Memories Of Her-Ch 28
When Derek and Penelope walked into the hospital they headed straight toward the elevator, after stepping on Penelope said, "I'm getting nervous", Derek said, "yeah you and me both sweetness", the doors opened up and they stepped off hand in hand and headed down the hall toward the nursery.
They got the nurses attention and when she stepped out Derek briefly explained things to her and she said, "oh yes, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan, we were told that you were be coming to check on your daughter today", Penelope said, "how is she doing?", the nurse, her name tag said, "Shelly" said, "she's doing great, getting stronger and stronger".
Penelope said, "can we see her?", Shelly said, "of course, please follow me and I'll get you gowned up and ready to hold her",Derek and Penelope grinned and started following her into the room and just as Derek was getting ready to step through the door he heard Savannah call his name.
He turned around and saw that her room was right across the hall from the nursery, he said, "you go ahead in and start bonding with our daughter and I'll be right there", she smiled and kissed his lips gently and said, "I love you", he said, "and I love you baby girl", she then followed Shelly while he walked across the hall.
He stopped outside her door and told the guard who he was and the guard said, "I'll be right here", Derek said, "thanks" and then slowly and hesistantly walked into Savannah's room and said, "what did you want Savannah?",she blew out a deep breath and said, "I don't want you raising my daughter".
Derek laughed and crossed his arms over his chest and said, "she hasn't been your daughter since she was born because that second you lost your rights to be her mother", tears streamed down her face and Derek said, "awwwwww, stop with the fake tears Savannah".
She said, "I love my daughter", Derek said, "her name is Sophia Grace Morgan", Savannah shook her head and said, "that will never happen", he said, "it already has, the judge has signed off on it, so when that little girl gets out of here and is able to fly home, we will all be flying back to Virginia".
Savannah said, "don't take her away, she's mine", Derek shook his head and said, "she's not yours, she belongs to me and Penelope and we will love and raise her as ours, she will be raised as Hank's sister", Savannah said, "I don't want that fat cow raising my child, what part of that don't you understand?", he just laughed and shook his head.
He stepped closer to her bed and said, "you listen to me, you are not fit to be a mother, you drugged me, made my family think I was dead, you brought me here and the drugs you gave me were taking my memory away chunk by chunk but I will thank God everyday that Reid and JJ found me, they saved me and reunited me with the love of my life, with my baby girl".
She shook her head and said, "my plan was working, you had already forgotten her name and if we could have had a few more weeks things would have been perfect, you would have been mine and then our daughter would have both of her parents".
Derek said, "that innocent child, my daughter, mine and Penelope's daughter will never know about you, she will be raised as our daughter, she will never know what a horrible, horrible person you truly truly are".
She screamed, "YOU BASTARDDDDDD", he said, "have a good life in your new home, now if you will excuse me I'm going to go join my wife in visiting with our daughter", Savannah shook her head and said, "this isn't over Derek, do you hear me this isn't overrrrrr".
As he walked toward the door he said, "oh it's over Savannah, you will be heading back to your new home, where you will spend the rest of your life", he waved at her and said, "goodbye", she said, "THIS ISN'T OVERRRRRRRRRR, DO YOU HEAR ME, THIS ISN'T OVERRRRRRRRRR" .
Derek walked across the hall and looked back over his shoulder and said, "this is over Savannah, you and Sam will both pay for everything that you've done to me and my family and that's a promise", he then walked through the door where he got gowned and masked up and then joined Penelope and Shelly in the nursery.
