An aftershow

[ACMItM: Memories - Movie Version]

After Arisa's show, the group planned to try to talk to her.

The pass that allowed them to use the elevator also allowed them to get close to the preparation area.

From where they sat, they could see the area and watched as even after the show was over there was still a lot of work to do.

Arisa saw them just as they saw her. With a smile she came into the side hall that connected to the lift.

"Hey everyone."

"Hi." "Hello." "How are you?" A collection of greetings were returned to her as Arisa smiled warmly.

"Did you enjoy the show."

Saten pumped a fist and answered brightly "Yes! It was amazing!"

Joule nodded too "You were excellent."

Arisa's smile grew brighter.

They all chatted for a bit before Saten brought something up.

"Hey, want to have dinner with us? It's getting late after all."

"I'll need to check with the staff," Arisa noted "but if I can, I would like that."

She did go and check and came back with an affirmation.

As they left the venue, Arisa explained the reasoning.

"I'm going up Endymion tomorrow so I won't have another chance to do something peaceful for a few days."

Saten tilted her head slightly and asked "I thought the show was in two days time?"

Nodding, Arisa explained "It is, but I need to get used to the different gravity if I am going to be jumping around on stage."

"That makes sense," Misaka said as they left through the front doors "have you not practiced though, I thought Academy City had things to train in altered gravity?"

Arisa shrugged "They had me see if I felt okay in freefall but no actual training."

As they continued to walk they heard another pair of voices.

"Hey there." "Hi Arisa."

It was Touma and Index. They had been sitting on a bench on the side of the path and were now waving to the group. Rather, Index was waving. Touma was just smiling.

"Touma, Index, how are you." Arisa gave a wave back to Index and the two of them joined the group.

"You were amazing Arisa." Index spoke energetically.

"Thank you. Were you both in the crowd, I'm sorry I didn't see you."

"We were." Index nodded "I wanted to get those stick things that everyone else had but Touma refused to get any."

"I was worried you'd try and eat one." Touma muttered under his breath.

"Speaking of food," Index seemed to ignore what Touma actually said and focused on him mentioning her eating "are you all planning to eat somewhere together? Can we come?"

"Uh?" Misaka seemed like she didn't know how to respond to that, she glanced at Touma and then at Arisa before speaking.

"Maybe n-"

Before she finished speaking, Touma's phone rang.

"Hello?" He didn't check the phone before answering and stepped away from the group.

The rest of them paused to try and listen in.

Touma sighed in response to something said by the person on the other end of the line.

There was another pause before Touma replied to something "What about it?"

The response must have been short because Touma reacted suddenly "What do you mean?"

A few moments passed before finally Touma nodded "Fine, I'll come."

He ended the call and turned to see everyone watching him.

"Nothing important," Touma lied "a friend just wants me to... help him study."

Index's face radiated disbelief but Touma just shook his head "Don't worry about me, you all can go together. Just stay safe."

Misaka seemed to have mixed feelings about Touma not eating with them but Index didn't seem to care. The food drew her.

She led the group on a merry adventure, looking for the right place to eat. There was merriment in all of their hearts.

Well, some of them were trying to hold back laughter but that didn't bother Index.

As darkness began to fall, they were stopped by a voice.

"Hello there. Are you all looking for a place to eat?"

A young woman in a waitress uniform. She was standing outside of a small restaurant and she was waving.

"Yes?" Kuroko answered warily.

The waitress smiled "You can eat here if you haven't before. It's very good."

Kuroko spoke quietly "This feels like a scam of some sort."

Regardless, Index spoke next "What sort of food do you have."

The waitress hesitated for a moment before answering "Everything! Well, everything a normal restaurant has at least."

"Then yes!" Index took the decision from them all.

"Well, there's probably no harm in it." Uiharu noted.

They all followed Index inside and the waitress moved two tables together to fit them all.

Index took a seat at the metaphorical "Head" of the table, everyone else took the other seats.

"Now," The blond waitress asked "what do you want to have?"

End of chapter.

This and the last chapter are less than a minute and a half of the movie. I'm getting back to the main stuff next chapter but I hope these chapters have been fine.
