With Ground Zero and Midoriya...

Ladybug was shocked to see Midoriya using Black Whip, especially at Ground Zero. Not only that, but it looked like the Reflekta's power wore off on him. She could tell Midoriya was having a hard time keeping him in place. She looked at the giant fan, hoping it would kick in soon. It was starting to snow over them, but it might be a while before Bakugo starts to feel the effects of it.

"Now what Ladybug?" Queen Bee asked her, "Do you want me to go use Venom on him?"

Ladybug noticed he was still using his explosions to try to get out of the Black Whip. She couldn't let Queen Bee go in like that, not when she already got hurt from him earlier.

"Not yet. We should wait for a moment to take care of this," Ladybug said to them, "We can't just rush in there. If Izuku looks like he needs help, I'll signal for someone to go."

They all nodded. Ladybug noticed Cat Noir was able to get away from the fight. He stood there, watching Midoriya take care of Ground Zero. Something about the way he was watching them looked sad or worried about something.

Ladybug wanted to talk to him, but she decided to wait until later.

Midoriya held back Ground Zero, but he started to run towards him, causing the Black Whip loosen up. He felt the tendrils letting go of him, feeling the power of One for All slip away from him.

"No! Kacchan!" Midoriya cried out.

Midoriya felt his knees buckle as he collapsed from exhaustion. His eyes were wide from shock, realizing that Bakugo had just taken his quirk, his Miraculous from him.

He looked up to see Ground Zero, holding his Miraculous in his hands. Midoriya could swear his sly smirk looked so much like Chrysalis's for a moment.

"Kacchan... Please..."

Before Ground Zero could do or say anything, Ashido's Acid quirk hit his gauntlet that held the Miraculous. His eyes widened and turned to see her standing there, with her arm extended out.

Ashido looked like she was talking smack to him, but they couldn't hear her.

Then Cat Noir extended his baton and hit it out of his hand. He gave him a snarky grin in return.

Midoriya's Miraculous was in the air.

"I got it!" Ashido cried out as she slid on the ground with her acid quirk.

She slid right by it and grabbed it just in time. Ashido jumped for joy that she caught it, but then twirled around to see Ground Zero heading straight for her.

"Kirishima, Catch!"

Ashido threw Midoriya's Miraculous over to Kirishima. He ran for it as if it were football game.

Ashido tried to throw acid at him to slow him down, but he was too fast.

Kirishima grabbed it, but then he could see Ground Zero coming straight for him. He almost got him, but Kirishima dodged him and threw it.

"Someone catch it!"

Todoroki was the closest to it, so he slid on some ice to catch it. It was coming right for him, when Ground Zero came in pretty fast and tried to send him flying across the park. He dodged him and quickly used his ice side to grab him.

Ground Zero felt ice form on his arm, causing him to back away.

Queen Bee realized it had landed on the ground and ran for it.

"Wait! Queen Bee!" Ladybug yelled at her, "I didn't give you a signal!"

Queen Bee ran as fast as she could and kept her eyes on Ground Zero. He was trying to get the ice off of him.

She looked back at Midoriya's Miraculous and grabbed it. Queen Bee frantically looked around for Midoriya and saw him running up to her.

"Queen Bee, you got it!" Midoriya cried out with tears in his eyes.

"Of course I did--"

Midoriya spotted Ground Zero coming up behind her and pulled down to protect her from another explosion. Queen Bee didn't even see it coming, but then she was surprised to find herself underneath Midoriya.

They laid there for awhile with Queen Bee too nervous to open her eyes. After what felt like a long time, she opened her them to find Midoriya's shirt burnt in the back.

"Izuku!" Queen Bee cried out, "No! Why'd you do that?!"

"Wow... i-it so-sounds like you actually care..."

Midoriya was clearly in pain, so a couple of his friends helped him out. Queen Bee held the Miraculous close to her chest as she looked around for Ground Zero. He looked like he was starting to slow down from the snow falling all around them. Ground Zero looked around at all of the snow, and then locked on Ladybug.

He growled at her and started to make his way towards her. Cat Noir tried to hold him off, but Ground Zero was able to produce an explosion and pushed him away. Ladybug swung her yo-yo around like a lasso, ready for him to attack.

"You thought you could stop me with just a little bit of snow?!" Ground Zero yelled at her as he tried to make another explosion in his hand, "Let me tell you something, these gauntlets aren't just for show..."

Midoriya's eyes widened with shock as he realized what was about to happen. He watched Ground Zero pull at his gauntlet to get ready for a blast. He tried to get up to warn Ladybug, but his back hurt so much. Queen Bee stayed by his side, and she checked on his back.

"Izuku, your back..." Queen Bee said, worried for him.

"There's no time for that..." Midoriya growled at the pain, "You need to give me my Miraculous. Quick!"

"Don't be stupid, Izuku!" Queen Bee cried out, "You're hurt."

Midoriya frantically looked back at Ladybug, who was ready for Ground Zero's next move. He tried to get up, but his injury kept him from doing so. He watched Ground Zero as he slowly released the blast from his gauntlet, aiming right at Ladybug.

"Ladybug! Move out of the way!" Midoriya cried out.

Before he could pull it out however, someone appeared from the rooftop of a building and leaped down onto his shoulders. She activated her quirk on him, and he started to float. Ladybug quickly swung her yo-yo around him and held him down like a kite.

She landed down on the ground with a slight stumble to it. Midoriya's green eyes widened with delight as she stood up with hero gear on.

"Uraraka! Yo-You're here!" Class 1-A and Rena Rouge cried out.

Most of the class ran in to give her a big hug, even Rena Rouge joined on the fun. Queen Bee stayed beside Midoriya to make sure he was okay. His eyes couldn't look away from Uraraka. She looked like she had been running for so long now at this point. It felt like he hadn't seen her in a long time. He was surprised to see her away from Chyrsalis.

He stood up since he couldn't even feel the pain anymore.

Uraraka then spotted him staring at her with tears forming under his eyes. She locked onto him as everyone spread out to give them so space. She felt her rosy cheeks warm up and felt her legs begin to run towards him.

Once she ran for him, Midoriya felt the same way and ran. His tears flew off of his face and embraced her in a hug.

"Deku..." Uraraka mumbled as they hugged, "I-I missed you so much..."

Midoriya brushed her hair as he hugged her, missing that feeling of holding her. Even the smell of her was so sweet like cinnamon rolls.

"I-I missed you, too..." Midoriya said back as he looked at her.

Her face was a little dirty and sweaty from running around, but he didn't care. He was just so happy to have her back. Midoriya leaned in for a kiss, but Ground Zero was trying to break free from the yo-yo.

"Uraraka, you're finally here!" Ground Zero yelled out, "Of course Chrysalis couldn't keep you in there forever!"

Uraraka turned back over to Ground Zero, and deactivated her quirk. Ground Zero dropped down on the ground and landed pretty hard. He couldn't even make a small explosion at this point. With the snow still falling all around them, he felt his sweat start to dissipate. Even the gauntlets were leaking from the scratches that Cat Noir hit him with.

Uraraka walked over to him as the rest of Class 1-A appeared around the corner. Iida, EraserHead, Sato and Aoyama stopped in their tracks when they spotted Ground Zero still tied up from Ladybug's yo-yo.

"It's over, Chrysalis," Uraraka said to him, "You've lost."

All of Class 1-A stood there, shocked and confused as to what Uraraka was getting at. Midoriya walked up to her, wondering what she might know.

"Chrysalis, let go of Bakugo. Right now..." Uraraka growled at him, "He doesn't deserve this..."

They all stared at Ground Zero, waiting for him to say something.

And then, he started laughing, causing everyone to flinch from how villainous he sounded. He even still had that sly smile on his face, and Midoriya noticed it again.

"Or what?! You escaped from me! There's nothing you can do to stop me!" Ground Zero yelled out, "Ochaco... You should've stayed with me in HawkMoth's lair while you still could."

Class 1-A were all shocked to see Bakugo talking to Uraraka like this. Even Midoriya didn't know what to make of this. He walked up to her, getting a better look at him.

"Chr-Chrysalis, you were doing this to Kacchan the entire time...?" Midoriya asked him.

"Well, not all the time... Whatever he said to you earlier was all him," Ground Zero explained, "He must really like this place if he wants to leave your Japan behind."

Midoriya looked down at the ground, feeling like he'd just lost his friend. Just when things were starting to go well between them. He clenched his fist, realizing that Bakugo was still akumatized. Even if he tried to destroy his Miraculous, that still could've been Chrysalis.

"The-There's no way that Kacchan did anything of that! He would never destroy One for All!" Midoriya yelled at him, "You don't know him like I do! He's trying to become the number one hero, just like AllMight!"

Ground Zero looked at him like he was unimpressed with what he had to say.

"Well of course he would destroy it. Don't you see? I don't need it," Ground Zero said to them, "You're little wannabe heroes are doing all the work for me. Once they come to get you, I'll just go in there myself. I'm not the one that took your Miraculous. Whatever this One for All is, Katsuki's the one that--"

Then Ground Zero tried to break free from the yo-yo string, but Ladybug held him back. Cat Noir tried to help out and pulled the string back with her.

"Chrysalis, stop it! It's not--"

"De-Deku! I-It's not true..."

Midoriya's heart felt like it skipped a beat when he noticed Ground Zero starting to sweat a lot. His forehead was drenched as he tried to break the yo-yo string around him. His eyes looked less piercing and more scared. Midoriya and all of the others had never seen him look like this before.

"Sh-She's lying... I-I did-didn't do any of that... I-It was all her..."

Midoriya and Uraraka stood there, feeling like something was different with Ground Zero this time around. It felt like Bakugo again.

"Kacchan...?" Midoriya said to him, "You mean... you didn't take One for All from me...?"

Ground Zero shook his head as if someone was trying to get a hold of him. Ladybug and Cat Noir knew exactly what was going on.

"He's being mind controlled by Chrysalis," Ladybug explained as she held the yo-yo string tighter, "It might've never been him this entire time!"

Midoriya felt a pit in his stomach form, and he kneeled down next to him. He tried looking around for something the akuma might be inside, but couldn't find anything. The gauntlets were already damaged, so it wasn't any of those.

"Kacchan, you have to break the akumatization," Uraraka said to him, "If Chrysalis is doing this to you, you've gotta break out of it."

Ground Zero looked up at Uraraka with a scared look in his eyes, and she wasn't expecting it. She felt something for him in that moment and really wanted to just run back over to HawkMoth's lair and take care of Chrysalis herself.

"Ura-Uraraka, I-I ca-can't do it!" Ground Zero yelled at her and reached for something in his pocket.

Midoriya got ready for him to throw something at them, but then realized it was a trading card. His eyes shined and felt something come over him when he saw what Ground Zero held in his hand.

It was an AllMight trading card.

He still had the AllMight trading card, after all this time. Something about this told him that he didn't mean all of those things he said about AllMight and One for All.

"De-Deku, take it now!" Ground Zero yelled at him.

Midoriya really didn't want to rip it, but he had no choice and did it. The akuma flew out of it, and Ladybug let him go.

She captured the akuma and released it into the night sky.

A purplish cloud formed around Ground Zero and detransformed him back into Bakugo. He looked like exhausted and almost fell over onto the ground.

Midoriya came in and caught him before he could.

"I've got you, Kacchan," Midoriya said to him.

He settled him back down onto the ground as Class 1-A finally felt like they could relax. Bakugo barely even looked up at Midoriya and Uraraka at this point. He looked like he needed a long nap, but Bakugo wouldn't even get up or say anything.

"I don't blame you if you hate me, Deku," Bakugo said to him, "I almost destroyed One for All, again... AllMight's power. That's all there was left, and I almost..."

Bakugo eyes widened as he realized what he had done. Even after what happened with AllMight, he thought it wouldn't ever happen again. But, it did, and he almost got rid of it completely. Tears came up and fell down his face, and all he could think about was AllMight.

Midoriya got closer to him, even though Bakugo didn't want to see him right now.

"Kacchan, you didn't do any of that," Midoriya tried to explain to him, "It was Chrysalis. She knew what she was doing."

Bakugo just kept crying, and Midoriya felt like giving him a hug. But he kept his distance and let him cry.

"Deku's right, Bakugo," Uraraka said as she kneeled beside them, "She used Midoriya's Miraculous to gather a bunch of akumas and sent them out to all of you guys. She's trying to stop us from getting home. That's why I sent that video to all of you, so we can get there before she does."

Midoriya didn't even know that about Chrysalis. It was no wonder there were so many akumas out there.

Bakugo wiped away his tears, embarrassed by his out burst. He looked up at Midoriya and Uraraka as the sun began to rise. They both sat there with smiles on their faces, just happy to see that their friend was okay. Even Midoriya had tears forming around his eyes.

Bakugo let out a chuckle, surprising the both of them.

"Do you ever stop crying, Deku?" He said to them.

Uraraka's smile grew even wider as she too began to cry. She pulled both of them into a hug, surprising both of them. Midoriya and Bakugo let her hug it out since they were both so happy to see her. Even Bakugo let a smile slip out.

Class 1-A and the Parisian heroes felt like they could finally relax as the sun rose, ready for a brand new day.

Another amazing chapter!

This was a great way to wrap things up with Ground Zero! It was so fun writing this part of the book! It was really fun to go back to this part with Ground Zero and Midoriya! Uraraka showing up, I love it so much! Bakugo is back! I hoping someone noticed the AllMight trading card reference.

It seems that Bakugo, Midoriya and Uraraka are starting to become friends!

I've been waiting to get to that moment when they hug! I just think it's so cute, especially since they could definitely be friends!

What's going to happen next??

More to come soon!
