The New Girl, part 1
The author was finished setting up the realm when...
"Yo, dude!"
After letting out an annoyed, exasperated sigh, guardian1989 drones in annoyance.
"You can't just stay away, can you Wade?"
"For a DP story, not a chance!" Deadpool says with his thumbs up.
The author gets an idea as he secretly presses a button, causing the doorbell to ring. Deadpool looks at the door before he says
"I'll get it."
The merc opens it to see no one there on the other side. He steps out to take a look around as he said
"Oh, you think this is funny, huh?!" Deadpool shouts at no one. "Better run, you little pranking dipshits!"
The merc had no idea that it was merely a distraction as guardian1989 quickly and silently runs to the door, slams it shut, and immediately locks it. It was too late for Deadpool to realize it as he tried to get back in but found it locked. He starts pounding the door while shouting.
"Hey! Let me in!"
He pounds the door again.
"Come on, dude! Don't do me like this!"
Deadpool pounds the door again
"Let me in!"
And again...
"WILMA!"
The author sighed in annoyance as Deadpool continued to pound the door.
"The only thing worse than a salesman is an annoying merc who mocks other characters terribly." he raised his arm to reveal the watch on his ulnar wrist. "Autoguns, online."
As Deadpool continues to pound on the door, an autogun locks on as he heard the cocking sound as he slowly lowered his arms and said.
"Damn it..."
Inside, the author hears the sound of a tranquilizer dart firing, Deadpool yelling "D'oh" and then hearing him groan until finally hearing a thud.
"Much better." guardian1989 clears his throat. "Now then, I'm basically reviving my very first Danny Phantom fanfic with a few rewrites I have in mind. Hopefully, it'll turn out better than it did previously. Do note that it takes place after the end of the episode Lucky in Love."
The author sits on a theater chair before reaching for a switch.
"Enjoy."
They say a lot of things can happen in such a short amount of time. Well, in a city well-known for a major hotspot of ghost activity called Amity Park, it can be taken to a whole new meaning. Especially a turn of events for one particular boy of fourteen named Danny Fenton. You see, he is the son of well-known ghost hunters named Jack and Maddie Fenton, but what no one knew, except for two of his best friends, Sam Manson and Tucker Foley, Danny is also a half-ghost hero named Danny Phantom.
One event that most would call a major headache for Danny transpired recently; Paulina, the most popular girl in Casper High and Danny's major crush, was possessed by a ghost named Kitty, who did out of spite to make her boyfriend named Johnny 13 jealous. However, thanks to some convincing, both Danny and Johnny 13 made things back to the way they were. Both ghosts were stuck in the Ghost Zone where they belonged.
Yet, despite it all, the results were... in a gray area, as Danny remembered.
Flashback
Paulina was in her locker that was convertered into a shrine dedicated to Danny Phantom, mistakenly named Inviso-Bill, for some reason. Soon, after kissing an image of Danny in his ghost form, she managed to obtain, the Latina closed the door of her locker before pressing her back against it with a smile as she lets out of loving sigh.
Once she walks past a certain trio, Danny casually greets.
"Hey, Paulina."
Paulina glared at him and asked with a cold tone.
"Why are you even talking to me?"
As the Latina continued to walk away, a blonde bucktoothed boy named Riley Mason saw her reaction before he tossed his books he carried and shouts in triumph.
"Yes!"
"Can you believe that?" Danny asks his friends while pointing at Paulina with his thumb. "Paulina is still in love, but with the wrong me!"
Sam had a smile on her face as she said.
"Welcome back to the fold, fellow loser."
Then, Kwan, accompanied by Star and Dash, walks up to Danny as he said.
"Hey, Fenton! I'll be needing that cool kid membership package back!"
"Better yet," Dash pounds his fist into his hand. "We'll beat it out of you after school, Fen-turd!"
As the popular trio walked away, Danny just smiled as he said.
"Oh well. I have to say, it's good to be back among friends, but the popularity sure was nice while it lasted."
Flashback ends
It was Saturday. At a park with plenty of trees, Danny Phantom was dealing with a ghost that escaped the Ghost Zone; a ghost that was in the form of a standard bear ghost. After a few minutes of brawling with the beastly specter, the ghost boy captured it into the Fenton Thermos before sealing the cap.
"Damn, I hope I don't tangle with something like that again." he comments as he flew to cover in order to change back.
However, Danny didn't realize that fate was about to lead him into an event that may change his life forever.
In a secluded area of the park, approximately 3000 feet away from the battleground, there was a teenaged Japanese girl who was completely unaware of a battle that had recently ended. She had short black hair that was an inch above her shoulders with her bangs framing her face beautifully, brown eyes, and fair skin. The girl wore a light gray pullover midriff hoodie that was long-sleeved, pants, and mid calf boots that were black in color. From the pockets of her pants, she pulls out a smartphone and a portable speaker system.
After connecting the devices together, she scrolls through her music list before picking a song to play as she gets on one knee. Though she was minding her own business, she was unaware that she was going to have an audience in a moment.
Nearby, Danny transformed back to his human form. After checking to see the coast was clear, the ghost boy emerged from his hiding place as he was walking in a different direction before he started hearing music playing. In haste, Danny follows the sound to locate the source as he begins to hear the lyrics.
How can you see into my eyes like open doors
In an instant, Danny locates not just the source of the music but who is near it as well. He sees a Japanese girl on one knee forming a sort of hand sign as she slowly rises up while the lyrics continue playing
Leading you down into my core
Where I've become so numb
Suddenly, as the rhythm increased intensity, Danny watched as this girl started to practice martial arts of some sort. Her movements were as quick as they were graceful, leaving him awestruck. The ghost boy remained silent as he watched use a series of punches, kicks, blocks, and evasive maneuvers as if she were fighting against a battalion of unseen enemies.
"Who is she?" Danny thought in wonder. "She's a beauty. In fact, she's more beautiful than even Paulina."
The ghost boy felt like his mind went blank while he continued to watch in awe as the music played on, and the girl took her movements up a notch. As she quickly turned around to block an unseen attack and throw a punch, she finally noticed that she had company. She sees a boy with black hair, blue eyes, and clad in jeans, a white shirt with a red trim on the sleeves, collar, and a red oval on the chest, and red and white sneakers. She turns off the music before asking.
"How did you like the show?"
Danny instantly snapped back to reality, as he said nervously while scratching the back of his head.
"Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to intrude."
The girl chuckled as she said in response.
"You don't need to apologize. I honestly thought I was alone here."
"Oh." was all Danny said before he introduced himself. "Well, I'm Danny Fenton. I'm from around here. You?"
"I'm Kiyomi Watanabe." the girl said as she bowed to Danny before standing up straight. "It's an honor to meet you, Danny-san."
"Kiyomi..." Danny repeats as if tasting the name before smiling. "That's a pretty name."
Kiyomi blushed as she smiled slightly before she heard a growling sound. Looking to see Danny gain a slightly embarrassed look, she heard him say.
"Sorry. I guess I could use some chow." Danny looks into Kiyomi's eyes and asks. "If you want, I'll show you around Amity Park and perhaps treat you to something to eat on the way?"
Kiyomi smiled after she picked up her devices and pockets them as she said.
"I'd be honored."
As the two walked around, Danny gave Kiyomi a small tour of the city before they both approached a fast-food restaurant; one that was familiar to Danny but new to Kiyomi."
"Why is this place called The Nasty Burger?" Kiyomi asks with a slightly unnerved look.
Danny shrugged as he said to her in response.
"Probably as a sick joke or something else, but I can guarantee you that the food is quite delicious there."
Kiyomi nodded in understanding before she followed Danny into the establishment as the ghost boy held the door open.
"Ladies first."
Kiyomi chuckled before she said
"Thank you."
The two entered the restaurant and placed their orders before taking a seat at one of the tables away from the counter.
"So, Danny-san. Since you claim you're from around here, can you tell me about yourself?" Kiyomi asks
Danny had a small smile at the way Kiyomi addressed him as before he said to her in response.
"Well, first off, I'm 14. As you already know, I was born and raised here in Amity Park. I do have an older sister, but she can be a pain at times."
His comment caused Kiyomi to giggle slightly as she continued to listen to him.
"As for my parents..." he paused. "Well, they're scientists, but majority of the time, their inventions blow up in their faces,"
Kiyomi chuckled at his comment before she said.
"They sound like interesting people."
"In a way, yeah." Danny said with a slight shrug.
"Any plans for your future?" Kiyomi asks in interest.
"Well, I want to become an astronaut and work for NASA someday." Danny replies to her. "Let's just say I have a knack for astronomy."
Kiyomi smiled at him as she subtly saw that this boy she was getting to know got a little weak in the knees when it came to cute girls. Then, the Japanese girl said to him.
"Sounds like you got a good head on your shoulders."
Danny smiled at her compliment. To the ghost boy, this girl seemed genuinely kind to him as she listened without any interruptions. Soon, it was Danny's turn to ask.
"So, can you tell me about yourself?"
"Of course." Kiyomi began. "I'm also 14, but I'll turn 15 pretty soon. I'm originally from Tokyo, Japan. My father's company transferred to this city some time ago while my mother got promoted to Medical Director. That's how I ended up here a few days ago."
"Wow. I'm glad your mother got the promotion." Danny remembers one other detail. "By the way, what were you doing in the park?"
"Oh, I was practicing ninjutsu." Kiyomi casually said.
"Wait! You're a ninja?" Danny asks in shock.
"A kunoichi, but yes." Kiyomi said.
"That's amazing." Danny said, causing Kiyomi to blush. "What do you want to be when you grow up?"
"Well, I want to become a doctor and work the right way to be a medical director, like my mother before me." Kiyomi said in response. "Also, my father wants me to take over his company when he retires."
"If you don't mind me asking, what company does your dad run?" Danny asks in curiosity.
"Own, actually."
"Own?" Danny rose an eyebrow.
"Mm-hm." Kiyomi nods. "My father owns the WatanabeTech Corporation, like my grandfather and great grandfather before him."
Danny's eyes widened in shock instantly as he asked in a nervous tone.
"Are you... related to Hanzo Watanabe?"
"Of course." Kiyomi simply said. "Hanzo Watanabe is my father, and Mirai Watanabe is my mother."
In light of this revelation, Danny went dry as his shock reached unimaginable levels. He honestly thought that he was just talking to a regular Japanese girl, but he never imagined that he would meet the only daughter of an extremely powerful and wealthy Japanese tycoon. The ghost boy slowly and nervously reached for his soda, only to accidentally spill the carbonated liquid onto the table.
"Oh, man!" Danny quickly panicked as he rushed to clean up the mess. "I'm so sorry."
As he cleaned the mess, Danny thought to himself.
"Nice move, Fenton! You've made yourself look like an idiot. Insults inbound in 3...2...1..."
But they never came. Instead, Kiyomi raised her hands in a calming manner as she said.
"Danny-san, it's okay. It's okay." she sees him look at her. "I understand that it's not every day that you meet a tycoon's daughter."
"You do?"
"Yes." Kiyomi said. "I can see that you're a genuine person. "
Danny rose an eyebrow as he continued to listen.
"You see, when I got to know you and vice-versa, you didn't know of my family or my wealth at first. Then, when I revealed them both to you, not once did you try to suck up to me."
Danny felt like things were falling into place as he asked in curiosity.
"You mean, you were testing me?"
"Yes." Kiyomi said. "You're the first boy I've met who genuinely wanted to get to know me. You've shown me that you want to befriend me for me, not for what I have. So, I can say that you passed with flying colors."
"Wow." Danny said. "I didn't know that you want to have real friends."
"Yes." Kiyomi said. "Money can bring out the worst in people and attract all kinds of blue-blooded, snobby vermin."
"I know that." Danny said that.
Suddenly, their order was ready as their number was called through the intercom.
"Allow me." Kiyomi offered as she stood up.
Danny watched her walk to the counter as he thought to himself.
"Wow. I can't believe she's a kind girl. For once, things are starting to go right."
Instantly, Danny's ghost sense went off as he groaned.
"You just had to go and jinx it!"
Suddenly, as Danny looked around to see which ghost was nearby, he heard an all-too-familar voice bellowing
"BEWARE!"
Danny narrowed his eyes in annoyance as he groaned.
"Damn! Not him again."
Soon, while Danny took cover to transform, all boxes began to glow and levitate before the Box Ghost arrived. However, for Kiyomi, it was the first time she saw this ghost that was clad in an outfit of a warehouse worker as he bellowed.
"I am the Box Ghost! I have come to claim..."
The Box Ghost paused as he saw a new girl who wasn't running in panic like everyone else was. She was just standing in place while staring in confusion before he approached her and bellowed.
"Beware!"
Kiyomi just rose an eyebrow, completely weirded out as the Box Ghost tried again to scare her.
"BEWARE!"
Again, it didn't do any good as the Japanese girl crossed her arms and asked with an unimpressed tone.
"How is it that I don't fear you, yet everyone else does?"
The Box Ghost was confused at the fact that she wasn't afraid of him at all. Suddenly, the ghost was blasted by a neon green energy blast.
"Hey! Don't you know it's rude to try and scare a lady?!"
Kiyomi sees a new ghost with white hair, neon green eyes, and a black and white jumpsuit. From the looks of it, she saw that he wasn't hostile as the Box Ghost rose up and glared at his assailant.
"Beware! For I, the Box Ghost, shall destroy you with...!"
However, the Box Ghost didn't finish as he and Danny Phantom heard someone shout.
"Hey!"
The two ghosts look to see Kiyomi glaring at the former with annoyance before she said.
"Shut. Up!"
As she said that, Kiyomi threw a napkin stand with deadly accuracy as if it were a kunai dagger. The projectile hits the Box Ghost as the ghost shouts in pain
"Ow! My eye!"
As the ghost kept his left eye covered, Danny took out the Fenton Thermos, aimed, and activated it, sucking in the screaming Box Ghost before sealing the cap.
"I appreciate the help, but I better get going."
"Wait!"
It was too late. Kiyomi was confused about the events that took place. However, the restaurant only suffered very minimal damage while hers and Danny's food remained completely intact. Soon, she heard a familiar voice.
"Kiyomi?"
Much to her relief, she sees Danny unharmed before hugging him, making the boy blush.
"It heartens me you're safe." she said. "What was that all about?"
"Well, ghosts do pop in now and again in Amity Park," Danny said with a shrug.
The two look at their lunch, which miraculously remained completely intact for a minute before Danny and Kiyomi glance at one another.
"Shall we?" Danny asks.
Kiyomi simply nods in response.
It was only a few hours after the two finished their lunch and were now approaching Amity Park Mall.
"I must admit, you were right. The food at that restaurant is quite edible." Kiyomi comments.
"I'm glad you liked it." Danny said in response.
It was the first time that Kiyomi saw the interior of the mall, as well as a few shops she had never seen before, such as Abyss, Mondo Toys, Sophia's, to name a few. Right when they were about to get on an escalator, Kiyomi's smartphone started ringing.
"Oh. Could you excuse me?" she checks who is calling. "My mother is calling me."
"Go ahead." Danny said.
The Japanese girl answered the phone as she said in her native language.
"Kon'nichiwa."
Soon, Kiyomi started talking in Japanese while Danny waited patiently for her. He didn't understand what she was saying, but he had a gut feeling that the girl was talking about him in a positive way, judging by her peaceful and welcoming tone. In a few minutes, Kiyomi ends the call before she says,
"Forgive me. My mother was just checking up on me."
"It's okay." Danny said in response with an understanding tone.
"She also reminded me that I need to return home before dark." Kiyomi comments.
"I guess we better enjoy the remaining amount of time before it runs out."
Danny's words caused Kiyomi to smile before she said.
"I think it's best if we do."
Kiyomi gently grabs a hold of Danny's hand as the boy noticed and blushed up a storm before the two went up the escalator to get to the second floor of the complex, just to spend the remainder of the time with one another.
The sun was beginning to set on the horizon as the teens were outside the mall.
"Well, I better be going home now." Kiyomi said.
"Is there any way I'll be able to see you again?" Danny asks.
"I believe there is a way." Kiyomi comments before she asks. "You never told me what school you attend, did you?"
Danny thinks back before he said in response.
"No. I don't believe I have. I go to Casper High. What school will you be going to?"
Kiyomi smiled before she said to him.
"How coincidental. I'll be attending Casper High as of Monday morning."
Danny's eyes widened in shock before he found his voice again.
"Wow. I guess we'll be seeing each other more often."
Kiyomi nods in response before she asks.
"May I see your cell phone?"
"Uh... sure." Danny said in confusion as he pulled out the device.
He watched Kiyomi tamper with it before pulling out her smartphone and tampering with it for a few seconds before she pockets her device and returns his phone to him.
"I must go now."
Kiyomi approached and kissed Danny on his cheek, which caught him off-guard as he was too stunned to say anything. Soon, Kiyomi looks into his eyes with a smile.
"I look forward to seeing you again, Danny-san."
As Danny watched her leave, he had a lovestruck smile while thinking.
"Wow! Kiyomi really is an impressive girl."
Truly, Danny never met a girl who was wealthy, yet genuinely kind to him. Mainly due to his experience in the past. To him, it was an extremely rare event to meet someone wealthy with a heart of gold. Then, he remembers his cell phone in hand. Upon opening it, Danny checks to see what Kiyomi has done to it. Suddenly, his curiosity changed into surprise as he saw Kiyomi's number added to his contacts. After he closed his device, Danny only had one reaction after he pockets his device in silence. He throws his fists into the air and shouts
"YES!"
He transforms after getting to a hiding place, turns invisible, and does airborne somersaults as he celebrates his turn of events that actually went right for once. It only lasted for a few minutes before Danny flew home, transformed to his human form, and entered Fenton Works, his home. When he passed by the kitchen to get to his room, his sister Jazz noticed a change in her brother's facial expression.
It was only after taking a shower that Danny secluded himself in his room. He was lying on his bed, staring at the ceiling while recent events of meeting Kiyomi replayed in his mind as he let out a loving sigh.
"When she popped the Box Ghost in the eye, DAMN, that was hot." Danny thought in silence.
Then, Jazz knocked on the door before entering the room as she noticed the expression before gaining a suspicious smirk.
"Okay, little brother." Jazz began as she placed her hands on her hips. "Spit it out because I know that look anywhere. Who's the girl?"
Danny merely glanced at the redhead as he asked in response.
"Does the name Kiyomi Watanabe ring any bells?"
It took a minute for Jazz to think on it before it suddenly dawned on her like being hit with a ton of bricks.
"Wait! You mean, Hanzo Watanabe's daughter?! How did you meet her?!"
"The very same. She just moved here, and we coincidentally met." Danny answered in sequence.
Jazz had a teasing smirk before she said.
"Play it right, and who knows, maybe she'll be your girlfriend."
"Jazz!" Danny whined.
"Let the records show, no denial." Jazz said in a teasing way.
After the redhead left, Danny was left alone as he secretly became fond of the idea of being in a real relationship with the Japanese girl he had recently met.
It was Monday. School was back in session after two days of freedom. The halls were buzzing with activity as the campus was about to have a new addition.
From the principal's office, Kiyomi, dressed in a long-sleeved navy blue shirt, a sleeveless short jacket that remained open, black jeans, and black mid calf boots, left the area with a paper that had her class schedule, locker number and combination in her hand. After getting directions to the library's location, she walks down the hallway before stopping to see commotion happening.
In said commotion, Dash and the other jocks were tormenting Mikey as Paulina just stood there, watching with a wicked smirk.
"Hey, come on!" Mikey begged. "Knock it off!"
"You didn't do her homework like you were supposed to." Dash states maliciously. "So, it's wedgie time."
The blonde jock gave a tight pull on Mikey's underwear, causing the nerd to scream in agonizing discomfort before being dropped as his glasses fell onto the floor while remaining completely intact. As they left while laughing at their victim's expense, they had no idea someone was watching them.
Kiyomi glared at them in disgust while slowly shaking her head in disapproval. What disgusted her even more was that a random teacher did nothing to discipline the bullies. Eventually, as Mikey was feeling for his glasses, the Japanese girl approached before picking them up.
"Here." she says as she hands them.
"Thanks." Mikey said as he put them on.
Once Mikey stood up, he gasped to see a pretty girl in front of him before she asked out of genuine concern.
"Are you injured?"
"It's a trap!" Mikey flees as he hollers. "It's a TRAP!"
The nerd returns to retrieve his backpack off the floor before he fled once again, screaming in terror as Kiyomi had a weirded out look at what she had just witnessed.
"You're welcome... I guess..."
With a shrug, Kiyomi just walked off to the library.
In another area of the hallway, Sam and Tucker caught up with Danny as the latter greets.
"Danny!"
"Hey, Tucker." Danny greets back. "How was your weekend?"
"It was cool." Sam said in response. "What about yours?"
"Well," Danny glanced away. "Other than ghost patrols, I've had a... pretty interesting weekend."
Tucker rose an eyebrow as he said
"Define interesting."
Before Danny could say anything, he saw someone else as did his friends. In Sam and Tucker's perspective, it was a new girl who opened her locker before placing her recently acquired textbooks into it. Applying the breath spray, he approaches her.
With Kiyomi, she just finished placing her textbooks into her locker before she paused, sensing someone new and nearby before turning to her right to see an African boy with glasses wearing a red beret, long-sleeved yellow shirt, green cargo pants and brown boots approaching her.
"Well, hello there."
The boy didn't realize the lace of his boot came untied and ended up punning it with his other foot.
"If I may ask..."
Lifting the wrong foot, the boy lost balance as he fell forward to the floor, face first, causing Kiyomi to cringe as she whispered.
"Ooh...!"
"Ow. My pride." Tucker bemoaned.
Then, Kiyomi sees a goth girl with short black hair with a top knot, violet eyes, and wearing a black choker and cropped tank top, a black skirt with a green crosshatch pattern, purple tights, and black biker boots with metallic soles, helping up the boy as she snarked.
"Smooth, Tucker. You flop before asking her name. Must be a new record."
"Is he alright?" she asks.
"Don't worry, he'll be fine." the goth said in response.
Suddenly, Danny walked up to her with a smile as he said.
"Kiyomi!"
The Japanese girl smiled back as she said.
"Danny-san!"
While the two shared a hug, Sam and Tucker were slack-jawed at what they were seeing, completely in the dark that their friend is familiar with this new girl.
"I didn't expect to see you again so soon." Danny said as they separate
"Well, I, for one, am happy to see you." Kiyomi comments.
Suddenly, they hear someone clearing their throat loudly to get their attention. They turn to see Sam and Tucker just staring at them blankly as the ghost boy sheepishly chuckled.
"Right, sorry." he gestures to Sam and Tucker. "Kiyomi, these are my best friends, Sam and Tucker." he turns to his friends. "Guys, this is Kiyomi."
"It's an honor to meet you two." Kiyomi said as she bowed.
"Honor's all mine." Tucker said
"Whatever." was all Sam casually said.
Soon, the warning bell rang as Danny and the others noticed before they bolted to class.
"Sorry, but I better get going." Danny said as he began taking off. "I hope to see you again."
"You too." Kiyomi called back as she finished organizing her locker.
As Sam and Tucker walk off, the latter noticed his friend's bizarre attitude as he asked in curiosity.
"Are you okay, Sam?"
"I'm fine." Sam fibbed through her teeth. "Just peachy."
As they entered the classroom, Sam kicks a nearby locker, leaving a dent and startling Tucker as the African boy said to himself.
"I'll take that as a no."
Eventually, Kiyomi closed the door of her locker before looking at her schedule to see which classroom is her homeroom and first period and where they were located. However, she didn't anticipate what was about to happen next.
In a classroom, Mr. Lancer entered as every student took their seat when the portly teacher arrived at his desk.
"Good morning, class." Mr. Lancer begins. "Today, we are having a new student who has arrived here all the way from Tokyo, Japan."
Just as the students were pondering who it could be, Danny was the only one who instantly knew Mr. Lancer was referring when Kiyomi started to enter the room. In an instant, almost all of the students gasped in shock, as the portly teacher said.
"Everyone, meet Kiyomi Watanabe."
Talk was amongst the students as the Japanese girl clearly heard from mostly the jocks and a few female students.
"No way! It's her!"
"That's Hanzo and Mirai Watanabe's daughter!"
"Damn! What a babe!"
"Major hottie, 12 o'clock!"
"Rich girl in the house!"
Sam frowned in annoyance as she grumbled.
"Oh great. Another spoiled brat to add to the A-Listers."
However, Kiyomi was annoyed as she grumbled in Japanese.
"Sore a ī. Koko ni kite shonichinanoni, sudeni hidoi nioi ga shite kimashita."
(Translation: Oh great. My first day here, and I'm already smelling suck-ups.)
Soon, Kiyomi sees Mr. Lancer looked at her as he said to her.
"Go ahead, Ms. Watanabe. Introduce yourself."
"Honestly, Lancer-sama, I don't think it's necessary since everybody here knows of my name and parentage." Kiyomi said in response.
Only Danny, Tucker, and Sam picked up the annoyed tone in her voice as the goth girl thought.
"She's a rich tycoon's daughter, and she's annoyed by the attention? That doesn't make any sense."
Mr. Lancer just waved his hand in a dismissive gesture as he said.
"Oh, don't be so modest."
Kiyomi rolled her eyes, completely annoyed that the teacher was sucking up to her, like most of the students were before she faced them, and decided to just be done with her introduction.
"Well, you're all aware of my name and my parents, so you saved me the trouble of giving you that info." Kiyomi said in a subtly annoyed tone. "As for how I got here, my father's company transferred to this city while my mother just got promoted to Medical Director and is now working at Amity Park Hospital." she puts her hands in her pockets. "That's how I ended up here."
Mr. Lancer stood up and asked.
"Now then, would anyone like to volunteer to give Ms. Watanabe a tour around the school?"
In an instant, every single boy in the class raised their hand, as did Tucker without hesitation as they all shouted, "Me." The female students glared at Kiyomi with jealousy for the attention she was receiving. Instead of basking in the attention, Kiyomi had an unnerved look as she took two steps back, feeling completely awkward that every boy, she didn't know, wanted to give her a tour.
She looks at Mr. Lancer and asks.
"Lancer-sama, mind if I choose someone to guide me?"
"Be my guest." Mr. Lancer said in obligation.
As Kiyomi looked around, she saw that the only boy who didn't raise his hand was Danny. While the ghost boy was silent, he subtly smiled at her, which caused her to return it to him, completely unnoticed by everyone else as the ghost boy subtly waved at her. Then, as he lowered his hand, Danny witnessed Kiyomi look at Mr. Lancer and said to him.
"I choose Danny Fenton to be my guide."
Her decision caused an instantaneous reaction as the boys, especially the jocks shout in outrage and envy.
"WHAT...?!"
"WHAT...?!" Sam shouts, completely pissed.
"Danny didn't even raise his hand!" Tucker shouts before crossing his arms with a pout.
"Class, settle down!" Mr. Lancer ordered before he turned to Kiyomi. "You really want Mr. Fenton to guide you?"
"Of course." Kiyomi said. "He's the first one I've met in this city and became familiar with." she placed her hands on her hips and glared at the teacher. "Is that a problem?"
Mr. Lancer was taken aback on her sudden change of attitude before he said.
"No. Not at all."
"Good." Kiyomi replied as her small smile returned.
Then, the poetly teacher looked around before he saw an empty desk right next to Danny's right side as he said to her.
"Take your seat next to Mr. Fenton."
"Thank you." the Japanese girl replied
Once Kiyomi took her seat next to Danny, he whispered to her in a very low tone where only the Japanese girl could hear him.
"Hey."
"Hi." Kiyomi whispered back.
While Kiyomi was busy retrieving items from her backpack, Danny subtly noticed almost ALL of the boys glaring at him with jealousy.
"This is not going to end well." Danny thought with worry.
With Sam, her glare was focused on Kiyomi as she gripped her pencil with so much force that the wooden writing utensil snapped.
Tucker saw that as he thought the same thing that Danny thought.
"This is not going to end well."
Soon, Mr. Lancer began his lecture. However, for Casper High, Kiyomi's arrival was only the beginning.
Well, I'm done with the first chapter. Stay tuned for part 2 of my revived story and see what will be in store.
The author sees Deadpool in the realm once more as he asks
"What now, Wade?"
"Dude, I was expecting a crossover of some sort, like with your other one." Deadpool said in response. "Hey, at least he ain't gonna be with Kim Possible since number boy approved their ship."
The author sighed in annoyance as he said
"Wade?"
"Yo!"
Guardian1989 quickdrew a tranq sidearm, as he said while firing a dart.
"Shut up."
The dart pierced the merc on the neck as he yelled out
"D'oh!"
After pulling out the dart, Deadpool gets woozy before dropping unconscious.
"For once. I don't have to activate my autogun." guardian1989 comments as he pulled a lever.
Deadpool falls into a moat once again in a looney tunes manner before a splash is heard and the trap doors shut. Then, the author clears his throat before speaking up.
"Just to give everyone the scoop, I had to use Google Translate for my OC's Japanese language. Nevertheless, it's time I revive my first story and make some improvements along the way. Don't forget to catch my crossover as well. Later days."
The author shuts off the light.
Don't forget to Read and Review.
