"So, you're worried that whoever is running this website you guys found might be using it to lure anyone who finds out about the Yeerks into a trap?" Jason asked, once Jake had finished speaking.
"That's what we were trying to find out," Marco said, folding his arms and looking more than a little dubious; Tommy could fully understand why, considering how vulnerable any human truly was to becoming a Yeerk host. "Only, certain people decided that they had better things to do than find out what kind of defenses we'd be dealing with."
Marco was leveling something of annoyed glare at Jake, though he stopped quickly when Jason turned to look in his direction, so Tommy knew something had gone on between the pair of them; he was curious, but not about to discus Animorph business in front of someone uninvolved. At least, not anymore than he'd been forced to.
"Zordon, what do you think?"
Making his way over to the rest of the Animorphs, even as Jason and Zordon started talking, Tommy leaned in.
"What happened?" he asked Jake.
"There was this whole thing with my family that I couldn't get away from," Jake said, after he'd checked to make sure that no one who didn't know their circumstances was watching them, either. "Tom was there."
"Ah," he said, nodding as he understood the suspicion that would Jake would have had to deal with if he'd tried to refuse something that even his Controller brother was willing to go along with.
