few years that came from that topic that things weren't bad.

Mama was working a lot, yes, but she was doing that so that Korisu could get a happy life. She had dolls to keep her company, she was doing well at school, and now she made a few interesting friends that were weird at times but were nonetheless pleasant people to share experiences with.

Yet, out of all most recent developments, going further beyond to the mere idea of having 'superpowers', Korisu felt that meeting Eichi-ojisan was the best bit.

Her mama had always told her to be wary of older man, but Eichi-ojisan never did anything weird with her. In fact, he taught her about DnD, which was a fun game from which she could harness more of her powers. Unsurprisingly enough, Korisu learned how to be a good DM when it comes to games, sometimes even conjuring tales that were simple, childish, but engaging nonetheless.

She had to talk a lot through those games, but she enjoyed the feeling of being praised a lot even if it came at that drawback.

The headpats were pleasant, akin to those her mama gave her for good grades, yet there was something more to Eichi-ojisan that Korisu couldn't truly get early on. There was a different familial warmth to his care as it wasn't as delicate or tender as her mama and... it felt still pleasant and worthy of the same dedication the blonde would give to her mother.

The rewards were simple as usual, but the feeling was strong and pleasant.

Despite having spent less time compared to her 'allies' in the shop owned by Eichi-ojisan, Korisu had learned about most of the place's layout. She knew about the comics, the posters, the light novels, and the action figures. But while Korisu was a good girl and kept herself away from the very 'adult spot' that not even her older friends could access to, that didn't mean she didn't notice a few odd things.

One of those things came to be when a woman with a facemask on that covered her lower face and hat and sunglasses came out of the section bearing a cart with some of the booklets located within the 'adult spot'. Korisu had been distant by the counter at the time, playing with some magical girls' dolls when her eyes were taken fully by the sight of a rather unusual comic. One with a girl with her same petite frame, blonde hair and red eyes. She was wearing a skimpy outfit, cheeks flushed and a strangely delighted smile on her face.

Korisu frowned over the peculiar item, but waited for the client to rush away before calmly walking up to Eichi-Ojisan and ask about it.

Surprise flared upon the man's face as she inquired about it, instantly realizing the topic was quite forbidden for a child like her but... how come was a little girl in that comic?

Despite some reluctance which was prodded by Korisu's unexpected bout of brattiness to demand an explanation, Eichi-ojisan relented and gave her... The Talk.

For a girl as young as Korisu, this should have been a confusing topic. But for Korisu specifically this explained a lot of things. Eichi-Ojisan was quite careful to explain to her that the process of making babies could be pleasant, but it was also a big responsibility that a girl so young and underdeveloped should not be mind about.

She had flinched a bit over the woes of many poor girls like her that were targeted by real monsters, but she was most disgusted by the notion that pregnancies were meant for adults due to the complications those can have on a younger girl. It was where Korisu's intrigue of sex died for the time being, the blonde shelving it to a time where she was older. Perhaps when she was twenty, maybe older.

Still, the explanation was exhaustive and she thanked Eichi-Ojisan for explaining to her the matter itself. It wasn't perfect, but she could chalk it up herself on the rest of the details.

Now, this should have been the end of it, but Korisu made a surprising discovery after that day. It was as she returned home to get her homework done that she listened on a call between her mama and one of her friends.

"-Yes, I know. It's just... he was too handsy. I understand you think he would be a perfect fit, but I prefer to not be that open and he wasn't being any cordial about it. I... I know, But I have to think about Risu-chan too. I can't let a man like that around her."

Up to that point, Korisu thought that her mama, Morino Kimiko, had been looking for more friends. But after that talk with Eichi-Ojisan, her perspective had changed entirely.

Mama wasn't looking for friends- he was looking for a lover. A husband maybe and, by relation, a papa for her daughter! This explained so many bad moods her mama had after those flukes, and why she was still trying despite having many friends at work.

Thus, Korisu felt not only ashamed that she didn't pick up on this earlier, but also driven by filial love to try and help her mama out in finding the lucky man that not only could be her hubby, but also become Korisu's ideal papa!

As she took for her room, brainstorming on her own and involving her dolls for second opinions, Korisu realized that the ideal papa was already there and... he was free! All she needed to do was to plan the right time when to drag her mama at that place.

That came up during a Sunday. Usually mama would claim the entire day for herself, but there were times she would accept going out for a walk with her daughter.

"Risu-tan, where are you taking me?" The woman asked softly and with confusion dripping by her voice, her little daughter boldly grasping her hand and taking her to Korisu's ideal papa. Once they crossed the shop's door, it was all a matter of improvisation about explaining how she knew the place and... BAM! Mama was talking with Eichi-Ojisan about the time Korisu spent there, the fun she had, and even her newfound preference for DnD.

The older blonde was stunned, a bit nervous, but then mellowed the more she spoke with Eichi-Ojisan. She was soon smiling, and the two shared brief chuckles at poor Korisu's expense about a few mistakes she made early on with DnD. This sounded like another successful mission, but Korisu also realized she may have unintentionally put her mama in harm's way.

After all...

Utena-nee and Kiwi-nee were glaring daggers at Korisu's mama, which was definitely going to put the trio at odds with each other for the time being - like heck Korisu was going to let these dum-dums hurt her mama and her chance to get a papa!
