[ASMI: Impatience]

The funnel was strange. As Joule saw Hokaze stumble, she couldn't feel any pull on her own body.

"What is it?"

As she spoke though, she saw the ghost girl get pulled. She had been tethered to Hokaze but now she was being pulled up and away.

"Lumen!"

"There's no time!"

Besides, there was still no "one clear goal", not if they had no idea what was happening.

"Junko!" The ghost girl managed to yell out "I'll be okay!"

The winds gathered closer, becoming a sphere of black winds and then fading away in cubic patches.

In that moment, there was silence. No one really understood what had been the trigger or the effect. But now the ghost girl was gone.

Hokaze didn't fall, she turned. Facing everyone before finally looking at her queen.

"Queen, can I ask something of you."

Shokuhou looked briefly surprised but she then simply smiled "Didn't I tell you? Bring it on."

She grinned then and shrugged "Then again, all we can do for now is gather information so I will handle it. I order you to stay out of it until I've got something."

"But-" Hokaze looked worried and a little sad.

Her queen just shook her head though "Don't worry about it, get yourself back in top form first."

Then Shokuhou turned "Sogiita, Joule, Saten- I want your help for this."

Part of Joule was curious when Shokuhou learned Saten's name but she had likely memorised it at some time in the past. Other than that though-

"Naturally."

"I'll do what I can."

"Yeah!"

As Hokaze stood there, Shokuhou pointed a remote at Sogiita "First off-" She didn't click the button, she simply asked "Sogiita, you noticed something just before the storm didn't you? What was it?"

"A light. Or maybe some kind of gas." He said, "it's coming from a lot of people's heads recently. They tend to be more violent."

He looked around and nodded "It's coming from most of you too. Just before the storm appeared, it looked like the light was gathering behind you all, in the same place the storm would appear."

"Violent?" Joule asked "Like the people affected by the evil poker cards?"

Shokuhou nodded quickly, ideas forming.

"Sogiita, think about some of the times you've seen it, I'll grab your surface memory of it so I can show others."

She did and passed it around.

Yes, a memory of people attacking others. Sogiita hitting them to stop the attacks. More scenes of crowds with lights. Some of the people in the crowds...

"Cards."

It didn't answer everything but Shokuhou explained her theory.

"The cards could be spreading the idea of the girl. That idea of her might be the source of the light, we all generate it too because we've been in close contact with her at one time or another."

Hokaze, Shokuhou and Saten had all been possessed by her at one time or another. Shirai hadn't been but Sogiita's memory didn't show any light above her. Joule had been connected via Lumen and Hokaze to her.

It was the least solid link but apparently it was enough.

Finally, Shokuhou laid out the plan "We're going to look for her real body, we have more information now."

Hokaze stood up and nodded "Her real name is Yuuri Senya, She was at Clone Dolly with the rest of us."

Us being her, Shokuhou, Yumiya and Mitsuari.

Shokuhou nodded "With that in mind, we can search for her real body. Wherever it's been hidden, if we can find and wake her, I think we can end this whole situation."

Shirai ended up taking Hokaze back to the dorms to clean herself up while the rest of them got started on their hunt.

Information was given to Uiharu so she could start searching the databases, Saten was going back to asking about the evil cards and Joule became part of Shokuhou's ground team due to Lumen's ability to search for Yuuri's AIM fields in the hospitals they visit.

Misaka somehow hadn't got caught up in this search. Even if her entire friend group was. Strange.

Eventually though, Uiharu found something.

The message went to Shokuhou and then to the rest of them.

"The place you helped me at." Shokuhou said "The place that we saw the level 6 shift attempt."

She didn't want to say its name out loud, not over the phone at least.

Kuroko was already transporting Shokuhou there so Joule had to find her own way there.

Via train. She'd probably be the last person there.

While she'd be delayed though, she ended up calling in someone who could get there faster than her.

"Do you mind?"

"Of course not." Gunvolt said.

A bit short but this pair of manga chapters have a lot of events going on in very different places (At at least a good part of them is explaining the villains' motives as they talk to each other)

Since Joule wouldn't see that, she has to do this.

The reason Misaka isn't involved BTW is that Kuroko is trying really hard not to let her know. The deal she made with Shokuhou embarrasses her too much.
