Brooke awoke instantly recalling what had happened between them.
And unlike last time. The guilt and shame wasn't there.
"Are we going to act like this didn't happen?"
"I don't want. I can't. I love you. I'm in love with you Brooke."
"Rewriting the past isn't possible. But we can start a new fresh future together. I want to make you happy. To feel loved. Safe. Secure." Lucas proclaimed.
"I want us to be a real family." Lucas said.
Brooke looked to him. "But what if it doesn't work out?" She questioned.
"But what if it did and what we wanted long ago dreamed about really happened. Let me be the guy who gives you what you need. What you want. To put you and our boys first."
"I can't give you gurantees. But i can give you my heart. My effort and everything i am." Lucas proclaimed.
The expression on her face softened.
She focused on him.
"I love you too. We can have something better. Long standing."
"If we're honest and work together to give our boys what we didn't have."
"Okay. I want to be with you. In every way. Forever." Brooke admitted.
Lucas reached over taking her hand in his and kissed it.
Brooke caressed her hand with his face.
"We can't just stay in this room. We'll never get anything done." Brooke said.
"You say that like its a bad thing." Lucas replied.
Brooke laughed and smiled.
"Come on. Let's rejoin the world. After a long shower." Lucas added in.
"Lucas i'm being serious." Brooke said.
"I am too. We shower get redressed and get some food." Lucas replied.

Awhile Later
As much as Brooke tried to concentrate on work.
Her heart soared. She felt hopeful and excited for the future.
"Are we finally going to smooth things over Haley.?"
"I really liked the way our friendship was going."
"And I want to get our friendship back on track." Brooke said.
When Haley walked into Clothes over bros.
"If it works out how i want it too."
"Lucas and Peyton will be on their way to reuniting."
"I don't want you with Lucas. What makes you any better then Carrie or Renee."
"They were married that matters more then a high school fling Brooke. I'm sorry but its true." Haley replied. Before leaving the store.
