Misaka does some cleaning

[ACSRT: Why Is Misaka Mikoto Here!?]

"You asked?"

Misaka looked at the man standing over Junko.

Kuroko had teleported her in and now it was only a matter of getting the little princess out and drilling her for everything she knew.

"Why is she here?" The man asked quietly. He quickly steadies himself and pulls out a gun "If you move from there, she dies!"

Misaka gave a sigh. Stopping him from firing was entirely with her capacity. Might as well get some information from him while waiting.

Now, all she needed to do was distract him. When she had done this to the guy in study, she had waited for him to close his eyes. She needed a similar window and she knew just how to make it.

"Oh?" She tried to mimic a little of the haughty air of Misaki as she went for her pocked "If I move from here?"

The man froze, understanding the implication before yelling "If that coin comes out, I'll pull the trigger."

Well, that was one window created. Kuroko had moved from behind her and teleported again. She now stood a few meters behind the man.

As his attention was focused on Misaka, Kuroko was able to sneak up to get Junko out of danger.

Misaka just forced a smile, putting up a front that she was the danger here. Let a few small arcs of electricity arc in order to keep him looking at her, watching for her attack.

Now that Kuroko was close enough, time to give her the opening to get the final streach done. Misaka's hand left the pocket empty and showed that to the man.

"Do I really need to use my finishing move on a human. That would be quite gross." True, and imagining it made her want to throw up.

The man flinched "You-"

"Too late." she said with a smile and the man turned just as Kuroko teleported Junko away.

Now all that was left was the young man. Misaka strolled towards him slowly as he pulled up the gun and tried to shoot her. A magnetic field deflected the bullets. He seemed to notice the problem before the third shot so he turned to run. Misaka went low and used another field to propel herself forwards, tackling him to the ground and placing a hand around his neck.

"If I feel a prick," she warned "I'll pump you full of electricity."

He tried to nod "Okay, okay, I surrender."

Misaka nodded "Now, tell me who you work for."

[ACSRT: These Girls]

Junko watched as Misaka walked back to them, her face a thundercloud.

"What is it?" Kuroko asked "What have you learned."

"He worked for the Board of Directors." She said quietly.

Junko gasped while Kuroko grunted "Well, that's annoying."

"Where was he meant to bring you if he caught you?" Junko asked, tilting her head slightly. The numbness wasn't fading but she was able to use her ability to move slightly.

Misaka sighed "A building in School District 2. I was heading there next. Kuroko?"

"Ready." The teleporter gave a nod as she spoke and Junko reacted "Take me with you!"

Kuroko looked down at her on the bench as she spoke firmly "Even if I didn't personally dislike you, there are enough reasons not to take you along. You are nearly paralysed, you helped Misaki trap Misaka and-"

"Stop Kuroko." Misaka requested before looking and Junko "In your current state, you'd only make things harder. We'll bring you back to the clique before we head off."

Junko looked up, disbelief and a note of frustration in her voice "Do you really think it's a good idea to go to the building that they were trying to bring you too?"

Misaka shrugged "Well, I'm able to defend myself now and to protect myself from sneak attacks. Plus, this guy was apparently the only one who could control those bugs properly."

With that said, Junko allowed Kuroko to teleport her back.

She hoped those two would stay safe though.

Misaka looked up at the building in district two. It looked like any other building but this was the place.

The door had been broken into, it looks like they weren't the first group here.

Her phone buzzed. A message from GV with the location that Uiharu said she was. She also had said that they were under attack.

Oh, and it just so happened that it was the same building. What a shock.

Everything was lining up to put something in this building at the heart of whatever was going on.

Misaka was going to find out what that was.
