Chapter 9: Father Figures.
Papyrus and Asgore had met up together after making their rounds.
"Hey, Asgore, by any chance, have you seen any of those weird monsters recently?" Papyrus asked.
"No, it's actually been pretty low in activity lately." Asgore said.
"Say, is that kid you took in with you? I'd like to meet him." Papyrus asked.
"Fred? He was here a minute ago, but he said he had to go get something." Asgore said.
"You know, Jenny said the same thing, but she said Sans was helping her with it." Papyrus said.
At that moment, Fred and Jenny returned.
"We're back." Fred said.
"So, did you two get acquainted on the way?" Asgore asked.
"Yeah. We made these for you." Jenny said.
Papyrus and Asgore each took a card from them. The card had a little heartwarming drawing of Papyrus with Jenny and Asgore with Fred and they both read "Happy Father's Day!".
Asgore couldn't help but smile, "Thank you, Fred." he said, ruffling the boy's hair.
"You too, Jenny." Papyrus said, giving the girl a hug.
"You're welcome, Dad." the two kids said.
