Ash Ketchum and Pikachu were no strangers to travel, but their journey to Beacon Academy promised to be unlike any other they had undertaken. After their decision to accept Professor Ozpin's invitation, the first challenge was figuring out how to get there. Delia suggested something Ash had never heard of before: a special flight to Remnant.
"A special flight?" Ash asked, tilting his head in confusion. "What's that, Mom?"
Delia smiled, her eyes twinkling with a mixture of nostalgia and affection. "Remnant is a world very different from ours, Ash. It's where your uncle Ozpin lives and where Beacon Academy is located. To get there, you need to take a special kind of flight, one that isn't like the usual ones you take for Pokémon journeys."
"But how do we find this special flight?" Ash asked, feeling a bit overwhelmed by the unfamiliar terms.
"I'll arrange it for you," Delia said, reassuring him. "Just trust me, Ash. Everything will be fine."
Ash nodded, trusting his mother implicitly. "Okay, Mom. If you say so."
"Pika pika!" Pikachu chimed in, sharing Ash's mix of excitement and curiosity.
Delia made a few phone calls, her conversation filled with references to portals and coordinates that left Ash even more curious. Within a few hours, she had everything arranged.
"You'll need to go to the Viridian City airport," Delia explained. "There's a special terminal for interdimensional travel. Once you get there, just show them this pass." She handed Ash a small, intricately designed card that seemed to shimmer with an otherworldly glow.
"Thanks, Mom," Ash said, giving her a hug. "We'll be back soon, I promise."
Delia hugged him back, holding him a little longer than usual. "I know you will, Ash. Just be careful and remember, no matter where you go, you always have a home here."
With their bags packed and Pikachu by his side, Ash set off for Viridian City.
Moments later...
At the Viridian City airport, Ash and Pikachu made their way to the designated terminal. It was tucked away from the main concourse, with a sign that read "Interdimensional Travel: Authorized Personnel Only."
"This must be it," Ash said, holding the pass his mother had given him.
"Pika," Pikachu agreed, eyes wide with curiosity.
Approaching the gate, Ash handed the pass to the attendant, a stern-looking woman with a professional demeanor. She examined the pass, nodded, and motioned for them to follow.
"Right this way, Mr. Ketchum," she said, leading them to a small, private lounge. "Your flight will be ready shortly."
Ash and Pikachu sat down, marveling at the luxurious surroundings. They didn't have to wait long before a voice announced over the intercom, "Special flight to Remnant now boarding."
The attendant returned and guided them to a sleek, futuristic-looking jet. As they boarded, Ash noticed that the interior was unlike any plane he had ever seen. The seats were plush, and the walls were adorned with strange symbols and glowing lights.
"Wow," Ash whispered, taking it all in. "This is incredible."
"Pika!" Pikachu echoed, equally impressed.
Once they were seated and buckled in, the jet began its ascent. The flight attendants, all wearing uniforms that matched the futuristic aesthetic of the jet, moved about efficiently, ensuring everyone was comfortable.
As the jet reached cruising altitude, the captain's voice came over the intercom. "Welcome aboard the special flight to Remnant. We will be passing through a dimensional portal shortly, so please remain seated and enjoy the ride."
Ash and Pikachu exchanged excited glances as the jet entered a swirling vortex of colors and lights.
The flight smoothed out as they exited the portal, and within minutes, they began their descent. Looking out the window, Ash saw a landscape that was both beautiful and unfamiliar. Rolling hills, dense forests, and sprawling cities dotted the landscape, all under a sky that seemed to shimmer with a unique brilliance.
The jet landed gracefully on a runway surrounded by lush greenery. As they disembarked, Ash and Pikachu were greeted by a group of people wearing the same uniforms as the flight attendants.
"Welcome to Remnant, Mr. Ketchum," one of them said with a polite bow. "Professor Ozpin is expecting you."
Ash followed the group, marveling at the new world around him. They were led to a sleek, black car that whisked them away toward Beacon Academy. The drive was filled with breathtaking sights, from towering mountains to sparkling rivers, all hinting at the adventures that awaited.
Moments later...
Ash Ketchum and Pikachu walked through the gates of Beacon Academy, their eyes wide with wonder. The school grounds were vast and beautiful, with towering buildings that seemed to touch the sky, lush gardens filled with exotic flowers, and groups of students moving about, each seemingly absorbed in their own activities. It was a sight unlike anything they had encountered in their previous journeys.
"Wow, Pikachu," Ash said, his voice filled with awe. "This place is amazing!"
"Pika!" Pikachu agreed, his ears twitching in excitement.
As they strolled through the campus, Ash couldn't help but notice the whispers and curious glances directed their way. Some students had distinctive features that made them stand out: a girl with a long, bushy tail, a boy with fox-like ears, and others with various animal traits or unusual skin patterns. Despite the peculiar looks, Ash was more focused on finding his uncle, Professor Ozpin.
Just as Ash was about to ask someone for directions, a sharp female voice interrupted his thoughts. "Hey you!"
Ash and Pikachu turned around to see a girl with striking white hair and icy blue eyes glaring at them. She wore a pristine white dress and carried herself with an air of authority.
"Oh, uh hey?" Ash responded awkwardly, not sure how to react.
The girl frowned, stepping closer and studying Ash's features intently. After a moment, she leaned back, crossing her arms. "How old are you?" she asked, her tone demanding.
Ash blinked in confusion, caught off guard by the question. "Um, 15? Why?"
The girl's scowl deepened. "You shouldn't be here."
"What?" Ash asked, utterly lost.
Ignoring him momentarily, the girl's gaze fell on Pikachu. She squinted, clearly puzzled by the small, yellow creature. "And what is this strange... yellow..." Pikachu stared back at her with wide, innocent eyes.
"Adorable little guy! Come here, you!" Without warning, she snatched Pikachu off Ash's shoulder and began cuddling him, her strict demeanor softening as she did.
"Um, I don't think you should—" Ash started, but the girl continued to ignore him, cooing at Pikachu.
Pikachu, initially confused, soon had enough of the uninvited affection. With a determined expression, he unleashed a powerful Thunderbolt, shocking the girl and sending her sprawling to the ground.
"PIKA!" Pikachu exclaimed, leaping back to Ash's shoulder, clearly displeased.
The girl lay on the ground, her hair slightly frazzled from the shock. She groaned and sat up, rubbing her head. "What was that for?" she demanded, her icy demeanor returning.
Ash hurried over, offering her a hand. "I'm really sorry about that. Pikachu doesn't like being grabbed by strangers."
She hesitated before taking his hand and standing up. "I suppose that's understandable," she muttered, brushing herself off. "But you still haven't answered my question. Why are you here?"
Ash sighed, realizing he needed to explain himself. "I'm here to see Professor Ozpin. He invited me to Beacon Academy."
The girl's eyes widened slightly at the mention of Ozpin. "Professor Ozpin invited you?" she repeated, her tone now tinged with curiosity. "Why would he do that?"
"I... I'm not entirely sure," Ash admitted. "He said he's my uncle and thought Beacon would be a good place for me to learn more about him."
"Your uncle?" The girl's expression softened, and she seemed to be re-evaluating Ash. "I'm Weiss Schnee, by the way. One of the students here."
"Ash Ketchum," he replied with a smile. "And this is Pikachu."
"Pika!" Pikachu added, more cheerful now that he was safely back on Ash's shoulder.
Weiss took a deep breath, her earlier irritation fading. "Well, if Ozpin invited you, there must be a reason."
"Weiss!"
Weiss groaned, instantly recognizing the voice. Ash and Pikachu turned to see a girl with short black hair streaked with red running towards them. She was accompanied by two other girls, one with long blond hair and another with black hair and a bow on her head.
"Ruby..." Weiss muttered, rubbing her temple as if to ward off a headache.
The three girls approached quickly, their curiosity piqued by the unfamiliar faces. The girl with the red-tipped hair, Ruby, was the first to speak. "Who's this?" she asked, her wide eyes fixed on Ash. Her gaze then shifted to Pikachu, and she squealed with delight. "Aww, it looks so cute!"
Ruby reached out and scooped Pikachu into her arms, cuddling him tightly. Ash, remembering what happened with Weiss, quickly tried to warn her. "Uh, Ruby, you might not want to—"
His warning fell on deaf ears as Pikachu, uncomfortable with the sudden attention, released another Thunderbolt. Ruby yelped in pain and dropped to the ground, twitching from the shock.
"Oh no, Ruby!" the blond girl cried out, rushing to her sister's side but quickly getting sidetracked when she noticed Ash. "Oh, who are you?" she purred, a playful grin spreading across her face.
Ash blushed a little at her forwardness. Weiss rolled her eyes, clearly exasperated. "He's Ash, and at least he's tolerable compared to you and Ruby, Yang," Weiss introduced.
Yang grinned even wider. "Oh, is he your boyfriend then, Weiss?" she teased.
Weiss frowned, her cheeks turning a faint shade of pink. "Get real... We just met."
"So, he's available then. Great!" Yang said, her grin never fading.
"You're impossible," Weiss sighed, shaking her head.
Meanwhile, the girl with the black hair and bow, Blake, was quietly staring at Pikachu. Her eyes narrowed as her cat Faunus instincts kicked in, causing her to lick her lips subconsciously. Pikachu shivered, sensing the predatory gaze.
"Uh, what happened?" Ruby groaned as she finally recovered from the shock.
"You got zapped by Pikachu," Yang said, helping her sister to her feet. "Don't worry, it happens to the best of us."
Ruby pouted, still rubbing her head. "Well, I guess I know now not to squeeze too hard."
"Sorry about that," Ash apologized, feeling a bit guilty. "Pikachu doesn't like being grabbed by strangers."
Ruby gave a small, sheepish smile. "It's okay. I should have asked first."
"Anyway," Weiss interjected, trying to regain some semblance of order. "Ash, these are my teammates. This is Ruby Rose, Yang Xiao Long, and Blake Belladonna."
"Nice to meet you all," Ash said, waving at each of them.
"Pika!" Pikachu added, more relaxed now that he was back on Ash's shoulder.
"So, what brings you here, Ash?" Ruby asked, her curiosity still piqued.
"I'm here to see Professor Ozpin," Ash explained. "He invited me to Beacon Academy."
"Professor Ozpin invited you?" Blake asked, finally speaking up. "That's pretty unusual."
"Yeah, he's my uncle," Ash said, still wrapping his head around the revelation. "He thought Beacon would be a good place for me to learn and maybe know a little bit more about him."
"Your uncle?" Yang repeated, clearly intrigued. "That's cool. Guess we'll be seeing a lot more of you then."
"Looks like it," Ash said with a grin.
Ruby's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Oh, this is going to be so much fun! We should totally show you around."
Weiss sighed but couldn't hide a small smile. "I suppose a tour wouldn't hurt."
"Before you give Ash a little tour around Beacon, mind if I have a moment with my nephew, ladies?"
The group turned to see Professor Ozpin standing nearby, with Glynda Goodwitch at his side. Glynda's expression was stern, her gaze fixed disapprovingly on Team RWBY.
"Professor Ozpin!" Weiss said, straightening up immediately.
"Hey, Professor!" Ruby greeted cheerfully, while Yang and Blake nodded respectfully.
Ash stared at Ozpin in awe. This was the man who claimed to be his uncle, someone who had a strained relationship with his mother, Delia. Seeing him in person made the situation feel all the more real.
Ozpin smiled warmly at Ash. "Hello, Ash. I'm glad to see you arrived safely."
"Uh, hi, Professor Ozpin," Ash replied, feeling a bit nervous. "It's good to meet you."
"Pika pika!" Pikachu chimed in, sensing Ash's emotions and offering his support.
Ozpin gestured for Ash to join him. "Let's take a walk. There are a few things I'd like to discuss with you."
Since there's a high demand for this story, I decided to continue it. Thank you for your interest and support! :3
