In the streets of Paris...

Adrien ran away from the school, and he didn't know why. His legs just kept going and it felt great. He hadn't ran like this in a long time, but after what felt like several minutes, he finally slowed down. Something about that poof of smoke scared him off, so he ran. He noticed he'd been running for a long time at this point since it was getting dark outside.

Then he realized that the city of Paris was bigger and taller than usual. He looked down at his legs and noticed that he was on all fours. His arms and legs were now covered in black fur and now had paws. He felt his stomach in knots once he realized he was now a black cat.

"What?! How?!" Adrien cried out, sounding a lot like a cat.

And then he began to worry about Marinette and Midoriya. He kept walking for a while, hoping they were okay. He knew the potion would do something to him, but he didn't think he'd be turned into a cat. If Plagg saw him like this, he knew that he'd have this over him for a long time.

Something clicked, and he looked down at his paw where he would wear his Miraculous. It wasn't there. He frantically looked around for it, but it wasn't there. He just hoped it fell off of him back in the classroom.

He stopped in his tracks, realizing that he was near the docks. He even noticed Luka and Juleka's boathouse nearby. He was no where near the school. He then spotted a bridge and headed towards it. His feet hurt so much that he felt like he had to rest.

Just for a little bit.

Adrien circled around to settle down. A breeze blew through his fur, making him shiver. He didn't think he'd be sleeping under a bridge tonight. He did fall asleep on Marinette's balcony that one time. But that was completely different.

Adrien wondered if he should just head home and maybe Natalie might be to help him back to the school. But he soon found himself falling asleep right away.

"Marinette..." Adrien thought before falling asleep.

Someone soon found him asleep under the bridge and picked him up. They took him back to their house that was nearby. They held him, hoping they could help him warm up a little from the cold outside.

In Nadja's apartment...

Manon kept looking at Midoriya like he was a toy. Her eyes were locked onto him, giving him an uneasy feeling. Nadja and Manon were walking up to their apartment from what it looked like. Midoriya really didn't recognize this building and there was no way of reaching his friends. Luckily, Nadja said she'd be looking for his rightful owner.

His cheeks started to warm up from the thought of having one of his friends pick him up as if they were his owner. Then he thought about Uraraka finding him and giving him a scratch under the chin and holding him like this. His face brightened a bright red color through his fur, causing Nadja to catch her attention.

"Oh man. This little guy might not feel too good," Nadja said to her daughter, "We might have to get a vet to come over to check him out."

Midoriya tensed up once Nadja mentioned a doctor. They finally reached their apartment, and Nadja checked her pocketbook for her keys. Once she found them, she unlocked her front door and opened it. She turned on the lights, and Manon ran in and ready to play with the bunny.

"Mommy, can I play with him?" Manon asked her.

"I'm sorry, honey. This bunny doesn't feel too good," Nadja said to her, "I'm going to call a vet soon. I'm going to have to put a Found poster for him soon. We're only keeping him until we find his owner."

Manon shrugged and ran off to find more of her dolls to play with. Nadja looked at Midoriya with a genuine smile as she scratched in between his ears. He felt his leg begin to twitch from the scratch. It felt really good, and he tried to stop his leg from doing that.

"Don't worry, little guy," Nadja said to him, "We'll find your owner soon."

Nadja pulled out an empty hamster cage and place him in there. There was shavings of paper and cardboard all around him, and there was even a food dish and a water bottle that dripped when you drank out of it. Nadja grabbed the water bottle and food dish and went to fill it for him.

Midoriya looked around their apartment and noticed that he was in the kitchen that opened up into the living room. He was on the counter and saw Manon playing with her dolls. They looked like Ladybug and Cat Noir dolls along with a couple of dolls that looked like akumatized villains. She had put on a TV show that he had never seen before.

Soon enough, Nadja came back with a food dish filled with shredded carrots and celery. The water bottle was filled with ice cold water. Midoriya could smell the carrots and celery so easily. They actually smelled really good.

He was tempted to take a carrot and try one. His paw reached out and took one to taste. It tasted so much better than the last time he'd had one. He didn't remember it tasting this sweet and good before. He ate it all up so quickly that Nadja smiled.

"Manon, I have to go to work soon. Your babysitter will be here any minute," Nadja said to her daughter, "I might not have to call a vet anyway. Don't take him out of the cage."

"Okay, Mommy!" Manon said back.

Midoriya watched Nadja leave and really hoped she'd stay. He really didn't want to stay here with Manon. He had a feeling she wasn't going to keep her word about him staying in the cage.

Manon looked at him, but she went back to playing with her dolls. Midoriya let out a long sigh and hopped over to the water bottle. He really didn't want to do this, but he was so thirsty. Especially after tasting that terrible potion just now. He drank from the water bottle and was fascinated by how it worked.

After drinking a good amount of it, he turned around to see Manon face to face with him. He skidded back a bit and hit the back of the cage.

"Hey, Fluffy. Do you wanna play with me?" Manon asked him.

"Fluffy...?" Midoriya thought.

Manon tried to open the cage, but she was too short to reach it. He knew she wouldn't listen to her mom, but he hoped she wouldn't try to do this until way later. She tried to climb one of the stools to reach the cage and got on top of it. She was about to open it, when the doorbell rang. Manon pouted and climbed down to get the door.

Midoriya let out a sigh of relief and hoped the babysitter wasn't anyone that couldn't handle someone like Manon.

She opened the door and Lila came walking into the apartment. Midoriya's eyes widened in shock as Lila walked around without her realizing he was in the room. His stomach felt like it was in knots as he kept his eyes on her. He really hoped that she didn't see him or notice something off about a green bunny in their cage.

"Hey, Manon. Where's your mom?"

"She already left. We can play dolls if you want to," Manon said to her babysitter.

Lila looked at the Ladybug and Cat Noir doll and gave them a disgusted look. She looked at the coffee table and noticed some drawings Manon had finished. They looked like pictures of Ladybug and Cat Noir with a couple of the heroes in training she had seen on TV.

"I like your drawings. Do you want to color instead?" Lila asked her, "I brought some coloring books you might like."

Midoriya watched Lila actually look after Manon for a good while. Luckily, Manon seemed to forget about him for a while. He looked around the apartment and noticed a window cracked open. He knew there was no way that would help since they were on the fifth floor.

He just really hoped that Marinette and the others were trying to figure out a way to reverse this.

Earlier back at the school...

Alya, Chloe and Class 1-A all ran down the stairs towards the gym with worried expressions on their faces. She led them all out of the gym, but then they heard someone call out to them to stop in their tracks.

It was Mr. Aizawa.

"Where do you guys think you're going?" Mr. Aizawa asked them with a piercing glare, "I've told you this a bunch of times. Do you really want me to repeat it?"

Alya felt herself tense up once Mr. Aizawa walked towards them. Even Chloe felt it as well. Class 1-A froze in place, not daring to move.

"Mr. Aizawa, Midoriya and Adrien--"

"Don't," Mr. Aizawa interrupted, "You've done this way too many times now. Give me one good reason why you all feel the need to disobey me."

It was silent for a long time.

"Mr. Aizawa, this is important. We need to find Adrien and Izuku right away."

Mr. Aizawa looked over at Alya, thinking she said something to him. Alya looked at him awkwardly and rubbed the back of her head.

"Ahhh... Sorry, sir. I didn't say that," Alya said to him as she helped Marinette out, "Marinette did."

Alya held a ladybug out that looked almost like a cartoonish ladybug. It was a little bigger than a regular one.

Mr. Aizawa looked at it, hoping that this was some kind of joke or prank they were pulling on him. He looked at his class, and they looked as serious as they were when a bunch of akumas showed up. He let out a long sigh and awkwardly talked to Marinette.

"What happened... Marinette...?" Mr. Aizawa asked her.

"I made a potion to try to reverse this transformation, but... it seemed to have made things worse," Marinette explained to him, "It's possible that Adrien and Izuku are a black cat and a bunny."

Mr. Aizawa couldn't believe what she was saying to him. He dealt with some weird quirk interactions before, but this was even weirder. None of his classmates have ever accidentally turned to animals before. He rubbed his eyes in aggravation and let them go find them.

"Thank you, Mr. Aizawa!" Iida cried out, "We'll find them!"

Mr. Aizawa looked back at them, hoping Midoriya and Adrien were okay. He just couldn't wait to get back home.

Alya, Chloe and Class 1-A spread out to look for Midoriya and Adrien. Uraraka and Bakugo looked around together. She kept calling out for Adrien and Midoriya while Bakugo just followed her around. She noticed that Bakugo did look a little worried for their friends, but he was keeping his distance with them.

Epecially Midoriya.

"Deku! Adrien!" Uraraka called out.

It was silent outside. Everyone had started to go home, so the streets were practically cleared out. Uraraka walked towards the park, hoping one of them made it over there. She noticed Bakugo wanting to turn around and go back to the school.

Uraraka couldn't take this anymore and grabbed his wrist.

"Uraraka! What the hell do you think you are doing?!" Bakugo cried out.

"What is with you lately? You might not want to go back home with us, but that doesn't mean that you get to treat us this way! Especially Deku!" Uraraka cried back.

Bakugo looked stunned as he stood there taking whatever she'd throw at him.

"You two were finally starting to get along somewhat and now you just want to toss that all out the window! I thought... I thought even we started to become friends..." Uraraka said to him, feeling tears starting to form around her eyes, "Deku could be anywhere. Someone could've found him already. I don't know how we're going to find him before... we leave..."

Bakugo then realized she was worried they wouldn't be able to find him before it was time to leave Paris. She didn't want to have to leave him behind. He grabbed her shoulders to look at her.

She was surprised to see his red eyes looking so soft. Something about it made her feel a lot better.

"Uraraka, we'll find him. I promise," Bakugo said to her, "You know I wouldn't actually let anything happen to Deku. Especially something as stupid as this."

Uraraka felt a tear run down her face and wiped it away. He let go of her, and she settled down a bit. They both walked into the park, looking around for any clues.

"Sorry for grabbing onto you like that," Uraraka said to him.

"It's fine. You didn't hurt me or anything like that," Bakugo said back quietly.

"You know, we can still hero train together. Even if you do decide to stay, we can still be friends," Uraraka said to him, "Even Deku and Kirishima would like that, too."

Bakugo seemed to acknowledge her for a moment, but then something caught his attention. He stopped in his tracks noticing some bunny paw prints. They both looked at each other, and Uraraka slowly walked up just in case he was anywhere near them. She noticed that the paw prints led up to a tree.

"Deku? Are you there?" Uraraka asked him.

It was silent. No one came out from behind the tree.

She walked up to the tree and looked behind it. No one was there, but Uraraka spotted something rather odd.

She picked up his Miraculous that was where he was not that long ago. Uraraka turned around to face Bakugo to show him the Miraculous. Even he looked a little nervous.

"Bakugo, where did he go?" Uraraka asked him, getting really nervous again, "He's gotta be around here somewhere, right?"

Bakugo was going to check his Miraculous, but something made him hesitate. He instead reached for Uraraka, which surprised her once again. All she could do was look into his eyes through her teary ones.

"We'll find him. Let's keep looking around the park. Maybe someone left something behind. Someone could've taken him to make sure he was okay," Bakugo said to her.

Uraraka nodded at him, and she started looking around as she held his Miraculous close to her. She couldn't stop thinking about how she had just gotten this back to him. And now, he had lost it again. Uraraka looked down at it and hoped he wasn't worried about losing it again. That he knew they were out there looking for him.

She looked up to see someone walking around the park with a kid. They were just leaving, and she didn't even see them. She walked up to them, wondering if they might've seen someone or even Midoriya.

"Excuse me, have you seen someone carrying a... bunny around? Maybe even just a stray bunny running around here?" Uraraka asked them, "I-I lost my... pet, and I can't seem to find him anywhere."

The father thought about it for a moment and finally seemed to remember something.

"Actually, yeah. I saw someone carrying a bunny that they might've found here. I didn't get a good look at her, but she was definitely leaving the park with a bunny in her arms," He explained to her.

Uraraka's stomach felt like it was in knots once he said a girl picked him up. All she could think about was Lila picking him up and bringing him to the lair. Bakugo walked up to her, knowing full well what she was thinking.

"Was there anyone else with her?" Bakugo asked for her.

"Yeah. There was a little girl. Probably her kid," He said to them.

Uraraka felt a sigh of relief escaping from her mouth as Bakugo subtly rubbed her back.

"Th-Thank you, sir," Uraraka said to him.

The father and kid began to walk away, but not without saying, "I hope you find him soon. It's getting dark out."

The kid waved goodbye, and Uraraka smiled at him. She waved back.

Uraraka and Bakugo began to walk back to the school, knowing that they might not be able to find Midoriya tonight. They just hoped that someone found Adrien soon.

Bakugo watched Uraraka from behind. She walked in front of him, and they were both not saying a word to each other. He thought about what Uraraka had told him earlier. She actually saw him as a friend, after everything that he's done to Midoriya. Something along the way made Bakugo realize that Uraraka was strong and capable of becoming a great hero.

He was surprised that someone like her even wanted to be friends with someone like him. All he could think about was the day when Uraraka was akumatized. He had won. If it wasn't for Ladybug and her Lucky Charm, he might've lost pretty easily. Bakugo subtly smiled at her and walked up to her to meet up halfway.

"You know, I wouldn't mind another round the next time we hero train together," Bakugo said to her, "Maybe a rematch after what happened while you were akumatized."

Uraraka was shocked that he even mentioned that day. But she smiled to see him even want to walk alongside her. She let a smile slip, causing Bakugo to smile as well.

"You're on."

Another amazing chapter!

This one was really fun to write! Kind of interesting to figure out how to format this. I would like it if someone could guess who found Adrien. It's pretty obvious, but why not?? Oh no! Lila is Manon's babysitter! That's not very good! Midoriya might be in trouble again!

Uraraka and Bakugo have been really fun to write. I really like them as friends, not a couple. I can just see them actually getting along somewhat and enjoying a sparring match between them! Also, it seems Uraraka has found Midoriya's Miraculous again.

What's going to happen next??

More to come soon!
