Century Ramen
Just what kind of ramen could this be exactly was something that was on the mind of Naruto as he was traveling to Hotel Gourmet. The only thing that Naruto knew about that even sounded close to Century Soup was something that Yuffie brought up.
"I think that something called Century Egg existed where I am from" she said racking her brain for details.
"Seriously though it called that it really does not take a century to make more like four to five weeks if I recall correctly" Leviathan said as they spoke through Yuffie again.
"Stop doing that" Yuffie demanded
"No" Leviathan replied
'I thought I had it rough both' Naruto and Kurama thought at the same time.
Kurama had a history with Naruto's family but Yuffie and Leviathan literally were family. Thus why a thing like this was possible as Leviathan was not sealed within Yuffie but merely used the blood connection to see through Yuffie from where supposedly was. The only thing she can not according to her if she had to pick she would like to be sealed somewhere that could be as mobile,
"Though that does sound interesting hey let me hear the details on this Century Egg if possible" Toriko asked.
Komastu was also interested but was not sure if he would have been able to bring it up as easily as Toriko had after all.
They were then told that it would be a ramen version of something known as Century Soup. A rare and high-class ingredient, considered one of the greatest soups in the world. The soup only forms in the center of the inhospitable continent Ice Hell once every 100 years, and only under special circumstances. The original source of Century Soup was Ice Hell's legendary Gourmet Show Window.
"Why would anyone build a hotel in some area as dangerous as that" Terra asked
"That is where Toriko and I managed to find it however the placed where the original existed the e Gourmet Show Window crumbled recently" Komastu told everyone
But wait if the original source no longer exists how can we even create a ramen version, is where you are all probably wondering. Well, the only "true" Century Soup that exists is a modern day recreation made by Chef Komatsu of Hotel Gourmet. So that is why we are heading over there so that my partner can make some himself as normally this is something that you would need to make a reservation in advance for. Although since it was my idea we can get served to us today as you were not planning on doing anything else were you, Komastu Toriko asked
"I should be free for the foreseeable future unless you want to go somewhere but since my job is where you want go then no" the chef replied.
"Can not wait to see how this century ramen will taste" Terra said as started reading a magazine that featured Komatsu's hotel.
Where she read that as the only chef able to make Century Soup, Komatsu single-handedly raises his restaurant's star rating from five to six, and gains a great deal of international fame and prestige. Not only that it was the also known to be the Soup Dish in the famous Gourmet Hunter Toriko's Full Course Menu.
An individual's "ultimate meal." It contains eight courses that he or she has selected as their favored dishes:
Hors d'Oeuvre
Soup
Fish Dish
Meat Dish
Main Course
Salad
Dessert
Drink
As the topic of their talks switched to discussing them this is when the question was brought up. As Naruto, Terra, and Yuffie then started thinknig about what would be on their own if they were to make such a meal
"What would you have on your Full Course Menu" Yuffie asked Naruto directly
"Century Ramen probably" he replied
"You have not even tried it yet though as I just thought it up today actually" Toriko asked.
"If it is as good as this Century Soup then it might be the only ramen better than what was served at my favorite place" he said.
"Maybe I should head over to your hometown then at some point and also try some the food from there" Toriko said
Though as the group continued onward from a distance Coco spotted Toriko but he was too far away to say anything nor did he have a reason to go over to him in the first place. That was until the one he was with saw Toriko and his group
"You want to go meet Toriko" Coco asked
Though he was only guessing this what they meant as they only point in his direction and even started walking that way on their own.
