Chapter 55: Linked Hearts

The unnamed wizard saw his home destroyed by the hands of his dragon with others. "What...is this...happening...humans...dragons...have going exist with each other..." He found countless villages and towns destroyed though some dragons were peaceful with humans only that peace would be nothing more than an illusion. 'I despised Acnologia...I hated all dragons...I was useless...I can do was run and hide." He decided to find a way to fight against the dragons and destroy each of them. He decided to require dragon slayer magic and managed to get it starting to slay every dragon he came across.

Acnologia came across a village that loved fishing and met a fisherman. "Hey, this village is known for fishing though the air is filled with the stench of dragons." The fisherman turned around. "I heard that you offered children for sacrifices, haven't you?"

"Not of our damn business!" The fisherman cursed rudely he looked continuing his work with a hint of fear in his eyes though human Acnologia didn't realize it. "It is the only way we go co-exist to survive."

Acnologia just sneered at the reason. "How pathetic...that's no go exist isn't meaningless service...scumbag. You would willingly feed those beasts human flesh...how vile." He snarled disgustingly.

Hearing that provoked the fisherman. "That's enough out of you outsider!" He snapped holding a scythe. "Look, we're only doing this because we have no choice!"

"SILENCE!" Acnologia put his hand out releasing his magic and seemingly killing the fisherman.

A short time later, Acnologia confronted the dragon inside a cave that was outside the village. "So, you're the wizard who has been discriminated against the blood of my kind. Before I end your life answer my question, what is your name?!" With one strike, Acnologia slaughtered the dragon. "I had forgotten it...disgusting filthy creature!"

For years and years, Acnologia killed countless dragons he came across and one day he found a little girl being tortured. He looked at the body of the little girl. "I'm sorry I was unable to protect you." One day he transformed into a dragon himself. "I will kill every last dragon in my path even those that use their power and anyone else that gets in my way!"

Fairy Tail and their allies watched in disbelief as the ships they were going to use were destroyed.

"We're screwed." Jet muttered.

Miyaka remembered something. "Gray, Lyon, use your Make Magic!"

Gray grinned. "Way ahead of you!" Lyon assisted with Juvia.

Happy was carrying Lucy, Lily was carrying Freed, and Carla was carrying Gajeel. "We'll let you handle this!" Lucy nodded.

Lucy recalled the small town. "This is where I first met you and Happy."

"Aye!"

"Once more, Natsu will meet us again!"

Natsu and Gajeel inhaled their breath. "Iron Dragon's..."

"Fire Dragon's..."

"ROAR!"

The two dragon slayers breathed out their magic which hit Acnologia.

"Poison Dragons..."

Lighting Dragon's..."

"Iron Fist!"

Laxus and Cobra threw their punches which were intercepted by Acnologia's only arm.

"White Dragon Holy Ray!" A massive white beam of white magic fired directly at Acnologia's stomach.

"Shadow Dragon's Roar!" Rogue unleashed his breath attack which swallowed Acnologia.

"Sky Dragon's Wing Attack!" Wendy swung her arms creating a strong gust of wind.

Acnologia dodged the sky dragon attack and he slammed his arm against Wendy's face. He then charged at Sting kneeing him in the gut and used his other foot to kick Rogue's chin. Acnologia leaped in the air at Gajeel kicking his foot onto the iron dragon slayer's face.

"Damn you!" Natsu cursed pulling back his arm. "Fire Dragon's Iron-" Before he could finish his attack Acnologia grabbed hold of Natsu's face and slammed him on the ground hard.

Gray and Lyon managed to create a giant ship. "It's done!"

Juvia was happy to see such a masterpiece. "I'm proud of you guys!"

Loris and Meela were astonished. "That guy is amazing."

"A ship made of ice, so, cool sis!"

Juvia overheard the twin's praises. "Are you hitting on my man?" The twins froze in place. "No ma'am!"

Najasho had one thing on his mind. "I hate to admit it, but, we were small fries here."

Cornelia had never seen such teamwork in her life. "I wish I had their faith."

Tsukushi felt utterly helpless. "Yeah, if we could use magic of our own."

Guy grinned. "After hearing about Fairy Tail and seeing about fighting spirit they have, they could kick any ass."

Gin and Poney were looking a bit down. "I wish we could be more helpful."

"Yeah, this makes us look utterly useless..."

"No..." The Elite Seven looked at Akame who was looking at them with a serious look. "You guys need to continue to live, not for yourselves but for Gozuki and to atone for your sin so that you can find peace."

Green chuckled. "I figured you'd say that." He had a determined look on his face. "So, after this war, we should learn how to use magic ourselves." He took hold of Akame's hands. "Of course, I know you will kick ass yourself, Akame." His former teammate giggled with a small smile. "Yeah."

Acnologia looked at the injured dragon slayers. "Looks like this is the end, you dragon fools...if this is what it means to be a dragon slayer...I can't let you live for my purpose to destroy every one of you."

Natsu began to laugh amusingly. "That's pretty funny coming from you." Acnologia was a little surprised to see his enemy laughing. "Face it, as long as you are alive you're the only dragon left."

A huge grin was shown on Natsu's face. "Besides we're humans...the dragons gave us power but we're still humans so quit it with the narcissism crap." Acnologia sneered at the fire dragon slayer. "Real dragons...you see...are strong...noble...and kind..."

"A dragon...kind?" Acnologia gritted his teeth. "The dragons that had stolen everything from me...are kind...don't bullcrap me...they devoured my family...even children weren't safe from their wrath!" Acnologia unleashed his magic power causing an explosion right where Natsu was.

"Haven't you listened to me...dragons...real ones come in different types...just like us humans...some are good...some are bad...some are strong...some are weak...and there are ones...that are going to kick your ass..." The fire around Natsu intensified which took Acnologia by surprise. "How is he able to use his magic...my attack should've killed him?"

Suddenly, Laxus, Gajeel, Sting, Wendy, Cobra, and Rogue were transferring their magic power to Natsu. "I'll enchant all our power to you!"

"GO NATSU!"

"YOU GOT THIS PAL SHOW NO MERCY!"

"WE'RE COUNTING ON YOU!"

"USE OUR MAGIC!"

"SHUT THIS JACKASS UP NOW!"

"Yeah...I feel it..." Natsu pumped his right hand which absorbed the other dragon slayer's powers. "YOUR POWERS ARE BECOMING FIRE! THIS IS THE POWER OF THE SEVEN FLAME DRAGON!"

Lucy began preparations for the Fairy Sphere with a few Fairy Tail wizards.

Jimbei was in the ocean with Rena, Thorn, Aquapad, and Jula. "Let's push this to the port as quickly as we can!"

"Right!" The other Fishmen wizard roared.

"Good job, Juvia use your magic to adjust the ship!" Gray commanded.

"Okay!" Juvia nodded.

Mirajane was in her Satan Soul form. "Okay! Here we go, over here Erza!"

Erza began requip her armor. "You're a fool Acnologia to underestimate humans, we're stronger than you think!" She sent countless swords at Acnologia's back sending him down.

Juvia used her magic to adjust the ship at the right moment and Acnologia was soon on the deck completely immobilized. "GAHA..."

"I'll keep him trapped!" Robin did her stance. "Gigantesco Mano!" Two pairs of giant arms sprouted from both sides of the ships. "Hold!" The giant arms had hands that held down Acnologia's back.

"Goob job!" Luffy praised.

"Not bad," Ace agreed impressively.

"Lucy, we're ready!" Mirajane stated.

"Everyone release your magic power!" Lucy proclaimed.

Each of the Fairy Tail wizards held hands gathering their magic power.

Carla was in her human form and held Cheila's hand.

"Aquarius...first master...papa...mother...lend me your strength...the strength to protect everyone...Fairy Sphere Activate!" The sphere began to appear around Acnologia.

"The sphere is appearing!" Mirajane pointed out.

Akame was holding Green's hand with Leone's.

"I FEEL IT!" Natsu roared feeling the new magic intensify around him.

"Is the sphere working?" Erza asked.

To their shock, Acnologia was able to break from Robin's arms. "FUTILE!" An insane cackle was heard from Acnologia's flesh body. "SIMPLY COMBINING YOUR FEEBLE POWER WILL NEVER COMPARE TO PREVAIL AGAINST THE DRAGON KING!"

"The Fairy Sphere is cracking!" Lily pointed out.

"Crap, this can't be good!" Usopp whimpered.

Lucy felt the power of the Fairy Sphere fade away. "Oh no...it isn't strong enough." She suddenly felt a strong power being added to hers and there stood Meredy. "Allow me to help you with others who share their magic power from every continent."

Quatro Cerabus, Jellal, Blue Pegasus, Anna, the Emperors of Ishgar provided their magic

Flare from the Village of Giants provided her magic while the giants stood behind her.

Princess Hisui, and the Hungry Wolf Knights provided their magic as well.

The three mermaid heel wizards, Arana, Beth, Risely, and Millianna providing their magic.

"I can't move..."

The demons from the Galuna Island were proving their own magic with Meredy's magic to Lucy's magic.

The three former Phantom Lord members, Totomaru, Aria, and Sol were proving their magic with big smiles on their faces.

Sho and Wally offered their magic with proud smiles.

Kagura offered her magic as well by raising her left arm.

The other Exceeds offered their magic as well.

Dorothy was seeing the magic energy stream above her head.

Old Ultear was watching the magic energy stream from her house's window.

Aceto was with Velceno, who was providing his magic while his fiance watched the streams of magic energy.

Legion Corps had their arms raised sharing their magic energy.

Archbishop along with the Jiggle Butt Gang and Guttman Kubrick, who was proving his own magic to help Lucy with Meredy's magic.

Boze, Sue, and Bora had their arms raised providing their magic energy.

Yajima and Michello were offering their magic too and Michelia was watching the two mages.

Rabian and Jason witnessed the flow of the mages' magic power linked by Meredy's magic, they smiled proudly.

Katji was standing by a tree witnessing the mage's magic power stream and smiling.

Brandish offered her magic energy with a smile on her face.

Matten Ginger was with Aegist & and Bandou were by the King's palace providing their magic power to Lucy with Meredy's magic power.

The wizards from the Archeological Society along with Nico Robin's mother Oliva and her own counterpart named Rukia were watching the magic energy stream and the boss Jean-Luc(Remember, Robin and her mother have a counterpart in Earthland, she appeared in my Avatar Arc story). Rukia, Oliva, and Jean-Luc were providing their magic energy.

Porlyusica was with Makarov, who was providing his magic energy to Lucy using Meledy's magic power.

Yajeel, Ajeel, Bakel, Kareem, and the rest of their squad watched the magic energy streams in the air from the pirate's ship.

In a nearby prison, Neinhart, Marin, and Jacob felt the magic, each were faintly smiling upon feeling the magic energy.

Invel who finally woke up saw the magic stream energy in the air seemingly smiling.

Sylph Labyrinth was watching the magic stream smiling proudly.

"So cool!" Luffy, Franky, Usopp, and Chopper had starstruck eyes.

Zoro smirked.

Robin and Sanji smiled at each a sight to behold.

Brook felt tears in his eyes. "Yohohohoho...this sight is enough to make my eyes water with tears...if I had eyes left...skeleton joke!"

Tom and Ace smiled at the sight before them.

The other remaining Fairy Tail wizards offered their last remaining magic power. "We have more magic to share!"

Chelsea offered her magic too. "Let's do this!"

Leone released every magic she can provide. "Yeah!"

Akame smiled feeling her magic helping Lucy and her new family. "Let's win this." She felt a hand grab hers which belonged to Green. "I might not have magic, but, we'll share our new faith." The Oarburgh Clan and the other Elite Seven joined lined up between Akame and Green holding each others.

Jimbei had his arms crossed smiling proudly.

Thorn, Rena, Jula, and Angela providing their magic. "Let's do this guys!"

"Right!"

"For our Fairy Tail family and our new friends!"

Pango, Tigress, Temukai, and Usagi held each others hands proving their magic to Lucy with Meredy's magic smiling.

"Show our manly magic!" Elfman stated.

"LET'S GO!" Erza proclaimed loudly.

"FAIRY SPHERE ACTIVATE!" Lucy proclaimed once more.

Back at the realm, Acnologia was going to use all his magic power to deliver a killing blow. "DESTROY! DESTROY! DESTROY! I SHALL DESTROY EVERY LAST OF YOU PATHETIC FOOLS!"

"That son of..." Laxus cursed under his breath.

"He's going berserk..." Gajeel muttered while panting.

Acnologia was about to use his power until he felt his body froze. "What...the hell...my body...won't move..." Natsu saw his chance and rushed to Acnologia. "You can't destroy it not on your own...HEAR ME!"

"NATSU!"

"FINISH HIM!"

"USE OUR MAGIC POWER!"

"MAKE HIM PAY!"

"YEAH!"

"NATSU!"

"LEAVE IT TO ME!" Natsu slammed his fist against Acnologia's face sending him crashing through crystal walls.

Acnologia rolled across the ground as he felt his life slipping away. "I need...more power...more pain...I..must...destroy...everything...I will take it all..."

"Nobody can't have everything..." Natsu spoke in a soft tone. "You should just treasure what you do have." A smile was shown on his face. "So don't be greedy...I have my friends with me...that's all I need."

A faint smile appeared on Acnologia's face. "I see...you're worthy of earning the title "King"..." Natsu kinda liked the offer but declined. "Thanks, but no thanks...I don't have any intention about being king."

Acnologia's flesh body began to fade away until nothing was left.

"We did it!" Luffy cheered.

Usopp and Chopper danced around. "Alright! We did it!"

"Yeah! We kicked that giant dragon's butt!"

Franky bawled his eyes out with joy. "Wahhhh...we did it...I'm so happy!" Nami raised her arms in the air with a big smile. "Alright!"

Robin smiled brightly with a giggle.

Warren and Max were crying with tears of joy along with Droy and Jet.

Mirajane jumped with joy.

Aquapad and Lisanna hugged each other but they realized what they had done and just smiled at each other.

Green and Akame hugged each other by accident until they realized what they were doing. "Akame...I'm sorry...I-" He was silenced by Akame's lips with her eyes closed and Green returned the kiss as they embraced.

Leone laughed happily. "I guess Akame has a boyfriend now."

Cornelia and Tsukushi smiled happily.

Guy grinned. "Well done."

Merraid was jealous but had to accept this. "Pity..oh well..." She felt a hand take hold of hers which belonged to Gilberda. "Merraid...I want you to be with me."

Sanji was envious. "That guy has Akame now...no fair!" Zoro scoffed. "Moron..." Though surprisingly the pirate cook didn't care what his crewmate said to him.

Chelsea was happy for the first time more than she was since the victory in her world. "We survived."

Taeko stood by her. "We sure did."

Loris and Meela cheered. "Yeah, we did sis!"

"Fairy Tail is the most awesome...no every wizard is!"

Gin giggled. "We survived too."

Tsukuski was happy to say the least. "Father...we survived. I wish you could see this."

Cassandra had a small smile. "Not bad."

Nami was so happy. "That was rough, but we did it."

Guy approached Cornelia. "Cora...listen...I...I..." He stuttered trying to get the words out until he felt a finger placed on his lip. "Guy...you don't have anything, I know and I do." Guy gasped quietly as he felt his heart beat which has never happened in quite a long time.

Najasho smiled a little. "Fairy Tail are more than just small fries." Natala chuckled. "Yeah, they have more faith in each other as well as their allies."

Cassandra unexpectedly smiled. "I guess these guys mostly the men aren't the beasts as I thought they were."

Soon a crack appeared in the sky and the dragon's slayers fell in different directions.

Natsu feels on Lucy and Happy.

Wendy and Carla hugged while crying happily.

"Sting!" Lector hugged his partner.

"Rogue!" Frosch hugged his partner too.

Gajeel held Levy and Lily close with a big smile.

Cobra was greeted by his friends and his former girlfriend Kianna.

Laxus held his Thunder Legion teammates with a happy smile.

Temukai and Pango cheered while bawling their eyes out.

Tigress had her arms crossed with a smile on her face.

Usagi felt so proud and looked in the sky. "Lord Oden...I hope you're watching how we won."

Natsu got up with a bright smile. "I'm home."

"Welcome home!" Lucy greeted happily.

"Let's go back to the guildhall!"

Ace approached Makarov. "Hey Makarov, my name is Portgas D. Ace." The small old man smiled. "I see, nice to meet you, Portgas D. Ace, do you need something?"

"I would like to discuss something with you and it's important." Ace had a serious look on his face.

Jimbei approached the Fairy Tail guild master too. "I would like to discuss something with you too."

Franky approached Tom. "Tom, what will you do now?" He asked his former mentor. Tom looked at his former student for a second and grinned. "I think I know."

Akame had a question for her former teammates. "Green...what will you and the others do now?"

Chelsea had the same question for her own teammates as well. "Taeko, now that the war is over, what will you do now?"

Both former team groups looked each other and a small smile took shape on their faces.

Outside Fairy Hills.

Irene's mutilated body was still on the ground. Soon a small portal opened and mysterious figure wearing a hooded cloaked holding a raindow-lacrima with machinery-like metal on it. "..." The figure put away the lacrima then approached the dead corpse and took out a small scanner-like device which detected strong magic readings. "Such strong magic energy coming from this corpse." A sinister smile was faintly shown and two hands pulled back the cloak revealing the person wearing a scientist uniform. The stranger took out a red tube bottle and scooped from blood samples from the corpse. "First step of my plan and onto to phase two." A dark chuckle was heard. "Fairy Tail...we shall meet soon."

Acnologia is finally defeated and a new age will be born. Though, what do Ace, Jimbei, the Oarburgh Clan, and the Elite Seven plan to discuss with Makarov? More importantly, who was the figure that just arrived in Earthland and why did the stranger scoop some blood samples from Irene's deady corpse? That'll come in due time.
