Chapter 5

At six in the evening Naruto got his best birthday present ever - a family when the Anbu Cat fetched him to the hokage office on the orders of Sandaime Hokage.

When Naruto reached, he asked rather loudly " Jiji! Why did you call me here? Cat-chan wouldn't tell me. "

His usual enthusiasm caused Lord third to chuckle. "Calm down Naruto. I have a surprise for you. "

This got Naruto to be confused. " Surprise? But you already gave me a birthday present."

"Yes Naruto but- " this is as far as he went before -

"Naruto" came a voice behind him that startled the hell out of him.

"Ahh who are you and how do you know my name? " shouted Naruto.

Asahi just gave a small sad smile before kneeling in front of Naruto " Hello Naruto My name is Asahi and" Asahi hesitated " I am your Uncle from your father's side. "

Naruto froze on the spot " Wha- my uncle bu- but I am an orphan. "

After celebrating Naruto's birthday Minato left Naruto with Asahi since he had to officially meet the Hokage as the clan head of Namikaze clan and settle some things before he could shift Naruto there and establish his Namikaze clan in Konoha. Although Asahi refused to let Naruto spend one more second in that rundown apartment the council had given him to take care of himself. Both of them spent the night in the motel.
