On the streets near a house, there stood a woman named Minerva McGonagall. Her hair, which was combed back into a tight bun, was as black as a raven's feathers. She wore emerald green robes that flowed around her like a river of silk. Square spectacles rested on her nose, matching the markings around her eyes. Her pointed hat, cocked to one side, completed her attire with finesse.
However, Minerva's countenance was far from serene; it was filled with an array of emotions that seemed to be at war with each other. She was overwhelmed with sadness, sorrow, and most of all hate or anger - both to be precise.
These emotions were the result of the tragic loss of two precious people, taken away by the wizarding templars. Minerva knew these people dearly, and the thought of their untimely demise filled her heart with an insurmountable grief.
The Templar Order, a clandestine and transnational organization, has been striving for thousands of years to gain control of humanity. They believe that by doing so, they can uplift the condition of humanity and establish a lasting world peace. Their ultimate goal is to create a perfect global society which they call the New World Order. This society would be governed by the Templar Order, either directly or through a shadow regime that manipulates states and society from behind the scenes.
As a result of the actions of this nefarious corporation, two dear friends/former students of McGonagall's has lost their son, who is now an orphan. McGonagall is currently holding the child in her arms, feeling the weight of the tragedy caused by the Templar Order's actions.
As the proffesor held the boy in her arms, sound asleep, she couldn't help but think about the turmoil that had occurred only a few hours ago. Professor McGonagall had received word that some of her former students were in trouble, and that the knight templar had become increasingly vicious and powerful lately.
McGonagall had warned them to be cautious, as the danger they were facing was very real and could not be taken lightly. However, the Maddox family had reassured her that everything was under control. But the professor couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that lingered within her.
In an attempt to be of assistance, McGonagall decided to visit the Maddox family at their home. However, upon her arrival, she was met with a horrifying sight. The house was engulfed in flames, burning from the inside out. The professor knew that she had arrived too late, and that the family she had come to help was already gone.
As she hurriedly makes her way inside the house, her heart races with fear and anticipation. Her worst fears are confirmed as she lays her eyes on Jacob Maddox, who is sitting on the ground, his body drenched in blood. The room is in disarray, and the air is thick with a sense of foreboding. A quick glance around the room reveals the horrifying truth - both Jacob and his wife, Isabella Maddox, have been brutally murdered
As she approaches Jacob, her eyes are drawn on the sleeping baby. Jacob seems to be tightly held a sleeping baby named Jace Maddox in his hand, as if protecting him from any harm that may come his way. It was evident that Jacob had been shielding the child until his last breath, as if trying to ensure that nothing would ever harm this innocent soul.
Minerva found herself in a difficult situation. She knew that she was too old to adopt and raise the baby boy, Jace, as her own. As a result, she had to make a decision that she hoped would be in the best interest of the Maddox family who had entrusted her with Jace's care. With a heavy heart and a deep sense of responsibility, Minerva made up her mind.
She found herself standing nervously in front of the family's home, with baby Jace in her arms. She took a deep breath and rang the doorbell, hoping that she was doing the right thing. The wait felt like an eternity, but soon enough, a woman with dark brown hair and hazel eyes opened the door. She was tall and lean, standing at an impressive height of 5'5". Minerva couldn't help but feel intimidated by her, but she knew that this was the only way to ensure that baby Jace would have the best possible future.
The woman, taken aback by Minerva's unexpected presence, furrows her brows in confusion. She glances at the clock and notices the late hour. "Minerva?" she asks, puzzled. "What brings you here at this time? And who is with you?" She peers behind Minerva, trying to catch a glimpse of the person standing behind her.
Minerva heaves a deep sigh, knowing that what she is about to reveal won't be easy. "It's a long story," she says, her voice tinged with weariness. "Can we come inside first? I'd rather not discuss this out here."
The woman nods understandingly and steps aside to let Minerva and her companion in. "Of course," she says, gesturing for them to enter. "Make yourselves comfortable. I'll put the kettle on."
The husband eventually stirred awake a few minutes later, joining his wife in the living room. They sat together with cups of warm tea, while Minerva carefully explained the situation to them. It was clear that the young couple was both saddened and confused by what they were hearing.
Minerva's familiarity with the couple stemmed from her prior interactions with Mia Helprin, a talented florist who also sold Hogwarts merchandise on the side. The two had met when Minerva visited Mia's shop in search of some supplies. Mia's husband, Liam Helprin, was a lawyer of great repute, known for his skill and expertise in his field.
Despite the couple's shock and sadness at the news of Jace's parents' murder, they still had many questions and concerns. Minerva did her best to address each of them, offering comfort and support as they navigated this difficult time.
Liam was curious and asked Minerva. "So why did the Maddox's choose you to take care of their child?"
Minerva let out a heavy sigh before answering. "The Maddox family was a very private and secretive family, and they had entrusted me with the care of their child in their will. But the truth is, I am not able to take care of Jace anymore."
Mia was intrigued and asked. "Why can't you take care of Jace?"
Minerva hesitated for a moment before answering. "I'm getting old and my health is not what it used to be. I simply don't have the energy to take care of a child anymore."
Liam reassured Minerva. "We can't possibly take Jace away from you. You have been taking care of him for so long, and he is used to you."
Minerva looked at Liam with gratitude. "I knew you would say that, but I have been thinking about this for a while. I remember you mentioning that you and Mia were planning to adopt, and I thought, why not give Jace to you? I know you will take good care of him."
Minerva gently waves her hand, her eyes filled with compassion. "Nonsense, I want to do this," she says with a reassuring smile. "And I have a feeling that Isabel and Jacob would love for a couple as nice as you guys to raise their son." With that, she carefully hands Jace over to the couple.
Mia's eyes brim with tears, her heart overwhelmed with gratitude and joy. She and her husband had longed for a child of their own, but had been unable to conceive. Holding Jace in her arms, she feels a sense of completeness that she never thought was possible. Her husband, too, is filled with happiness, but his joy is tinged with sorrow at the thought of Jace's parents having to die in order for them to have this moment.
Taking a deep breath, Mia looks up at Minerva and asks. "So what's the next step?" With a nod of agreement, the couple confirms that they are willing to take Jace in as their own son. The weight of their decision feels heavy, but Mia and her husband know that they are ready to take on the responsibility and love Jace with all their hearts.
"You guys will have to sign his adoption papers later, and I've already sent baby stuff for Jace as it'll be here tomorrow too." Minerva explains to the couple.
"Will we have to tell him what happened to his parents when he's older?" Liam asked.
Minerva sat across from the young couple, her expression gentle as she spoke. "No...it's best that all he knows is that his parents died in a car crash, nothing more. I don't think he will be ready to find out his parents were murdered and have a legacy to become," she explained, her voice soft and understanding.
Mia and her partner nodded in agreement, grateful for Minerva's guidance. "I've also taken the liberty to get his parents' will in order as they had some plans for Jace to inherit when he's older," Minerva added, a smile playing at the corners of her lips.
Mia's eyes widened in gratitude. "Thank you so much, Minerva," she said, her voice filled with emotion. "We will cherish him."
Minerva's smile grew wider. "I know you will. I'll be around as his aunt, if I don't say so myself," she said, causing all three to laugh.
As they lifted their gazes towards the vast expanse of the dark sky above them, the brilliant full moon illuminated their features with a soft, comforting radiance, infusing their faces with a warm and tranquil glow.
So this is a story I've been working on for a month now and I'm finally happy to post this. Been watching Harry Potter for the first time in forever and thought why not make my own version, but with a few twists. It will follow the movie version as I have yet to read the book, but I plan too. This is a new OC called Jace Maddox, and he has a special role in his future. Now if you guys know the Temple Order or the Knight Templar then you know what they are known for and how the Maddox family are and their reputation means. But I won't spoil it here, so please stay tune as this is my first Harry Potter story and I plan to do it right. I've also going to do a bit of bashing because let's be honest Dumbledore was horrible and manipulative at his job...and a bit of Ron bashing too.
Please leave a comment as well as follow/favorite this story please.
UltraPhantom, out! PEACE!
