Well hello! Here is a new chapter of Naruko's secret-fanfiction. I took some inspiration for this chapter from the Sakura Hime no Kaden-manga, which I do not own the rights to. See you in the next chapter.
"Has anyone been here since the destruction of this village?" Naruko thought as she took pictures of the destroyed Uzuchiogakure with her camera.
"According to the old paintings that Tsunade-sama showed me earlier, this used to be a beautiful village. It's a shame that this village was destroyed", Naruko thought as she put her camera in her bag, and left the village. He had just found a scroll in the destroyed village that he planned to examine later.
"Iruka-sensei must have already noticed that I left Konoha. He must have been worried and wants to teach me a lesson, but I had to leave Konoha so that I wouldn't feel like a third wheel when I was with Sasuke and Sakura. I just wanted Sasuke to look at me at least once during the day the same way he only looks at Sakura now. What exactly is wrong with me that Sasuke didn't look at me like that? I do know a couple of things very well. I don't dress as fashionably as Ino, and I'm not an Iryo-nin trained by Tsunade-sama like Sakura is. I need to forget about those things and focus on this trip", Naruko thought as she walked towards Hoshigakure no Sato. He hadn't seen his friend Sumaru who lived in Hoshigakure for a long time.
Naruko looked at the ruins of Uzuchiogkure once more and bowed to them, then started walking in the direction of where Hoshigakure no Sato was.
Naruko arrived as the sun was setting.
"What are you doing here Naruko?" Sumaru asked after seeing Naruko standing in front of the front door.
"I decided to come see you after a long time. You've grown since the last time I saw you", Naruko said hugging Sumaru.
"So are you. Sure come in", Sumaru said as he led Naruko into his home closing the door behind them both. "What happened to your hair?"
"It's hard to explain", Naruko said.
"Well, from one thing to another. How have you been, Sumaru?" Naruko asked sitting on a nearby couch.
"I'm fine, even though I'm not Hoshikage yet. How about you?" Sumaru asked.
"I'm not Hokage yet, but I'm going to achieve that dream. Right now, I'm mostly just traveling to figure out things about my clan", Naruko said.
"What do you mean?" Sumaru asked.
"My clan long ago came from Uzushiogakure ne Sato in Uzu no Kuni. The Senju clan of Konoha, and the Uzumaki clans of Uzushiogakure are distantly related to each other, and long ago there was a strong connection between Konoha and Uzushiogakure. My clan specialized in Fuinjutsu. My people were vibrant, and Uzushiogakure was indeed said to be a village of long life. Although some Uzumaki were also a bit grumpy people. The red swirl pattern on my Chunin vest is the symbol of Uzushiogakure. It is still used in Konoha as a sign of the strong relationship between Konoha and Uzushiogakure. However, Uzushiogakure is no more. During the wars, my clan's Fuinjutsu were feared, and eventually all of Uzushiogakure no Sato was destroyed. My surviving relatives scattered around the world hiding their identities for safety", Naruko said.
"So you're trying to find more information about your clan?" Sumaru asked.
Naruko nodded.
"I was just exploring the ruins of my clan's old village, and I found this scroll there. May I examine it here?" Naruko asked placing the scroll on the table.
Sumaru nodded.
Naruko opened the scroll, and pressed one of the seal patterns on the scroll, which revealed a light blue crystal that was shaped like a teardrop. The crystal shimmered slightly, and was the size of an acorn. Finally it landed in Naruko's hands:
"Could I borrow one of this village's messenger birds, and send this scroll, and the crystal that just appeared from it, to Konoha for research?"
"Sure. I'm going to get the messenger bird. Wait a minute", Sumaru went to find the messenger bird.
Naruko took a piece of paper and a pen from her gear bag and started writing a message to Tsunade:
"Tsunade-sama, I've already gone to explore the ruins of Uzushiogakure, and I found something interesting there that I'm sending you to explore. The crystal mentioned in this letter appeared in the scroll I found in the ruins of Uzushiogakure when I pressed one, the seal pattern on that scroll. Could you examine that crystal, as I'm sending now for you to explore? I'm now in Hoshigakure no Sato. I don't know where I'll travel to next. Maybe I'll go to Yuki no Kuni to meet Kazahana Koyuki, or maybe I'll go to Nadeshiko no Sato to meet Shizuka who lives there. I don't know where in Ninja Land I'll be when the research results are ready, but will you let me know about the research results at some point? Best regards, Naruko".
Sumaru returned after a while with a messenger hawk, and a package in which Naruko put a crystal, a scroll, and a letter. Sumaru then tied the package to the hawk's back, and sent the hawk flying towards Konoha.
"Thank you, Sumaru", Naruko said.
"Please. Would you like to sleep now?" Sumaru asked.
"Of course. Thanks for the suggestion", Naruko said placing her supplies on the floor, then settled down to sleep on the sofa as the sun set.
