"You think this is a good idea dad, you know how Casey is around other kids, unless it's Bree or Crystal, you think Gwen will befriend her." Shocket asked.
"I know Casey has grouble making friends with other kids but she can't help it, plus Gwen's part of Team Spidey so this could work, it might encourage her to talk to Asgardian kids when we go." Rocket said while they were working on a WWEB project together which was perfect dad-kit time for them.
Because Casey was mildly socially anxious around other kids despite having awesome super-powers and a friendly personality, Rocket had wanted to try and encourage her to make friends, so had arranged a play-date with Gwen Stacey otherwise known as Ghost-Spider only he was keeping it a surprise knowing Casey would get anxious if he told her, which Shocket thought a good idea unless Casey's powers activated which sometimes caused trouble which made her feel bad hoping Gwen would be different.
"Cool, you guys are making something awesome." Casey said.
"Yes but it's for when school starts." Shocket replied.
That's weird, as Shockie never worried about homework before, ohhhh she got into a certain program at school that's why and dad, uncle Rockie I mean is helping as he likes doing this stuff with her, like helping me with my power-practice only he must know what the surprise is but he won't tell even if I asked.
"Umm cuz you alright, you spaced-out there." Shocket pointed out to Casey.
"Y-Yeah sorry about that, I'll just leave you be." she replied leaving them.
"I really hopethis play-date goes smoothly, I worry about her." Rocket murmured.
"Yeah like lunchtime at school, she eats by herself." Shocket added.
They were unaware Casey had heard this, being unseen through her invisiblty-power her eyes widening in anxiety realising the surprise was a play-date knowing it would end in epic disaster like what always happened when her uncle did this, getting ready breathing deeply like she learnt in class.
"Casey, get ready okay." Shocket said entering Casey's room.
"For the play-date uncle Rockie set up you mean." Casey snapped.
"I had a feeling hou overheard, relax it's gonna bedifferent, trust us, uncle Rockie found a kid who won't flip if your powers activate, just like Bree and Crystal." Shocket reassured her making Casey on alert as her cousin left her room.
"Is she okay, after finding out, I don't hear her." Rocket said worried.
"Hey Mr Rocket is Casey here, I'm ready for our play-date." he heard Gwen ask, showing up in her Ghost-Spider outfit impressing him and Shocket, but also Casey appearing from out of nowhere impressing Gwen.
"Hi there I'm Gwen and you must be Casey, do you have powers." Gwen said.
Casey felt nervous about this, in case she might be afraid of her if she showed her, what she could do with them, seeing Gwen curious makijg her guess she could try seeing her eyes widening in awe relieving Casey explaining about her powers which she understood as they were having fun relieving Rocket along with Shocket, as they were hoping this would go well, while making snacks for them seeing Shocket grin.
"So, your play-date went good, judging from your reaction." Shocket asked Casey.
"Yeah, Gwen wasn't afraid of my powers like I thought, after I explained." Casey replied.
It was early-evening so Casey and Shocket were hanging out while Rocket was doijg something with either the other Avengers or the Guardians, plus Shocket was texting Linda making Casey understand, knowing how her cousin wanted to hang out with her soulmate so was leaving her be.
