Meeting up with the other Rangers for another pickup game of basketball, Tommy found himself laughing along with the other Rangers as Billy snatched the ball away from Zack, dunking it as the rest of the Rangers all gathered around him. Trading high-fives with the rest of the Rangers, Tommy turned and made his way back to the house where he lived with the Controllers playing the roles of his foster parents.
With his obligations to the other Power Rangers fulfilled, Tommy made his way back to the house he shared with the Controllers currently playing the roles of his parents.
He had enough time, before the other Animorphs were going to head to Ocean World, to get some of the homework he'd been assigned at least started, so that was a good thing. Tommy could only be glad that the Yeerks hadn't been too persistent back in Century City, especially since he was living with a pair of Controllers. He could all too easily imagine what they would have done if they'd managed to discover what he was actually a part of.
Doubly so, now that he was also a Power Ranger; there were too many people counting on him for Tommy to be careless.
Once night had fallen, Tommy morphed into the seagull that he and the rest of the Animorphs had previously acquired, flying off to meet up with the other Animorphs in the air.
(It's good to have you with us again, Tommy,) Jake said, as Tommy joined up with their small flock.
(Thanks.)
