Chapter one
Life was busy in the city of Philadelphia, especially in Dr. Franklin's printshop.
Moses, James, and Henri we're working the printing press while Sarah was writing a letter to her mother. Henri, on the other hand, wasn't feeling like working the printing press. All he wanted to do was go out and play.
"oh Mon dieu. Im so bored. When is this ever going to get finished?"
"Would you quit complaining for once, Henri?", James shot at him.
"people are waiting on this paper. We need to get this done."
"But why can't we wait. I want to go out and play."
Moses assured,
"You'll get to go soon, Henri. Just be patient and get this done. It won't take long, I promise."
"I think you need to listen to Moses, Henri," Sarah added. "It certainly won't take too long. I've seen you do it faster than what you're doing it right now."
Knowing that Sarah was right, Henri sighed.
"Fine. I'll finish this, but don't expect me to take my time on this."
As told, Henri then got to work on the printing press more quickly. Eventually, the printing was finished, he sighed deeply, leaning against the printing press.
"See? It wasn't that hard," James said. Henri glared at him.
"Yeah, Yeah. Well, I'm going out now."
"Don't be gone too long," Moses said. "I won't." Henri was about to head out the door when it suddenly opened. Standing in the doorway was his hero and greatest role model, Marquis de Lafayette.
"Bonjour my good friends. It is vey great to see you all today," he said with a grate smile.
