The New Girl, part 2

The author sighed in relief as he commented to himself.

"For once, the merc has not dropped by at all."

Suddenly, Deadpool entered the realm as he said.

"I'm here!!!!"

The author narrows his eyes in annoyance as he droned.

"I spoke too soon."

Deadpool frowns as he snapped.

"You! Why did you send me to the moon in your crossover?! I could've died in space."

"Don't care." guardian1989 simply said. "Plus, it was another author's suggestion that I found quite useful."

"Damn, man. You're harsh." Deadpool states

"You're insufferable." guardian1989 comments.

Suddenly, Deadpool tensed up as he felt something sharp pierce him as he yelled

"D'oh!"

After a moment of being woozy, the merc drops to the floor before the trapdoor opens, making Deadpool fall into a moat, hundreds of feet below in a looney tunes manner. As the doors shut, the author sees Yakko, Wakko, and Dot, as the former puts down the tranquilizer rifle.

"Thanks for that."

"Hey, you and number boy saved us from Baloney." Wakko said. "It's the least we could do."

"We love to stay, but we have other realms to visit." Dot said.

"Very well." guardian1989 said in response.

"Come on, sibs." Yakko comments. "Let's go."

When the Warners left, the author cleared his throat before speaking to the audience

"My apologies for the unintentional delay, readers.' he takes a seat. "Without any further delays, here's the second chapter. Enjoy."

First period just ended as the halls were buzzing with activity. By activity, meaning all of the students were walking the lockers, socializing with friends for a short amount of time, the usual norm. With a certain ghost boy, he was at his locker when he felt someone tap his shoulder.

Turning around, Danny sees Kiyomi right behind him. Her presence instantly brought a small smile on his face as he greets.

"Hey, Kiyomi."

"Greetings, Danny-san." Kiyomi greets back with a bow.

A thought crossed his mind as Danny asked.

"Mind if I see your class schedule?"

"Of course." Kiyomi said as she handed her class schedule to him.

Much to Danny's surprise, his new friend, whom he is secretly starting to become fond of, has the same classes as he did; all of them. As he handed it back to her, Danny comments.

"Wow. I guess I'll be showing you all of the school and where our classes are."

Kiyomi smiled with a chuckle before she said.

"Well then, when you're ready, lead the way."

After Danny closed his locker, he was about to lead Kiyomi to their second period class when the ghost boy was roughly pushed out of the way by a certain obnoxious blonde jock.

"Move aside, Fen-toenail!"

Kiyomi glared at the familiar blonde jock who tormented a student in the hallway when she first arrived. In an instant, Dash puts on his suave charm as he says in a smooth tone.

"Kon'nichiwa, babe. Dash Baxter. Star quarterback." Dash flexed his arms. "King of Casper High." he casts a flirtatious look towards Kiyomi. "Which brings me to my question, do you like quarterbacks?"

In response, Kiyomi quickly grabs a hold of Dash and slams his face into a locker with enough force to make a dent as the jock quickly cradled his face, more specifically, his nose in pain as he shouts.

"OW! Oh, my nose!"

Suddenly, Kiyomi sweep kicked the jock, knocking him off his feet before she grabbed him by the jacket, gave him a cold, emotionless look, and said to him in a warning tone.

"Stay away from me and Danny-san. The next time, I will do worse to you."

All the while, Danny watched in awe as he thought.

"Where has she been hiding all my life?"

Once she released Dash, Kiyomi helped up Danny as she asked in genuine concern.

"Are you injured?"

"I'm all right." Danny said in response. "Sorry you had to see that."

"You don't need to apologize on his behalf." Kiyomi said as she shot a cold glare at Dash.

"I guess we better get going before we're late." Danny suggests.

With a nod, Kiyomi gently links her arm around Danny's as he slightly blushed before he led her to their second period class.

Dash was at a loss for words as he stared at Danny walking with Kiyomi. It didn't make any sense. Usually, girls would be instantly charmed and would want to date him without hesitation or go for him. However, instead of being seduced, Kiyomi instantly attacked him and chose to stay with Danny. Why a rich girl would go for a loser like Fenton, the jock didn't know. All he knew was that he had a class to get to.

He wasn't the only one staring at the duo.

At a distance, Sam and Tucker were staring at the teens as well. While both of them were surprised that the Japanese girl subdued Dash effortlessly, the goth girl soon started to glare at them, mainly at Kiyomi, seeing that she was close to Danny; too close in her opinion. The techno geek saw her glare and asked her.

"Are you okay, Sam?"

Sam instantly glared at Tucker before she said in a sarcastic yet angry tone.

"Of course, I am. Why shouldn't I be? Look how happy Danny is with his new friend!"

Growling, Sam punched a locker door, leaving a large dent before storming off to class. Tucker glanced at it before he comments to himself.

"Damn. Déjà vu."

Yes, Tucker had never seen Sam so angry ever since the incident where Danny and Paulina were dating while the latter was possessed by Kitty. It appears that history has a way of repeating itself, despite that the incident transpired just a few days ago. Despite witnessing what Kiyomi did to Dash, which Tucker found amusing, he was worried that things between his best friend and the new girl could get ugly...real soon.

After time passed, it was fourth period as most of the students, including Danny and his friends, had P.E. as their class. Kiyomi was there too as she was doing push-ups, just as every other student was, under Ms. Tetslaff's watch. The Japanese girl was focused, despite the incident in the girls' locker room earlier.

Flashback: several minutes ago

Kiyomi had finished changing into her gym clothes that were issued to her by the P.E. staff when she first arrived at Casper High. After closing her locker, she noticed all of the girls were just staring at her in shock with their jaws dropped.

"What are you staring at?" she asks in annoyance.

Suddenly, one random girl demands.

"When the hell did you get curves?!"

Apparently, all of the girls in the locker room were in shock on how womanly, well-developed, and toned Kiyomi's physique was, in comparison to them. The Japanese girl simply ignored them as she left the locker room

End of flashback

As Kiyomi continued doing her push-ups, there were two jocks by the names of Eddie and Dale as the latter noticed and called

"Hey, cutie!"

Kiyomi looks at him as she hears Eddie speak up

"Take it easy and do some girl push-ups. The boys here like something...soft to hold on to."

Unamused with their flirtatious look, Kiyomi simply puts one arm behind her back and asked in annoyance.

"How's this for soft?"

Soon, the Japanese girl did one-armed push-ups as easily as she could it with both arms. The two jocks only had one word in response to what they were seeing.

"DAMN!!!!"

Eventually, Ms. Tetslaff had the students stop the push-ups before she barks.

"All right, listen up, maggots! Today, we'll be playing dodgeball! Boys vs. girls! Everyone get in your positions on the double!"

The students did what the gym teacher commanded. The boys were on one side of the basketball court while the girls were on the opposite side. Soon after the teacher planted a numerous amount of dodgeballs, the game began as the dodgeballs were flung across the court. Some of the students got hit, some caught the ball that was thrown at them, and others dodged them.

With Danny, he threw the ball at his target, which is best friend, Sam. Unfortunately, the goth girl caught it before she smirked and said.

"Nice try, Danny."

Suddenly, Dash pushed Danny out of the way before he caught the ball.

"Out of the way, Fen-turd!""

Kiyomi subtly glared at the blonde before she saw that a few balls were flying to her. The Japanese girl effortlessly evaded them, even bent backward to dodge another incoming ball, With the exception of Sam, all of the girls lost focus as they watched in awe on how flexible the new girl was when she evaded the balls. Their distraction was all it took for most of them to get hit as they were out. Soon, it was just Sam and Kiyomi on the girls' side while the jocks, Danny, and Tucker were on the boys' side.

The balls were tossed back and forth as each player in both teams tried to eliminate one another. Again, Dash shoves Danny, knocking him down to the floor.

"Move it, loser!"

Dash tossed the ball in hopes of hitting Sam. Fortunately for the goth, Kiyomi caught it, saving her from being eliminated.

"Uh... thanks." Sam said in surprise.

Kiyomi nodded in response before she directed her cold look at the blonde. Dash got cocky as the jock said in a taunting manner.

"Don't hurt yourself, cutie."

The Japanese girl threw the ball so fast and so hard that Dash didn't get a chance to get out of the way. Of course, mass times acceleration equals force. For the jock, he was about to learn that, the hard way. The ball struck him right in the crotch. Dash screams in pain as he places his hands between his legs, gets in a fetal position, and lies on his side. His eyes were twitching rapidly. The boys, including the other jocks covered their crotch with their hands as they groaned.

Danny saw Dash on the floor as he comments to himself.

"Nice shot."

Ms. Tetslaff approached in haste as she barked.

"Baxter! Are you all right?!"

Dash continues whimpering in agonizing pain from the impact of the ball colliding with that part of his body, unable to speak at all.

"On your feet and get to the nurse's office!" Ms. Tetslaff barked.

Dash struggled to get up before the gym teacher said.

"Someone help him."

A jock helped up the blonde and escorted him to the nurse's office. Ms. Tetslaff glanced at Kiyomi and said.

"Nice shot, Watanabe! Just aim a little higher next time!"

However, Kiyomi was satisfied with the results of Dash being in excruciating pain from that collision.

It was almost time for lunch. After closing his locker, Danny caught up with Kiyomi as he saw that the Japanese girl was waiting for him.

"So, ready to see where the cafeteria is?" Danny asks.

"Of course." Kiyomi said with a smile.

Suddenly, before the teens could even move, they heard an accented feminine voice.

"Kiyomi? Can I have a minute with you?"

They turned to see Paulina standing behind them before walking up to them

"There's a matter I wish to discuss." she noticed Danny next to her. "But without him around."

Kiyomi shot a cold look at Paulina before she said.

"Whatever discussion you wish to bring up, you can do so in Danny-san's presence, understand?"

While Paulina was confused on why a loser like Fenton should be near someone as rich and powerful as this Japanese girl, the Latina felt that it was the golden opportunity to humiliate him. She cooly played it off as she asked while getting out certain items.

"How would you like to join the A-Listers?"

Kiyomi rose an eyebrow as she asked in verification.

"A-Listers?"

"Yes. Only the coolest and most popular club at Casper High." Paulina shows the cool kid membership package in the form of several cards and a hall pass. "We invite those we feel are A-Lister material, and you would fit in really well. What do you say?"

Nearby, Sam was watching the event as she rolled her eyes and thought in annoyance.

"I knew she was going to join them sooner or later. And right in front of Danny, no less."

After looking at the package for a few seconds, Kiyomi looks at Paulina with a smile. However, no one knew that her smile was merely a fake one, as the Japanese girl said.

"And here is my counter offer."

Without warning, Kiyomi slaps the package out of Paulina's hand as the cards clatter all over the floor. While the Latina mewed in pain and rubbed the affected area, Danny was in shock to see that, as was Sam, and eventually Valerie, who saw that too.

"What was that for?" Paulina whined as she stopped rubbing her hand.

Kiyomi dropped her fake smile as she glared at Paulina hard and said to her.

"Do not treat me as a fool. I'm not naive as to why you would extend such an invitation as that. I can smell shallow parasitic vermin like you coming from a mile away."

Paulina looked like she was royally dissed while Danny's eyes widened in shock as were Sam and Valerie's.

"Oh no! You did not just call me shallow, did you?" Paulina asks with a glare.

Kiyomi was unfazed as she said in response.

"Yes, I did. And that's just the tip of the iceberg of what I really think of you as."

Then, Kiyomi began to speak in Japanese.

"Anata wa riko-tekide, sondaide, reikuko de, narushisuto de, atama ga karappo de, senpaku de, amayakasa rete sodatta meinuna nodesu!"

Sam was floored as her jaw dropped while she thought.

"Damn! I can't believe she said that!"

Paulina was confused as she said

"Um...what does that mean? I can't speak Chinese."

"First off, it's Japanese." Kiyomi correctly stated. "Since you can't understand it, I'll translate it so an idiot like you can understand it."

Then, the Japanese girl took a step forward as she hardened her glare.

"You are selfish, pompous, cold-hearted, narcissistic, empty-headed, shallow spoiled bitch!"

Paulina was appalled by that insult as Danny's jaw dropped like Valerie's did while the latter thought with impression.

"Damn! She's got quite a mouth on her!"

"I have no interest in joining your pathetic nonexistent club!" Kiyomi said. "So you can take your package and choke on it!"

As Kiyomi began to lead Danny away, Paulina snapped out of her shock before said, getting the Japanese girl's attention.

"Kiyomi!" Paulina sees Kiyomi stop and turn around slightly. "I'm the last person you want to mess with."

In response, Kiyomi smirked as she said.

"On the contrary, you are the first."

Paulina could only stare in anger for a minute before she gathered the package and then walked off to, presumably, her locker.

It was lunchtime in the cafeteria. Sam and Tucker were at their usual table as the former looked around while the latter was fiddling with his PDA.

"Where's Danny?" Sam asks to no one in particular. "He's usually here at this time."

"Uh, Sam?" Tucker said, getting his friends attention. "Remember that Danny is giving the new girl a tour?"

"Oh, right." Sam said in annoyance.

Then, Sam smiled, seeing her friend, but subtly frowned when she saw who was there with him. Soon, the two took their seats as Danny greets.

"Sam! Tuck!"

"Hey, man! Kiyomi." Tucker greets.

"Hey." was all Sam said as she thought in annoyance. "Who gave her permission to sit with us?"

It was then that Danny turned to Kiyomi and asked her.

"So, what do you think of Casper High?"

"It's different, I must admit." Kiyomi said in response before adding. "At the very least, nobody has to wear uniforms here."

"What? Really?" Tucker asks in shock.

"Mm-hm." Kiyomi nodded. "Back in Tokyo, every middle and high school has a standard of their students donning uniforms."

"Ah." Tucker said as he gained a perverted grin.

However, Sam stomped on his foot subtly as the African boy yelped.

"Ow!"

"Keep your hormones in check!" Sam scolds.

All the while, at a distance, Dash had an ice pack on his crotch as he stared at Danny with jealousy; jealousy that flared up that this beautiful, rich Japanese girl would be around a loser like Fenton and his friends instead of being around a real guy such as himself. He still couldn't comprehend why. With Paulina, it was different. She stared at the Japanese girl with hatred; hatred at the fact Kiyomi insulted her. Who was she to reject an invitation to the A-Listers?

Anyone who was invited to join would jump at the chance. However, Kiyomi didn't. It was obvious that due to her being the daughter of an extremely powerful and wealthy Japanese tycoon, Kiyomi automatically was worthy to join them, but not only did she reject the invite, she had the audacity to call them pathetic and nonexistent. Instead, she chose to be around losers such as Fenton and his friends.

Truly, Paulina had to find a way to make Kiyomi see things in the point of view of the A-Listers; a way that will certainly encourage her to join them.

Several hours passed, and now it was the end of the school day. Kiyomi was closing her locker door. However, when she was about to leave, she saw Sam in her path.

"Greetings, Sam." Kiyomi greets.

The goth girl merely crossed her arms as she glared at the Japanese girl and asked.

"What's your game, Kiyomi?"

Kiyomi rose an eyebrow as she asked.

"Pardon?"

"Why would a tycoon's daughter want to be around Danny?" Sam asks.

"Because I genuinely like him. What more do you want?" Kiyomi said, feeling offended as she placed her hands on her hips.

"I'm not convinced." Sam said. "Not one bit."

Kiyomi knew where this was heading as she asked.

"What have I done to draw your ire?"

"Simple. You're a wealthy girl, and those kinds of girls like you are always trouble deep down." Sam said in response.

Kiyomi merely narrowed her eyes as she said.

"Basically, your ire towards me is based on prejudice." she shook her head in disappointment. "In a similar fashion, my ire would be directed towards you because you are a goth, which is irrelevant and stupid, in my opinion."

Sam remained silent, refusing to admit that the Japanese girl did make a legitimate point. Soon, Kiyomi spoke up again.

"It matters not what you are. It's your character that rubs me the wrong way."

Suddenly, both girls hear a crash as Kiyomi sees the same ghost kid in black and white along with another ghost clad in striped pink pajamas.

"Get off me, Klemper!"

"But I just want to be your friend!"

Kiyomi turned to Sam and said to her.

"Hold that thought!"

Sam could only watch as the Japanese girl launched a jump kick, knocking Klemper off. The ghost sees Kiyomi as he asks.

"Will you be my friend?"

"You have a terrible, ineffective way of making friends." Kiyomi said in response.

Klemper inhales before he launched his ice breath at her. Kiyomi does a series of back flips as she cartwheels backward to get out of range. As she got in her ninja stance, Kiyomi heard the ghost boy say to her.

"Thanks for the help."

Kiyomi watched the kid pull out a sort of device that looked like a thermos before turning it on as it pulls in Klemper while the ghost bellowed

"Will no one be my friend?!"

Soon, the ghost kid approached her as he said.

"I appreciate what you did, but that was a bit reckless."

"Forgive me. I felt that you could use it." Kiyomi said.

For Danny, in order to cover his secret, he introduced himself as he said.

"I'm Danny Phantom. You?"

"I'm Kiyomi Watanabe." Kiyomi said in response as she bowed to him.

"I must get going now."

Again, before Kiyomi could reach him or even stop him, this Danny Phantom just disappeared after he fled the scene. Sam saw that she didn't know about Danny's secret, so it would remain under wraps, hopefully for a long time.

Eventually, Danny Fenton shows up, seeing both Sam and Kiyomi in the hallway.

"Kiyomi. Sam." Danny greets.

"Danny-san." Kiyomi greets back.

"Hey, Danny." Sam said, putting on a pleasant attitude.

"Danny-san." Kiyomi said in concern. "Is it frequent that these...ghost incidents happen?"

"Uh... yeah." Danny said in response with a shrug. "They happen everywhere in this city."

Deep down, Danny was worried that this Japanese girl may be on to his secret, more so on how she would react to it. Thankfully, luck was on his side, as Kiyomi said.

"Well, it heartens me that Phantom-san is able to keep them held in check."

Then, the three hear Paulina's voice.

"Of course. My ghost boy can knock those ghosts into next week!"

They turn to see the Latina, accompanied by Star. However, the Japanese girl was not happy to see them. She had a gut feeling why they were present as she asked in suspicion.

"Why are you here?"

Star raised her hands to attempt to calm the Japanese girl as she said.

"We're not here to pick a fight."

"Then speak your mind." Kiyomi said. "I do not wish to linger in your presence."

Star was a bit intimidated by Kiyomi, especially since she witnessed her putting Dash in excruciating pain during P.E. as Paulina spoke up while the blonde backed down.

"Well, I thought that you took some to reconsider about joining us and..." she noticed who was around Kiyomi. "Why are you around losers?"

Kiyomi rose an eyebrow as she asked, not liking Paulina's tone of voice.

"Losers?"

"Oh, you know, the nerds, geeks, and nobodies." Paulina casually said before she gazed at Danny and Sam critically. "Like Fenton and that goth geek."

With a roll of her eyes, Kiyomi fully turned around to face Paulina before she said.

"The way I see it, the real losers are those who take the leeway in their education," she glared at Paulina. "Including you."

The Latina was appalled more than when Kiyomi insulted before Star asks.

"But don't you get the nerds to do your homework?"

"No." Kiyomi said in a cold tone that made Star step back again. "Unlike you, I care about my future, and I am more than capable of doing my own homework."

Danny and Sam were stunned silent despite the latter being still skeptical about the Japanese girl.

"My answer remains the same. I have no interest in joining you pathetic, nonexistent A-Listers, and I never will be."

Soon, Kiyomi gently grasped Danny's hand as she led him to the exit. While Paulina and Star were appalled, Sam could only stare at the duo with a frown as she thought.

"I don't know what you're plotting, but I'll see who and what you really are."

With Danny and Kiyomi, they were walking down the street, away from Casper High as the ghost boy glanced at her and said.

"You know, I've never met anyone who would reject an invite to the A-Listers twice over. "

"There's a first time for everything." Kiyomi said in response.

Danny chuckled before he said.

"Still, that was an impressive shot you did to Dash back in P.E.

"Dash-teme had it coming, if you ask me." Kiyomi simply said in response.

The ghost boy was rather impressed. While Kiyomi was cold towards the A-Listers, especially showing hostility towards Dash, she was rather sweet and kind to him. Soon, Danny had a thought as he said to her.

"Well, since we're alone..." he scatched the back of his head nervously. "If you want, I can walk you home. How about it?"

Kiyomi smiled before she said to him.

"I'd like that. In fact, I'll show you where I live."

Eventually, the two teens began to walk. Kiyomi leads Danny past Silver Lane, Golden Block Road, and Platinum Street until they approach Rhodium Avenue. Once they took a turn, Danny saw that in Kiyomi's neighborhood, each house was a two-story house, and rather expensive. Finally, they reach their destination.

"We're here."

Danny's jaw dropped at the sight of Kiyomi's house. He honestly thought Sam's manor was huge, even Paulina's, but what he saw took it to a new level. It was more massive than either of them. It resembled a massive Japanese palace with an enormous front yard, despite that it was two stories high. The ghost boy couldn't help but wager that the backyard was just as huge as the front. In addition, Danny felt like he traveled 700 years back in time to feudal Japan.

"Wow. Talk about a time warp."

Kiyomi chuckled at Danny's comment before she said in response.

"Trust me, I thought the same thing when my family and I first moved in there."

The two walk up to the driveway before they stopped, as Danny said.

"I guess this is far I can go." he and Kiyomi face one another. "I'll see you at school tomorrow."

Kiyomi smiled at him before she pressed her lips on Danny's cheek for a second while making him blush before looking into his eyes.

"I look forward to that."

Danny could only watch Kiyomi walk towards the entrance. She takes a look back at him before entering her house and closing the door. The ghost boy lets out a loving sigh before he walks away to take cover when he leaves the neighborhood. After transforming, he turned invisible before flying back home. Once he approached Fenton Works, Danny took cover to transform back to his human form before entering his home.

With Kiyomi, she entered her room before placing her backpack next to her desk chair. She was lost in her thoughts as a certain boy with blue eyes made her smile fondly. Suddenly, she hears a knock on her bedroom door.

"Ohairikudasai."

(Translation: Come in.)

Soon, a man in a business suit entered. He had hazel eyes, black hair tied in a top knot, and a well-trimmed beard. He had a calm and welcoming presence, especially since Kiyomi herself instantly ran to hug him.

"Otōsan!"

(Translation: Dad)

"Kon'nichiwa, Kiyomi." her father said as he returned her hug before they separated. "Atarashī gakkō de no shonichi wa tanoshikattadesu ka?"

With a nod, Kiyomi said in response.

(Translation: Yes. It was quite... interesting.)

Before Kiyomi's father could speak further, both he and Kiyomi heard a woman calling out that she was home. Eventually, both father and daughter left the room to greet the woman who entered their home.

It was nighttime in Amity Park. While others were fast asleep or about to fall asleep, there was a certain goth girl in her bedroom of the manor she and her family live in, who was still awake as she lamented what transpired today at Casper High.

"This doesn't make any sense at all. Why would someone like her want to be with Danny?"

Yes, Sam was completely suspicious that Kiyomi was plotting something secretly and using her best friend as a means to accomplish it. Soon, the goth girl took a seat on her bed and pondered for a minute before she grabbed her laptop and opened it before typing.

"Perhaps I should look into her and see what I can find."

Ultimately, Sam decided to run a background check on Kiyomi to see if she could find something incriminating about her, believing that the Japanese girl was nothing but trouble. However, the online background check required the goth to wait for a few days until the documents she sought were fully ready. After closing her laptop, Sam thought to herself.

"That girl is trouble. I just know it. And I'm going to find out why."

And done. Stay tuned for the next chapter of my revived story to see what new changes will be made from my original one.

As guardian1989 started to clean up, a sound of the door bursting open was heard before the author saw a soaking wet Deadpool entering the area.

"Damn, man. You always make me miss every chapter!" The merc complains.

"Because the audience doesn't want an interruption from you." guardian1989 said in response.

"Seriously, when do I get to actually stay in the realm to view ANY chapter of your story?" Deadpool demands.

For his answer, the merc with a mouth felt a sharp pain on his leg as he yelped.

"Ow!"

Like always, Deadpool gets dizzy before falling unconscious. After being dropped, the author sees the Warner Brothers and Sister. Yakko was holding a tranquilizer rifle as he lowered it.

"Thanks."

"Don't mention it." Dot said in response.

"Just as long as you help number boy uphold his end of our deal." Yakko said as he set the rifle on a table.

"Always." guardian1989 replied.

Once the Warners zipped off, guardian1989 finished the clean-up before turning off the light.
