"You okay uncle, why so frantic, did you lose something." Casey asked.
"Yes honey something like that, but don't worry as I'll fijd it." Rocket replied.
He'd just woken up from an nap and had taken his proesthic tail off before falling asleep and when he'd awoken, it was gone freaking out in case anybody noticed or made fun of him so hadn't told any body even Casey and Emily, but Shocket knew because he'd told her or shown her.
"Dad you okay, oh my Groot you don't have your tail, we need to find it." Shocket said hearing Emily screaming and Casey there, thinking she was in danger her eyes wide seeing Emily had found Rocket's tail making Rocket embarrassed swiping it from Emily scampering off so he could clean it off before he put it back on hoping he had not freaked anybody out like Emily guessing Casey was curious.
"R-Really you're curious about my tail, not freaked out." Rocket told them.
"Uh-huh it's cool, but is that normie, for it to do that." Casey asked him.
"I was in a great battle and didn't come out so good, but my tail had to be removed and a proesthic tail added which I take off at night, then put it back on in the morning but yes, Gamora knows and I told her just like I'm telling you right now." Rocket explained to Casey and Emily impressijg them.
Gamora joined them, as she and Rocket were soulmates now which add Emily happy along with Casey happy yet Shocket was unsure of her knowing she made her dad happy so tolerated her yet found her dad's prosethetic tail cool relieved that he'd gotten it back.
"Okay guys, it's almost bedtime and you have to do calming things." Gamora told Casey, Emily and Shocket which Casey and Emily were okay with only Shocket was annoyed as she loved playing video-games especially Minecraft as it was more creative than Fortnite so found a loophole in those bedtime rules, if she put her headphones into her Switch, then Gamora and her dad wouldn't hear it so she wouldn't get in trouble.
"Perfecto, and nobody would guess." she said playing Minecraft.
"Shocket yougetting ready for bed yet, are you playing games." Gamora asked checking on her seeing her doing so, making Gamora sigh knowing this would happen if she and Rocket had bedtime rules, knowing she and Rocket had to have some extra talks with Shocket about this.
"Just get ready for bed, alright, we'll talk about it in the morning." Rocket told her as he was joining Gamora for bed in their room taking off his prosethic tail putting it on the bedside table before climbing into bed beside her, hoping Shocket would get some sleep.
"Don't sweat it, Gammy we'll get through to her." Rocket assured her.
That next morning, Casey had returned from another night of patrolling as Raccoon Girl but noticed Shocket looked like a zombcoon, wondering what the heck she'd been doing as their parents were making breakfast seeing Gamora and Rocket exchange a look making Emily guess their parents wanted to talk to her sister, about why they had bedtime rules.
"We're not being mean, or trying to stomp on your fun with our bedtime rules but a lot of the things you love doing like playing video-games, watching movies alomg with eating junk food makes that genius brain of yours so excitable, it tells your body we don't need sleep and just not sleep, but then in the morning you're like this feeling like a zombcoon, I think you get it now, right." Rocket explained to her.
Shocket nodded in reply, as her dad made her some coffee to help her wake up a bit plus would nap for a bit before going to hang out with Ducky and her friends, Firestar and Gravity as she lived with them, but sometimes stayed over at her parents's house and told her dad about her adventures with Petal, her female Groot saplijg's help seeing Petal on Rocket's shouldet worrying about her mommy, as Rocket understood.
