At Avengers Campus, Carol and Rocket noticed that students were exhausted, lookijg like zombies makijg them worry in case something was very wrong seeing Shocket looking worried as Linda was affected making Rocket curious as why Shocket was full of energy unaware it was her Black Widow training, as Elena had taught her to stay awake for all night missions when she became a full Black Widow.
"Elena was teaching me how to function without sleep, only I'm worried about Linda as she's affected by this weirdness, probably Casey too." Shocket replied to him so he was askijg Strange if this was magic related, going to Strange's inner sanctum like classroom, making the sorceror supreme curious as to what was going on because his students seemed okay having the feeling their magic was defending them, makijg Rocket curious seeing Crystal who happened to be Casey's best friend hoping his niece was immune to what was happening like Shocket was which Crystal understood.
"Has Casey been acting strange like the other kids on campus." he asked.
"Yes she looked like a zombcoon when she woke up, I think somebody is using dark magic to steal students's sleep energy." she told him hearing commotion outside seeing students walking out like sleep zombies makijg him and Strange worried seeing Nightmare who was a powerful and magical foe of Strange opening a portal, seeing kids going throughout and Casey was with them, relieved seeing Shocket stop her seeing her staring at her cousin using her Black Widow skills tellijg her to bring Casey to the infirmary, so Banner could examine her to help them figure out, what the heck was going on hearing Casey yawning because she was tired which weirded Shocket out, because her cousin was always full of energy.
"Hey it's okay, we'll figure it out and get you along with everybody else back to normal." Rocket reassured her seeing Casey feeling tired lying on the examination table on her furry side which Rocket found sweet, seeing her glow makijg Rocket's eyes widen, her sleep was being taken from her seeing Shocket freaked seeing Crystal there realising a dark magical force in the campus, giving Rocket an idea looking at Shocket making her wonder what he was thinking, excited hearing he wanted her and Elena to do a stakeout jumping up and down excitedly which Rocket thought adorable and Casey smile while on Crystal's lap running off to get supplies.
"Somebody's excited about her first stakeout, da." Elena told Rocket.
"Yep, my little kit is growing up and becoming a Black Widow in training, please look out for her tonight oh breat, Ranger sent stuff from his farm on Half-World." Rocket said.
"Relax, she's becoming like a sister to me like I was to Natasha in the Red Room, Rocket plus she's becoming a skilled fighter." Elena replied.
"That's good and she's probably going to be up all night." he replied seeing Shocket dressed in his old trench coat with red shades over her eyes with his fingerless gloves on her paws making her look dangerous like the Black Widow she imagined in her mind.
"Come on, Elena let's go take the threat out," she said excitedly makijg Elena chuckle at her plus had brought snacks and Red Bull which impressed Elena, guessing the little kit had raided the fridge to get snacks seeing her smile at this.
"You want us, to evacute Avengers Campus?" Carol asked.
"Yep this weirdness that's affecting the students is affecting them, plus some have went missing, so yes unless you want parents to freak out." Rocket replied seeing the faculty agree unaware he already had a plan in motion to uncover the threat involving Shocket which Elena was helping with, plus Crystal had placed a protection spell on Casey so she could sleep a little without Mordu stealing her sleep from her knowing she might be out of commision in the superheroics for a while.
"I should tell Casey what the adults are saying, it'll stun her." she told herself goijg to her and Casey's room.
She found her best pal asleep on the giant bed they shared cuddlijg her Tom Nook plush making the magenta-furred girl smile guessing she could tell her what was happening Later hoping the adults would not evacute Avengers Campus, but understood if they did hearing alarms hearing Dean Carol's voice tellijg students that they were evacuating so Crystal was using her magic to pack, scooping a sleeping Casey up opening a portal goijg through appearing in outside New York knowing Casey had to live with her adopted human family taking her to Yumi's house which was not too far away hoping Rocket and the others could figure out what was going on, so everybody would be okay again seeing Yumianseer the door seeing Casey on the magenta-furred girl's shoulders knowing something had happened at Avengers Campus.
"Yes and Rocket told me to bring Casey here, you are her adopted human right." Crystal told the girl seeing her nod letting Crystal in seeing her put Caseyon the couch deciding to leave for now before her own family worried.
