Plasma

[ACSRS: Saikyou wo shimesu mono]

Accelerator didn't move for a moment, he just lay on the ground. He was quiet for about ten seconds before he lifted his hand to the sky.

Suddenly there was a great blast of wind, GV and Misaka saw it affecting Touma more than them. The wind spun in a circle around Accelerator, placing him in the center of a small twister. Touma slid slightly on the ground, the wind buffeting him and threatening to knock him over.

Accelerator was making a strange sound like demented laughing or clearing a hairball and the wind grew in strength, pulling a heavy container to the ground. He let out a scream and the wind vortex increased, a wave of wind pushed GV and Misaka away but they used magnetism to hold on to a container near them. Even the containers were begining to be picked up by the vortex so they maneuvered themselves to safer boxes.

It was only then they noticed Touma was flying through the air in the vortex. His body smacked against a heavy metal pole before crumpling onto the ground, blood spilling in a pool around him.

"Is he..." Misaka began, her voice being pulled away by the wind. She stopped and cried out "No!"

Accelerator still lay on the ground and he seemed to be saying something but the wind was loud enough to drown him out. In the sky above him a strange purple light shone.

"Is that?" Misaka was pulling herself together and they both looked at the purple light. GV nodded "Plasma I think, though I don't fully understand how he is creating it."

Misaka looked at it a moment longer "He is compressing the wind, creating a large amount of heat. That heat is turning the gasses to plasma."

GV shook his head "That is absurd, somehow I believe you but if you are right then that is an enormous amount of energy."

They saw Accelerator standing up in the middle of the spinning wind.

"Could we help, asks Misaka 10032?" They both turned to see the sister unit make her way towards them slowly. While Accelerator yelled "What happened to all that spunk you had, come on get up! I need you to stick with me for a little longer here, okay? It's almost over now!" Misaka came up with a plan "He is compressing all the wind in the city into one point. Maybe, if we used all the windmills around town we could disrupt his calculations."

While 10032 nodded, GV looked confused "How would windmills alter the wind, they are passive power generators?"

Misaka shook her head at that "It is a small lie, most of the windmills can create power but in this city their true use is to regulate airflow throughout the city."

GV just looked more confused at that so Misaka went on "This city has a lot of tall buildings that make it hard for wind to get up to speed, the windmills can't create power from wind like that."

GV shook his head at that "This city is weird. Either way if you are right then this plan would work."

Misaka's expression turned dark "The problem is there are not enough of us, we would need to control over a dozen windmills for this to work."

At that 10032 raised her hand "We can do it, offers 10032 while vouching for the cooperation of the Misaka Network."

GV nodded "Then we will handle distracting Accelerator to give you time."

10032 ducked behind a crate with Misaka's help as she began to give out instructions.

[ASG: Sumeragi Skirmish]

GV stepped forwards "Accelerator!" he yelled.

Accelerator didn't respond he only slowly glanced backwards to take him in. He looked like he didn't care, not even a little.

"Don't... Don't do it." He heard Touma say while he lay on the ground. Good to know he was alive.

GV stepped closer still and tried to throw a knife, predictably the strong winds knocked it off course and Accelerator didn't even acknowledge it.

Fair enough then, GV ran closer.

"Lightning that flickers, Like a star, and purges all, That violate its realm!"

GV's hand shot out, directing the flow of power that was now rushing through him.

"Astrasphere!"

In a moment his body was covered in a massive ball of electricity, twice as large as his flash field.

It came closer to Accelerator and distorted. it was as if a soft sphere was pushed against a solid object. Astrasphere shattered and it's electricity joined Accelerator's plasma.

Accelerator looked annoyed at him "Did you honestly think that would work? You, insect, cannot hope to harm me!"

GV's face twisted to become a stranged smile "Let's test that. Sacred sword agleam, Barbarous and bathed in blue, Cleaving right from wrong!"

Accelerator turned his head "What exactly is this now?"

GV's arm swung, the blade of light appeared as he spoke the last word "Luxcalibur!"

In Accelerator's head was likely laughter after all, he had taken no damage from the insects first attack, why should this one be any diffrent?

He watched the blade come down and began pulling the plasma that formed the blade away. There was an oddly small amount of heat coming from the blade. Something like a cold welding torch. Either way as the blade was being pulled apart, GV completed the swing with the now broken blade.

Accelerator felt pain, a hot burning pain. He looked down in surprise. He was bleeding! The blade hadn't touched him, yet here was a cut. The blade was broken before it had even made contact so how was he cut? What Vectors? Where was the cut?

Accelerator kicked out in fury, GV tried to defend himself using prevasion but he was flung into the air with a broken arm and three broken ribs. When he then landed back on the ground he grit his teeth as a leg also broke.

Accelerator was clearly angry but he turned his attention back to plasma in the sky. His power would keep him from bleeding out anyway.

[ACSRS:Ketsui to kakugo]

"Amazing! It's like a part of my body! Like moving my own arms or legs! All of this air is under my control! So, fighting those who were stronger really was a shortcut to leveling up? Guess they were right all along!"

He laughed "Thanks you two! All of you have served your purpose well and now I am going to destroy you!"

Above him his plasma began to distort as if pulled in diffrent directions.

"How could this be happening now?" Accelerator asked in disbelief.

In this chapter: GV goes all out, manages to hurt Accelerator and then fails to use prevasion against him.

Note: Misaka couldn't help as her arm is still broken. Also we are finally getting near the end of episode 15!
