"Why is Shocket and the other kids excited, that the announcement about the Avengers Internship Test." Casey mumbled which made Crystal understand wondering if her best pal would be taking the test seeing her shrugging her furry shoulders.
"I don't think I should, besides Shocket is probably going to ace it and inherit uncle Rockie's mantle when she's older, besides I wanna help you with your move to Strange Academy." Casey replied.
"Ohhhh okay, thanks buddy." Crystal told her.
"Hey you, we have To talk, about the test." Shocket said.
This made Casey frown, guessing what her cousin wanted to talk about feeling Crystal squeeze her paw before seeing her goijg with Shocket asking her why she wasn't taking the test making her anxious, as her cousin would not understand why as she wasn't sure if she could pass, what Shocket didn't know was Casey had taken the test before and never gotten into the program, which Rocket knew about every time she tried so was okay with her not taking the test this time.
"Really, you've taken the test before, is it really hard." Shocket asked her.
"Yes I have and it's really hard, plus the final part involves the simulator and facing your fear which is the part I fail." Casey told her surprising her, guessing her powers activated during the simulator part of the test seeing Casey nod.
"Okay but thanks for the info, maybe you should try one more time." she told Casey.
"Nope, besides we know you're gonna be the next Rocket Raccoon in the family so that's okay with me." Casey told her leaving the room going to join her friends in the lunchroom making Crystal wonder if Casey was okay, wondering what Shocket wanted, hoping it was not something mean.
"She wanted me to take the test again, after I told her what it entailed." Casey said digging into pasta and meatballs relieving the magenta-furred goblin girl seeing Linda and Shocket with their friend-group guessing they were all talking about the test which was happening this afternoon.
"So, Shocket and the other kids are taking the big test, as your uncle told me you've taken the test a couple of times." Pupia said to Casey as they were bonding together having ice-cream.
"Yeah, I have and flunked so I decided not to take it this year, even though Shockie was bugging me to take it." she replied to her making Pupia understand because Rocket had explained to her.
When they returned to the compound, they saw the other kids had finished taking the test making Casey hope Shocket was okay, especially with the simulator part knowing what her and Linda's worst fear was.
"I think they did okay, judging from the looks on their faces." Pupia assured her.
"I hope so, and that Shocket gets in, she's uncle Rockie's fur and blood." Casey replied.
Pupia frowned at her kit's statement, seeing her go find Crystal seeing Rocket wonder what was happening and made him understand that Casey was very aware that she was his niece and that Shocket was his kit even though he made her feel like she was part of the family.
