Hi there, time for the conclusion of the church arc. I know a lot of people keep telling me that I am just doing the same things, but don't worry there will be changes right now. I hope you all be patient and you will all see what I am thinking. Thank you all for being patient.
At the Church
Issei was now pissed and with all his emotions being bottled up, he was filling nothing but rage and sadness, Asia was dead and the person that killed her was standing there mocking him and her. Well Issei had enough and kept attacking Raynare, however the Fallen Angel had Twilight Healing and she kept healing over and over again. Despite that Issei wasn't giving up and proclaiming that he won't lose to the evil woman ever again and then something weird started to happened to his gauntlet.
"What is going on?'' Asked Issei seeing his gauntlet getting bigger and getting brighter.
"Impossible! Your Sacred Gear has evolved!'' Said Raynare now nervous.
The Fallen Angel was now feeling frighten, she had to leave right now but Issei grabbed her by the legs.
"Where are you going?'' Asked Issei now pissed attacking her.
Boost
The Fallen Angel received a big injury and they weren't being healed quickly as she imagined. Issei could still move and was ready to beat her even more.
"Now I can defeat you!'' Said Issei.
Issei broke Raynare spells and light swords, his Sacred Gear was glowing to the point of getting hard to see. He kept attacking over and over again, Raynare was now on the floor and pretty much done for.
"Its look like its over for you.'' Said Rias coming over with the rest of the Peerage and feeling victorious.
"Buchou!'' Said Issei happy to see her.
The devil looked at the defeated Fallen Angel with a smile, it was their victory.
"Do you know about his Sacred Gear? Its one of the 13 Longinus.'' Said Rias.
Raynare just looked at that in shock, she just thought he had a versatile Sacred Gear, not one of the freaking Longinus.
"You put a good fight Fallen Angel, but its over for you and your friends.'' Said Rias.
Raynare was now a bit worried, she hoped her friends were ok. She was defeated and those devils were going to kill her, all she wanted to know was if they got away.
"Any last words?'' Asked Rias.
"What happened to my friends?'' Asked Raynare.
"Your little goons? That little Lolita girl with the maid dress she escaped. She was faster than I expected.'' Said Rias.
"Thank goodness.'' Said Raynare happy knowing that Millet managed to escape, now she had to check on Dohnaseek and Kalawarner.
"What did you say?'' Asked Rias confused.
"Nothing devil.'' Said Raynare.
"Then I will erase you, don't worry it will be quickly.'' Said Rias.
Raynare felt that she was going to die at that very moment, she thought it was all over but then Issei started to shout.
"Come on Asia! You can still wake up! Bucho help me!'' Said Issei and Rias stopped her spell to talk with her pawn.
"I can revive her Issei, just wait a little bit.'' Said Rias.
Raynare saw that opening and opening her wings and fly at full force, faster than she ever did. She was filled with injuries and very weak, but she could still fly. All she had was her friends, she couldn't come back to Grigori because Azazel would just put her behind bars or turn her into a lab rat for his experiments. She wanted to make sure that her friends were ok before they escape from this town.
"I hope they are ok? I sense Dohnaseek sense gone, but Millet and Kalawarner could still be alive.'' Thoguht Raynare escaping.
"She is leaving!'' Scream Issei pissed.
"Should we hunt her?'' Asked Akeno.
"Leave her, she has nothing and brings no harm to my territory.'' Said Rias.
"But Asia is still with a weak pulse, come on Asia keep fighting!'' Said Issei still ttrying to make sure that Asia would recuperate.
Rias saw the Sacred Gear returning to Asia, but the little nun was far gone to get her life back, however Rias did have her Bishop piece with her.
"Issei do you want me to save her?'' Asked Rias.
"Huh?'' Asked Issei.
The church of the Fallen Angel was destroyed and the Gremory House would get a Bishop with a very powerful Sacred Gear, however the Fallen Angels would return.
With Tanjiro
Tanjiro had fully defeated Kalawarner and she was tied up, she wanted to get up but Tanjiro cut really made her weak. Since she wasn't a demon Tanjiro wasn't going to kill her, she was a menace but he wasn't going to use his sword on her because the nichiri blade is for Demons only and cutting the head of another being that wasn't one of those monsters was considered a sin.
At the moment Tanjiro was sniffing around and looking for any more crazy people or winged people. He couldn't sense nothing, but he kept things alert.
"Nothing coming this way. I think they're no more people coming over?'' Asked Tanjiro.
"Aren't you going to kill me?'' Asked Kalawarner.
The Demon Slayer didn't answer, making the Fallen Angel be very annoyed.
"Answer me dammit!'' Said Kalawarner.
"I am not going to kill you.'' Said Tanjiro.
The answer made the Fallen Angel very confused, she was expecting him to either kill her at that very moment or ``abuse`` her before killing her.
"You are not an exorcist?" Asked her.
"No, I am a demon slayer.'' Said Tanjiro.
"For the last time its devils, not demon.'' Said Kalawarner.
"It's a long story.'' Said Tanjrio.
"Kallarwarner!'' Scream someone coming over.
The two turned to see a girl with a maid outfit flying towards the older woman.
"Millet!'' Said the blue haired woman all happy.
"I was so worried about you.'' Said Millet hugging Kalawanrer.
"Millet! Kalawanrer!'' Said someone else.
The girls saw Raynare coming over. Like the others she was appeared to be in a horrible state, but she was happy to see her friends were still alive.
Tanjiro then prepared his sword, but first he wanted to see what things would go.
"Raynare! What happened?'' Asked Millet worried.
"That stupid guy that I tricked has a freacking Longinus as a Sacred Gear, has a BS power and he beat the creep out of me. I lost the nun, Twilight Healing, I lost everything! All I have left is…you two.'' Said Raynare.
"You lost everything?'' Asked Tanjiro a bit confused.
The Fallen Angel girl turned around to see Tanjiro with his sword prepared for action.
"Hey, I remember you. The kid with the sword, what did you do to my friends?'' Asked Raynare.
"He did this to me.!'' Said Kalawarner showing her injuries.
"Well, you did attack me, I had to counter attack.'' Said Tanjiro.
"Are you going to kill us all? Yeah, we did bad things but now we have nothing to fight for! These girls are everything I have left in this world, if you try to kill them you have to go through me!'' Said Raynare.
The black haired Fallen Angel was standing in front of the other two, it was kind of a sweet scene. Tanjiro could tell those girls liked to each other like a family, he was even wondering if there was still salvation on them.
"Aren't you going to attack?'' Asked Raynare.
"No.'' Said Tanjiro.
"Wait what?!'' Asked Raynare.
Tanjiro took a deep breath and put his sword down, he could still attack them but he wasn't going to put his sword back to his waist.
"I can tell you three cares for each other very much. However, I know you are responsible for horrible things, but nothing compared to what I seen demons ever did.'' Said Tanjiro.
"So what will you do?'' Asked Raynare.
"I will let you three go away.'' Said Tanjiro.
The trio were in shock, they never expected someone to say that to them.
"What did you say?'' Asked Raynare.
Soon a magic circle appeared in the ceiling, the girls were now plain in fear and Tanjiro could sense a strong smell of crow, not like these girls, it was like a murder of crows.
"What is going on?" Thought him.
"I found you!'' Said a scary and screech voice.
Then a tall and skinny man with long dark hair appeared. He looked like a demon, but Tanjiro could tell he wasn't one, but he saw he had a lot of dark fethered wings like thos girls.
"Kokabiel!'' Said Raynare.
"Raynare, you failed me! I knew I shouldn't recruited you.'' Said Kokabiel.
"Listen, I can get you something else. Maybe I can get the nun or…'' Said Raynare but Kokabiel stopped.
"Too late, the nun has been added it to the Gremory Peerage. She is now a devil! You failed me! You three failed me!'' Scream him making the girls back away in fear.
"Please, give us a chance. We just wanted to climb up, there is nothing wrong with that.'' Said Millet.
"Do you know how many rules you three broke? Azazel sent me to either arrest you three or dispose of you all. Well since I need you three to be silent, I guess you all know what choice I am aiming for.'' Said Kokabiel making a light sword.
"Mister Kokabiel, we will come with you with no complaining. We will serve our time and we will be your slaves, just don't kill us please!'' Said Kalawarner.
"We don't need three useless Fallen Angels on Grigori. Trust me I can kill you three and nobody would care, Azazel doesn't even bother for your lot. Well, enough talking…time for execution.'' Said Kokabiel making his light sword longer.
The three girls were too weak to fight back, Kokabiel is a high rank Fallen Angel and he could kill them with no problem. However, before he could do something he heard some screaming.
"Water Breathing. Fourth Form: Striking Tide!''
Tanjiro aimed to attack Kokabiel, he could tell that the high rank Fallen Angel has killed a lot of people and he deserved to be executed.
"What is this?'' Asked Kokabiel.
"Don't hurt them!'' Said Tanjiro.
The demon slayer aimed his sword to the creepy fallen angel, while the other three girls were just in shock there was someone helping them.
"What is a human doing here?!'' Asked Kokabiel.
"He just wondered here.' Said Kalawarner.
"Who are you worm?'' Asked Kokabiel.
"My name is Tanjiro Kamado, a demon Slayer.'' Said Tanjiro.
"Demon Slayer?! That doesn't exist. Its Devil you idiot!'' Said Kokabiel.
"Why people keep saying that to me?'' Thoguht Tanjiro.
The High Class Fallen Angel just had a smirk on his face as he prepares his light sword.
"You are interesting, and I don't know if this a holy sword or a Sacred Gear. Either way, you are going to be a fun fight! Then let's go!'' Scream Kokabiel aiming at Tanjiro.
"Water Breathing. Eight Form: Waterfall Basin.''
Tanjiro aimed to kill Kokabiel right on, the two traded blades with the two clashing and dodging every single attack from each other.
"These moves are good kid. Whoever teach you is way better than those old farts from the church.'' Said Kokabiel.
Tanjiro had some trouble in dodging some of those moves later, light swords are very different from the light attacks, and he had to keep concentration to attack later. Once he had a nice space to fight back he could attack again.
"Water Breathing! Fourth Form: Striking Tide!"
"Ha! You are fun kid but this will soon be over!'' Said Kokabiel ready to attack.
The Fallen Angel was ready to hit Tanjiro with the light sword, however the whir poll attack was able to break the sword in half, much to his shock.
CRACK
"What?'' Asked Kokabiel confused.
"aaaah!'' Scream Tanjiro cutting Kokabiel in the chest.
SLASH
"Argh!'' Scream Kokabiel in pain.
The Fallen Angel felt something odd, unlike holy weapons this sword had something he had never felt before, he felt like a burning sensation, almost like his flesh was about to catch fire and he was getting some dizziness.
"What is this?'' Thought Kokabiel.
The Fallen Angel was now pissed and he wanted to know what was that sword.
"What is this? What sword is that?'' Asked him confused.
"Water Breathing. Water Surface Slash!''
Tanjiro this time had put more adrenaline on this attack, his next spot for attack is the neck. Which Tanjiro managed to hit.
Slash
"Argh!'' Scream Kokabiel getting the sword hitting his neck.
The three Fallen Angels girls saw that and were in shock by that, a regular human was defeating Kokabiel who was a powerful Fallen Angel by himself, but this human was holding his own against him with no problem.
"He is so strong!'' Thought Millet.
"What made him protect us?'' Thought Kalawarner.
"Who is he?'' Thoguht Raynare.
Kokabiel was now getting nervous, this kid was going to be more extreme than all the exorcist he has ever faced in his life.
"Is he going to cut my neck!'' Thoguht Kokabiel all annoyed
Tanjiro was trying his best to cut off the Fallen Angel neck, but his neck was tougher than those small class demons.
"His neck is strong, just like the spider demon.'' Thoguht Tanjiro tried his best, but the neck was stronger.
Kokabiel had enough and launched Tanjiro away, he grabbed the teen by his feet and threw him out of his space. He needs it to get some medical treatment because of Tanjiro sword.
"Argh!'' Scream Kokabiel launching Tanjiro away.
"AAAAH.'' Said Tanjiro being launched to the floor.
"You are lucky kid that I wasn't prepared for something like you. Next time, I will obliterate you until there is nothing left, also I am going to get your sword!'' Said Kokabiel.
"What about us?" Asked Raynare.
"I already label you three as traitor for Grigori, plus Azazel has fired you three. I can tell you all attack me and have a new energy! So long traitors! And you too…mister Demon Slayer!'' Said Kokabiel being teleported away.
The huge threat was now gone and Tanjiro was taking a deep breath to compose himself, meanwhile the three girls were wondering what to do.
"We are no longer welcome at Grigori.'' Said Millet all sad.
"And there is no home for us.'' Said Kalawarner.
"What are we going to do?'' Asked Raynare all sad.
Tanjiro saw them all together, all sad and even crying, he could tell that they were really broken and had nowhere else to go.
"What do I do now?" Thoguht him.
So yes, we ended the Asia arc here. All the three girls get to live and Tanjiro has faced Kokabiel a bit early than before. It was fun, but I know a lot of you don't like the way I write fights, but I am perfectly happy with what I made with this fight.
I am going to keep a balance of originality and the things that will be the same from the canon. Tanjiro still has to deal with a future harem to deal with and I want to write some harem shenanigans. The less Issei the better to deal with, your so cool MC hasn't had a new season in 6 years and when your universe finally comes back, he is not even in the book.
Sorry, if I came back to my Issei rant, really don't like him, he gets 70% of those girls due to plot armor. Tanjiro is someone who truly deserves loves after what he saw with his own eyes, I want Tanjiro to be happy and have a nice family.
Next chapter is the aftermath of everything. What will happen?
