Once he and the rest of the Power Rangers had all met up after class again, Tommy smiled along with the rest of the Power Rangers when Trini announced that the Angel Grove City Council had decided not to tear down the statue they'd been trying to protect. Even as he laughed along with the rest of them, however, Tommy couldn't help but wonder how the other Animorphs were doing. None of their battles had ever been as… Really, as easy as the battles he fought with the Power Rangers.
It might not have sounded like a fair comparison if he'd tried to make it to any of them, but he was the only person with the kind of perspective to make the comparison in the first place.
Of course, the fact that he'd been thinking about what might have been happening to the other Animorphs without him made the appearance of Tobias in a nearby tree more than slightly amusing.
(Tommy, are you busy?) the hawk asked, fluttering to a landing on a nearby branch.
"I'm actually done with everything," he muttered, knowing that Tobias would hear him since he was so close. "Do the rest of the Animorphs need me for something?"
(We're going to be trying to get a look inside Joe Bob Fenestre's mansion,) Tobias said, fluttering along after him as Tommy made his way back to the house where he stayed with the Controllers pretending to be his foster parents. (We could use your help getting past whatever guards he has.)
Nodding, since Tobias was too far up now for Tommy to feel comfortable shouting up to him, considering how close the pair of them were to the house where he lived with the Controllers playing their parts as his foster parents, Tommy took a breath and pressed onward. Time would tell just what kind of help the other Animorphs needed, but he was willing to give it, all the same.
