Something is wrong

[ACSRS: Pressure]

Joule and Saten ran back the way they had come before taking a sudden turn, Saten was shocked but Joule just said "I can feel her this way!"

"I didn't know you could track people?" Saten asked while breathing hard. "I did it during the bombing of seventh mist?" Joule answered weakly.

"Yeah, but we split up then. You could have told us you could then?" Saten pointed out before continuing "Is there anything else you can do that you haven't told us?"

Joule decided to go with the safe answer, if not the true one "Not really, I can talk to people and read minds, The tracking is just a trick I made based on mind reading."

Saten looked at her carefully before just running on with her. While they ran, Saten's phone buzzed. She checked it and answered with a quick "We are already on our way." There was relative silence for a moment as they ran before Saten answered a question posed at her over the phone "Joule realised it, did you know she knows how to track people with her ability?"

There was another pause before Saten spoke again "No clue, ask her yourself." before handing her phone to Joule.

Putting it up to her ear she could hear Misaka ask "Joule, can you tell me where Febrie is in relation to me?"

Joule spoke quickly "Give me a moment, I need to figure out where you are first." She felt out. She hadn't been lying to Saten before, she could look for minds to search for people. She created A mental wave that would reflect off Misaka's mind before tossing it out. She never felt it return but over the phone she could hear Misaka curse before saying "Sorry, I have an EM barrier in place to prevent telepaths from messing with my mind. I have it tuned to allow certain waves through but that wave was very strong."

"I understand, I'm sorry it needed to be strong to make sure there was no loss of power over a distance." Joule apologised before continuing "Did you curse when you first felt the wave?" Misaka replied with a quick yes.

Joule ran the calculations, she didn't know the directions but through time she could guess. She gave Misaka rough directions. On the other end of the phone, Misaka muttered something about already going that way and then ended the call.

They arrived just as Misaka was electrocuting some security robots that were going after Febrie. Somehow the Judgement members of their friend group was here as well, Joule suspected that either Misaka called them first or they had teleported over at the sound of the robots being zapped. Febrie teared up, having been so scared and ran in Misaka's direction. Unfortunately Joule and the rest of the friend group were standing behind Misaka who hadn't noticed them yet.

[ACSRS: Febri]

Lumen struggled hard to not laugh as Febrie ran straight past Misaka and hugged Saten who had knelt down to be at Febrie's level. Eventually she couldn't take it and burst out in a violent guffaw, in the process shifting into a more human form. Joule noticed how Misaka, Kuroko, Kongou (Who had been here at the start) and Febrie glanced around at that, looking for the source of the laughter. Luckily Lumen was wise enough to hide herself quickly in butterfly form so she wouldn't be spotted.

Eventually everyone had calmed down, Kuroko took the time to comment "So it has been quite and eventful day."

Uiharu nodded "I'm so glad nothing bad happened to Febrie."

Misaka bowed in apology to Saten "It was my fault for not watching her so carefully, I'm really, really sorry Saten."

Saten bowed right back "I should apologise too, please forgive me."

Misaka slowly asked "For what?"

Saten looked over to Febrie "Come on now, you made big sister Makoto very worried running off like that. You should say sorry too."

Febrie looked up at her before turning her gaze to Misaka.

"It's okay." Misaka took a few steps forwards and knelt down to Febrie's level. The two were still for a moment before Febrie slowly took the few steps forward towards her and hugged her. Febrie quietly said "I'm really sorry."

Of course the apology was immediately called into question when Febrie used the closeness to pick Misaka's pocket for the pink frog toy.

Having taken the toy, Febrie ran forward so Misaka was between her and the rest of the group. As she ran she turned back and happily thanked Misaka "Thanks Makoto, bye bye now."

Lumen probably would have laughed at this scene too if she hadn't been noticed earlier, she didn't want to risk it.

Misaka's shock turned to a smile and she gave Febrie a little more time to run before saying "Hey you! Get back here!" In an insulted tone of voice. She was still smiling though so it was clear she was playing along.

Febrie laughed as she continued to run. As they played Uiharu spoke "I knew they would be friends eventually, they just needed a little while. That's all."

Kuroko nodded "I'm glad to see them enjoying themselves."

Kongou spoke up then and Joule realised that her friends had not yet noticed she was there "Seeing them together really does make it worth all trouble I had to go through." Kongou was holding up her fan in a way that made it clear she honestly believed it was she who had made all this happen. Saten was chuckling.

Kuroko looked over at Kongou and said "Honestly? You're going to take all the credit? That isn't very graceful of you, downright petty in fact."

Kongou looked shocked and looked over, she wasn't angry merely worried that she wasn't as great as she thought "But I really was helpful this time, I swear. You just didn't see, that's all."

The two were back and forth a bit as the other's laughed.

Finally Saten checked her watch before exclaiming "It's only half past ten?" It seemed that there was still a long time left in this day.

Episode 19 done. Only 6 more episodes until the end of S, maybe then I could bring some Index in as Railgun T doesn't start until after the movie.
