Chapter Six
Kowalski has to be an excellent swimmer. He could see a small cavern after swimming 1,000 yards from the damaged flying sub and stopping for a moment after feeling a slight tremor while swirling up the deep, dark waters.
Afterward, he swam into the cavern with the waters thinning until he reached the ground and crystalline ceiling. He had been amazed for the most part when he was able to remove his air mask to test it for his breathing.
Testing the oxygen for a moment to find out that it was good to breathe. He took off his air mask to be hooked on the side of his swimming suit. The entire cave was filled with crystalline brightening up the cave and Kowalski's eyes.
This is when he started to explore the cave forgetting all about Chief Sharkey from inside of the flying sub.
One thing is for sure there was plenty of space with no viable sightings of any humanoids or animals at the moment. This was going to be a good place to stay safe for now until they can be rescued.
Placing back on his air mask and oxygen. He jumped back into the icy waters to find himself near the flying sub's location.
Moving into the first airlock to bring himself inside. He was able to knock on the inner door letting Sharkey know about the cavern.
"Really Kowalski! Just our luck this time?" Sharkey cried out having taken out a protein bar to keep his energies going.
"Are you going to be able to swim with me to the Cavern?" Kowalski had to ask the importance of the question.
With a shake of his head having placed the last of the protein bar into his mouth. "Let me place on my suit and we will be off and running." He cried out with the response. He had changed out of his clothing placing them into a plastic bag vacuum-proof, along with the supplies to be staying inside the cavern.
Chief Francis Sharkey was amazed at how close was the particular cavern. It didn't take but twenty minutes to reach the cavern while standing up after reaching the front barrier.
"Come this way Chief. There is enough lighting to see where we're going?" Kowalski had said to his superior and friend for the longest time.
Taking his time with settling down. Sharkey was more tired than anything else. He told Kowalski that he had a first shift with watching it out for any invaders.
There were two small waterproof blankets with Sharkey to taken one of them for covering. He was feeling slightly cold from being inside the very strange cavern. There was very little noise at the moment as he looked over at Kowalski carrying his laser weapon in hand as he settled down up against the cavern wall. Even though he looked up to see the Crystalline ceiling.
Moments later, he had fallen asleep.

On board the Siberian Tiger
Captain Richter had asked his radioman to send another coded message regarding those of the diving bell.
He had asked his security people what had been going on with those abducted and the treatment they were getting by them.
When the main security officer called him on the speaker from inside his office. The three women were having a hard time trying to adjust to the sexual abuse by his officers. Even Doctor Mendez finally had protested of his wife and the others.
He had screamed for the protection of the United Nations, etc. At any rate, the Russians won't be listening at all during this difficult time.
Captain Richter having been summoned to the security region to see Doctor Mendez. He was tied up against a wall naked waiting for the next move on him. The other two doctors have been placed in separate areas.
He had been more concerned regarding his wife Louise having to have found out that she was two months pregnant. Having to be sexually abused will only cause her to lose the fetus to make matters worse.
Captain Richter asked the young security officer to let him inside the room. The young guard took out the key hanging down his black pants pocket.
Walking inside with a slight smirk on his face. He will let the doctor loose from the wall while asking the guard to help him down into a brown chair for now. Captain Richter asked the soldier to bring over a cup of cold water for the doctor to drink.
The soldier handed it to the captain for now. "Doctor Mendez, I want you to drink the water before taking you over to that bed to sleep for a few hours." He ordered with the doctor needing to catch his breath.
Looking up at the Captain in his full dress uniform. He will say the following. "Why, Captain giving me the water?" he barked out with his response.
"Drink the water and I will tell you the answer," Richter remarked handing him the large container filled with the cold water.
Doctor Mendez will take his time drinking the water without choking. And in the meantime, he was shaking slightly from being without clothes for a while and the abusive treatment by the soldiers.
