He hadn't been expecting that another of the Animorphs would end up having that in common with him, but after seeing the way Marco had reacted to the presence of Visser One – more than that, when he'd heard the anguish in the younger boy's voice – Tommy had made up his mind that he would support the younger boy in any way he could. Or, at least in any way the younger boy would let him, given how independent-minded Marco was.

Still, finding himself back in school, among the Power Rangers, and doing something as normal as trying to get people to sign a petition to save an old statue in one of Angel Grove's parks was actually pretty comforting. He did find himself wondering what the rest of his friends and fellow Animorphs were doing, while he was in Angel Grove with the rest of the Power Rangers. He couldn't help it; he was the oldest in that particular group.

There would always be a part of him that worried about those kids, since he was the oldest out of their group.

Rolling his eyes as Bulk and Skull made a nuisance of themselves, as usual, Tommy shook his head as he started gathering up the various arachnids and insects that those two had scattered around the room where he, the other Power Rangers, and the students whose help they'd been trying to get help from had previously been gathered. The rest of them – even the other Power Rangers – had all run from the room. It was funny, really, and since he was alone Tommy allowed himself to chuckle a bit.

He didn't want to be rude, of course, but it was still funny.
