Author notes : This is set shortly after the Saving Arashi part.

Guy Sensei wanted his team to meet at their usual training spot and tasked them to pack for about a week. Lee was very curious where they were heading for the mission. He excitedly packed his belongings.

Neji was already there when Lee arrived at the training grounds.

"I can't wait to know what our mission consists of! Aren't you excited?" Lee said. Neji looked at him with his usual It's too early for this shit look.

"Morning my strong youthful pupils! Do you know if my beautiful flower is on her way? We are also doing this mission with someone else, so I'd like to leave on time."

"Guy Sensei! I didn't see her yet this morning," Lee said.

He turned around and spotted Tenten coming from afar. "Oh, there she is!" Lee said to his sensei before screaming, "We're here!" and starting to make big hand signs, in case she had not seen them.

Neji rolled his eyes. "She probably can see you if you see her, and people are sleeping, don't wake the whole neighborhood."

"I'm not screaming!"

Neji shook his head. Guy Sensei was as enthusiastic as Lee was, smiling as Tenten made her way closer.

He took out a scroll with a map on it. Lee stretched out to have a better look on it, and noticed it seemed to be a map of the sea, with islands on it. He faked a smile. He wanted to let his sensei talk and explain the mission, but he felt his stomach knotting. Please, no boats, please, no boats.

They were going to an island on which grew a type of flower known for its healing abilities. Shizune and Lady Tsunade were coming with them, to help identify the flowers. Both women appeared. While Lee expected Tonton to be with them, Tsunade also had a pig in her hands.

"Pigs are good with smelling the flower, so it'll be easier if we have guides."

Lee made a big smile. Traveling with Lady Tsunade and Shizune was fun, he was sure of it. Tenten immediately took one of the pigs, petting it.

"It's Tsubane's pig, so if you want to take care of it, you can," Tsunade explained. "But make sure not to lose him, because she will get mad."

Lee didn't recall anyone named Tsubane at all, and his confused face probably caught Neji's attention.

"She was in Lady Hinata's graduating class. She is teammates with Arashi and Sai. I think I heard Hinata mention that you are teaching her, Lady Tsunade?"

Tsunade nodded. "So, those islands. Lord Hokage mentioned he had arranged a boat for us. They expect our team to be at the harbor in three days."

Lee tried his best keeping a straight face as they passed the village gates. He hadn't yet taken a boat in this life, but if it was anything like his previous life, he wouldn't like it at all. But Guy Sensei was looking confident, so he had to as well.

There was one thing Lee knew about himself: he was dangerous when he didn't feel well. He recalled that time he accidently got drunk and beat the shit out of that ninja. Or the training on a boat he and Guy did, developing the seasick fist. It was just as powerful as the drunk fist. But Lee didn't want it to happen during their mission.

Guy Sensei was talking with Shizune, leading the group. Tenten was behind him, chatting with Lady Tsunade. Which left Neji and Lee at the end of the line. Neji didn't look as confident as Lee pretended to be.

"I do not look forward to this mission at all."

"Why is that, Neji?"

"You and Guy. Does he not know yet how sick he's about to be?"

Guy Sensei hadn't time-traveled like Neji, Tenten and Lee had. Maybe he hadn't been on a boat yet in this timeline. But his students had all heard the rumors from Naruto in their other life: Guy did not do well on boats. And Lee knew it was a fact due to one particular training with his sensei.

"By any chance, you haven't thought of bringing plastic bags with you?" Lee asked Neji, still faking his smile.

"Had I known, I would! Did you?"

"No. Damn it."

"I hope you'll behave." Neji added, while an annoyed tone laced his voice. "If I recall when you told us about your seasick fist training, I prefer not to be there if it happens. Or don't take me as a target at least. I really hope Lady Tsunade thought of bringing some nausea medicine for you guys."

"She doesn't know, she didn't travel through time," Lee whispered. He was not usually good at keeping his voice down, but he couldn't risk the women or sensei hearing. "Thought it would have been nice if she did time-travel, because she knew back then Guy hated being at sea. No way Kakashi or Yamato did not mention that in their report. Kakashi likes teasing Guy sensei too much."

Neji started to laugh, showing his first smile of the day.

They progressed in the forest, until it became hills, and then dunes. Faster than Lee wanted it to be, they were on the dock, looking at the boat.

Guy Sensei looked as confident and enthusiastic as always, so Lee copied him, faking a happy face, like everything was alright. He tried pretending his stomach was not knotted and twisting. Just seeing the waves was enough to trigger some discomfort. Not enough to get sick, but enough to know it would happen probably as soon as they boarded the ship.

"Off to a great adventure we go!" Guy sensei said, encouraging them. Probably himself as well, since his students knew his secret.

Lee spotted that Tenten had an apprehensive look. Neji didn't look more convinced.

"What's wrong with the two of you?" Lady Tsunade asked, looking at both of Lee's teammates. "You are looking at the boat as if it would eat you, are you afraid?"

"No!" Neji immediately said, snorting, holding a laugh. "I do well with motion, usually."

Neji peaked a look at Lee, which opened his mouth in disapproval. Did he really have to throw him under the bus like that?

"Hey there, don't make those faces. It's a bright sunny day, there's not much wind, it's going to be a great boat trip!" Guy sensei said.

Tonton oinked, looking as unsure as Tenten. Shizune was already on the boat, waiting for everyone else to join. Lee was the last one in, trying to subtly delay when he had to face his fears. Neji had a mocking smile.

The swaying movement immediately triggered Lee. He kept his fake smile, but he was sure his teammates could see his face paling. He took deep breaths. He knew when he was sick he tended to lose control, so he had to keep his stomach calm.

Neji saw Lee turn pale and he was still standing on the dock. He grumbled. Neji had a bad feeling this mission would end very badly. Just the little wave hitting the boat seemed to trigger Lee's stomach. Guy sensei didn't look like he was feeling bad, but he was so often over-enthusiastic that he could be faking his best smile at the moment. The good news was that he was not yet as green as his jonin vest.

They left the harbor, and Neji could feel the tension in Lee's body. After fifteen minutes, Lee changed places, going to the side. Tenten approached Neji. She kept looking over Lee, with worried eyes.

"He's going to be sick, isn't he?"

"It seems he will. Hopefully, he doesn't embarrass all of us."

Tenten shrugged. Neji and her were used to Lee and Guy's extravagant attitudes, but even after years of working together, it still got on their nerves sometimes. Today was one of those days. Tenten and Neji got along very well in their team, and it was mostly because Guy sensei did have favoritism for Lee. And Lee was obsessed with anything Guy said or did.

Tenten seemed to be about to say something when Guy almost pushed her out of his way, joining Lee, hand over his mouth. Neji sighed. Please tell me the time-travel canceled the effects Lee seems to have when he's sick, was all he could think. Lee was already not feeling great, so Guy puking next to him would be his end.

"Have those two been sick on boats before?" Shizune asked.

"Well, we've never been on a mission that involved one, so I had no idea," Neji lied. It was true in this timeline.

Lee started to agitate. And as soon as Guy finished throwing up his breakfast in the ocean, he seemed to react the same way. There was no way to escape the Seasick Fist, uh?

Lee and Guy started fighting against each other, and the boat was not very big. It made it hard to avoid their sudden attacks, especially that the worse they felt, the more unpredictable they became. Neji was tempted to use one of his clan jutsu to bring them back to their senses, but he was afraid it would have the opposite effect, and the boat was so small he risked sending everyone into the water if he miscalculated just slightly.

"What the hell is going on?" Lady Tsunade asked. She looked very pissed.

Tonton and the other pig both oinked, trying to get back into their master's arms. They didn't want to end up thrown into the ocean, or so badly injured they'd be good as a meal.

Tenten rolled her eyes. "I know Lee acts weird when he's not feeling great. I didn't know Sensei did as well. I guess they'll stop when we reach the land, or if they end up too sick to fight. Or maybe if…" she suddenly stopped talking to avoid a kick from Guy sensei. "If we find a way for them to fall asleep?"

Neji loved Tenten's idea, but how did they get them to sleep?

Because Lee didn't use his chakra to fight, and so did Guy right now, Neji couldn't even try to use his clan techniques to close his chakra points. It would be completely useless, and Neji wasn't sure he'd be able to match their movement to successfully perform it without getting his own butt kicked. He didn't want to injure them either, so knocking them out was out of the question.

"Lady Tsunade, do you have anything that could help them?" Tenten asked. "Or Shizune?"

"They're like that because they're feeling sick, you say?" Tsunade asked.

"I have many tricks to get people very sick or kill them, but nothing to help us in this situation. It would either make it worse, or paralyze them for the whole mission, which won't be much help," Shizune said.

"I wonder if Katsuyu…" Tsunade said.

Tsunade decided to summon her slug, but in a small version, so the boat they were on wouldn't sink. It was worth trying. But as soon as the summon approached Guy sensei, he kicked it away, making it disappear into the water.

"Guy, we're trying to help you! Can you please stop moving for just a second?" Tsunade shouted at him. She turned to Neji, Shizune and Tenten. "We're going to have to immobilize them. Neji and I will take care of Guy sensei, Shizune and Tenten would you immobilize Lee?"

Tenten took out her scrolls. Neji knew she had a few weapons that were attached to ropes or chains. Neji nodded in approbation.

"I'll try to surround them with those chains, just be careful not to get in my way and I'll do my best to get the winds to help and not get you injured instead."

Tenten succeeded in tying Lee with it, and Shizune, Tonton and the other pig immediately went to help tighten the grip to prevent any movement. Guy sensei, on the other hand, threatened to open some of his gates.

"Come on, Guy, it's time to stop fighting!" Shizune immediately reprimanded him.

Guy was partially immobilized, his hands and chest were, but he had not let them tie his feet together. Neji knew it was now his turn, temporarily blocking all the chakra points he could. Guy didn't use them that often, but Neji knew he was able to, preventing him from doing that was just precautions. Neji just had to avoid Guy kicking him.

Katsuyu had already helped Lee, whose face was now returning to its normal color. He stared at his friends in confusion. The slug cloned itself and approached Guy sensei. Neji was thankful their nightmare was over.

"Lady Tsunade, when our mission is over on the island, do you mind summoning Lady Katsuyu before we get on the boat? I don't think we want this nonsense once again."

"It will be my pleasure," she said before turning to the two sick ninjas. "You two, I swear, I'll tell Minato not to get you in a mission involving boats ever again!"

And one sure thing, Lord Fourth would trust the sanin's opinion on the matter, considering she was one of best medic ninja in Konoha.
