Midoriya is so excited to make dinner tonight! It's his turn after all and he is quite proud of himself for learning how to cook pretty well for himself, thanks to Kacchan taking time to show him and the others that didn't know how to cook to do so. The only problem though is that he has been stuck in this kitchen by himself for the past few minutes cause most of the ingredients he needs are so high up.
Midoriya doesn't want to ruin anyone's relaxation in the other room by asking for help-translation: "I also don't wanna admit I am short by asking others for help." So he decides to open the cabinets as step one, which of course went well. Step two is much harder since he needs to tiptoe to reach up high... annnd he still can't reach it.
Midoriya is starting to wonder who made these cabinets so large and far away from normal people heights. Because yes, he is at a perfectly normal height thank you! Midoriya hops up and groans when his finger tips only pushed the panko breadcrumbs back further away from himself.
Midoriya keeps trying and trying and trying until he has worked up a bit of a sweat and lets out a frustrated groan. Catching the attention of one specific person in the next room, "Midoriya, is everything alright in here? You didn't cut your fingers did you?"
Midoriya jumps at the sound of Yaoyorozu's voice behind him suddenly. "Ah! Y-Yeah, everything is going great here Zuzu-chan!"
Yaoyorozu holds back a smile when she sees Midoriya on his tiptoes and sits on one of the chairs that is pulled up to the island. "Are you sure Midoriya? Nothing is wrong?"
"Y-yeah! I just gotta reach the panko crumbs... and the salt... and the pepper... and -sighs- and the flour."
Yaoyorozu stands up and puts her hand on Midoriya's shoulder, giving a giggle as she gently moves him to the side, "I'll reach them for you. You said you were making tonkatsu tonight right? Why don't you go grab the ingredients from the fridge."
Midoriya smiles up at the kind, beautiful, gorgeous and sisterly girl and goes to get the egg from the fridge along with the green cabbage (whoo! What an achievement!). Midoriya is so happy that Yaoyorozu isn't mean enough to mention his height and how much he struggles with things. Midoriya and Yaoyorozu start preparing the Tonkatsu and rice for dinner with Midoriya silently thanking Zuzu for her help and patience.
Yes, I am saying that Midoriya calls Yaoyorozu "zuzu" and maybe someone has written that before, but I haven't read it! XD Once again I hope you all enjoyed? Everyone stay safe, happy, healthy and of course lovely as always.
