"Fantastic. so now that we all finally came to an agreement tell us more about this supposed monster." Said the Doctor
"Ain't much to tell. It sleeps for 23 years and hunts for 23 days." Dean said.
"We haven't found out what it is yet, we just know it's similar to a bat and able to fly." Sam added.
"You don't even know what it looks like?" Rose asked.
"Nope." The Winchesters said in unison.
There discussion was cut short when a crackling noise emitted from the console, making the Doctor run over to it. "I'm picking up some sorta radio signal. Let me tune to its frequency a little more." It crackled a little more before an old timey song began playing.
"Now, I don't care what the weather man says When the weatherman says it's raining You'll never hear me complaining, I'm certain the sun will shine don't care how the weather vane points When the weather vane points to gloomy It's gotta be sunny to me, when your eyes look into mine" Sung the song.
"It's... jazz?" Sam said with confusion.
"This thing's got a working radio? Sweet! But what's with the old-timey music?" Dean asked.
"Jeepers Creepers, where'd ya get those peepers?" It continued.
"Jeepers Creepers, where'd ya get those eyes?"
"Gosh all git up, how'd they get so lit up?"
"Gosh all git up, how'd they get that size?"
"It's pretty creepy, but also a little catchy." Rose said.
"I dunno, this song hasn't been around since the 90's! The signals coming from somewhere outside." The Doctor said while scratching his almost bald head.
"Alright, let's see what's outside then." Dean said before turning and pushing open the white interior double doors and stepping out of the box, finding himself on the grassy country side road. The humid summer air blew against his skin and the brush. The rest of the group weren't far behind and they too exited the TARDIS.
Dean looked up and down the road from both sides before crossing his arms. "There's nothing out here but road and more road." He said.
"Where's this signal coming from, do you know Doctor?" Sam asked.
"It's coming from somewhere down there." The Timelord pointed down the road after scanning the air with his screwdriver.
They all eyed the road and saw a red sedan speeding down, concerningly they also also were screaming something and the group could see a large rusted truck chasing them down while blaring a loud semi truck like horn.
"That doesn't look good. Damn, see how fast the thing is going?" Dean said, pulling out his pistol along with Sam.
"How is that rusted piece of junk keeping up?" Sam said surprised.
"That 'rusted piece of junk' is a 1941 Chevy COE truck and blimey! It's going well over its designed speed limit, if I didn't know any better I'd say it's been supped up, probably with a 383 Chevy crate engine with a supercharger." Said the Doctor as he aimed his screwdriver at the truck.
"The hell do you know that?" Dean said in shock.
"Oh, I just know a thing or two about cars." Replied the Doctor with a smile.
"I swear he's like a walking encyclopedia." Rose said.
"They aren't slowing down guys." Sam said with a gulp.
"Oh son of a..." Dean trailed off as he hoisted his pistol and basically leaped inside the impala as fast as he physically could. "You ain't hitting my baby." Dean said as he put the keys init ignition and drove off the road allowing the old truck and car to pass by. "Get in! I'll chase em down." Dean shouted and Sam ran towards him.
"Oh no need for all that." The Doctor said as he aimed his screwdriver at the truck and clicked a button. Breeeeee* It emitted what Dean found was an annoying buzzing noise.
The trucks engines began to stall and it slowed to a stop allowing the red sedan to speed off unharmed. Inside the truck a man hugged in frustration as he tried to start his car but to no avail. He just watched his victims, no his food drive off into the distance.
"I gotta admit you never fail to impress Doctor." Rose said with a smile and was clearly impressed. "But I bet whoever that is isn't happy with you messing with his truck and all."
"I aim to please." The Doctor said cheerfully.
Sam and Deans eyes widened before they exited the Impala and walked back towards the Time Travelers.
"Okay, whatever you just did with that glowy stick was awesome." Dean said.
Sam scoffed in disbelief. "What is that device? And how the hell did you do that?" He questioned.
Before he could answer the trucks doors swung open loudly and aggressively. And a man wearing a Stetson and a black tattered trench coat jumped out the truck and landed with a loud thud as his boots hit the road.
As to be expected the Winchesters had their gun trained on the man's head while the Doctor slowly approached.
"Hello there." He greeted casually.
The man cocked his head at the Doctor, he was confused on why he was approaching him so calmly. He then sniffed loudly and made a grunting noise as he took a few steps back.
"I take it you realize I'm not a human then?" The Doctor questioned as he took a few cautious steps forward.
"Dean, look at that things hands." Sam said, pointing out its grey gargoyle liked clawed hands. It may have had its face covered with this hat but unfortunately it seems to have forgotten to put on some gloves or maybe just didn't care.
"Doc! Get away from that thing! It's dangerous!" Dean shouted.
"Don't worry he knows what he's doing." Rose reassured them.
"He's gonna get his ass killed is what's going to happen." Dean said with worry, he didn't want the magic man to die.
"Doctor, we have no idea what it's capable of be careful." Sam urged.
The Doctor turned around and gestured for the boys to put away their guns. "Those won't be necessary." He said.
The Creeper snorted in amusement, it then raised its hat revealing its horrendous features. It lacked lips and instead had visible razor sharp teeth, its eyes were brown and cold looking. Its skin was grey and bumpy and it appeared to have several claws wrapped around its face.
"That's it don't be shy." The Doctor said with a grin that infuriated the creature. He was more fascinated by this thing than scared of it.
Sam and Dean tightened their grips on their weapons knowing it's useless against this thing but wanting a sense of control. They weren't very phased by its appearance their use to it."
Rose wasn't as composed as them and gasped with a hand over her mouth. "W-what is that thing? I-its face is horrible looking." She said.
The Creeper then sniffed the air yet again and its eyes landed on Rose and it gave her a sadistic smile as it smelt her sweet, sweet fear.
"Rose behind us now!" Dean commanded and she obeyed.
The Doctors smile faltered and his face darkened before he spoke in a threatening voice. "Don't you dare even think of harming a single strand of her blond hair." He said with a loud authoritative voice causing the creature to look at him with sadistic amusement.
The creature heard his words and began fantasizing about doing some very inhuman things to Rose and the Doctor that was until he looked into the man's eyes, they were ancient just like his. No matter what what eyes the creeper had the moment he always had the same ancient gaze, and now it was being matched for the first time in all his life. His smile faltered and he backed away in fear. A very odd unsettling feeling for such a beast like him. He didn't know what the hell he was dealing with and he certainly wasn't about to make any hasty decisions.
The Winchesters felt unsettled by the creature's reaction. It was like it was scared, just from a few words.
"D-did he seem scared to you?" Sam asked in a whisper, but judging by how the Creeper gave him a death stare, it was apparent he heard him.
"First, yeah, he definitely heard you. Second, Rose, who the hell is this Doctor guy, really?" Dean said
As the creature backed away from the Doctor, its calculating gaze flickered between the Time Lord and the Winchesters, unsure of its next move. Sam and Dean kept their weapons trained on it, their expressions hardened with determination while Rose watched from behind them.
"What are you?" Sam demanded, his voice cutting through the tense silence.
The Creeper just stared...
"Sam, I don't think that thing is even capable of speech." Dean said.
The Doctor took a step closer, his tone calm yet commanding. "Don't mind them. We're not here to harm you, but we need to understand what you are and why you're here."
The Creeper smiled and decided to indulge them since it's the first time he's met something like this. It huffed before it walked right by the Doctor and opened up its trunk. "What are..." The Doctor trailed off as he saw him throw what looked like a body bag out of the truck.
The Doctor frowned, it looks like the Winchesters may have been right after all as unfortunate as that is.
Splat* It made a wet thud and the monster walked over to it before grabbing it by the neck and examining it.
The Doctor furrowed his brow in anger. "How dare you! That's a human being not something you can just throw around like nothing!" He said in a harsh tone.
The creature looked him in the eyes and chuckled, 'why does a being as old as him care about little sheep?' The Creeper thought as he stared at his piercing icy blue gaze.
For a moment they just stayed there, eyeing each other down. Until the creature scoffed and stared back at the body.
"What's it doing?" Rose asked in a shaky voice.
"Rose, I'd look away if I were you." Dean said gruffly.
"Yeah, trust us you're not gonna wanna see this." Sam added. They been in the business long enough to know what freaks liked to do to corpses.
"Oi, I'm not a little kid I can handle it." Rose retorted.
The Winchesters shrugged their shoulders and Dean spoke up. "Just don't say we didn't warn you."
The monster then ripped off the corpses head, revealing a young teenage girl once he took the top of the bag of her head.
"You're going to regret that, that much I promise." The Doctor said threateningly.
The Creeper stared at the leather clad man for a moment too long.
Rose was staring with wide eyes and her jaw hanging open. "W-what'd he do that for" She questioned with horror and Dean grimaced.
"I told you not to look." He said, surprised she didn't scream.
The creature then looked towards Rose and gave her a wink before it pried the heads mouth open and devoured its tongue while they watched. It then walked towards the Doctor and it spoke.
"How you plan on doing that?" It spoke in a raspy, ancient voice. It seemed to have taken the women's tongue as his own.
"I don't make promises lightly," the Doctor said, his voice unwavering. "You think you're some big bad monster, but I've faced creatures far worse than you. You took an innocent life, and you won't harm another while I'm here."
He glanced back at Sam, Dean, and Rose, then returned his gaze to the Creeper. "You have a choice. Leave this planet and vanish into the darkness you came from, or else. Or what happens next will be your own undoing." He said as he crossed his arms.
The Creeper listened carefully to his words and knew he wasn't bluffing, he's supposedly seen worse than even him. He was no fool, he wasn't going to provoke something that could potentially be a threat and so there was only one clear answer. "I'd like to see you try." It said before bat-like wings sprouted from its back. It then took flight a few feet off the ground and gazed at the people below.
"Oh typical." The Doctor said with an eye roll as he felt the powerful wind of its wings against his face. "Doesn't matter where you run, I'll find you and I'll stop you." He shouted.
"The things running away don't piss it off!" Dean shouted in annoyance. They had no idea how to kill it so they rather avoid a fight if possible for now.
The Creeper then flew under its truck and gripped it before flapping off into the distance with it.
"That wasn't like anything we've seen before. D-do you know much that truck must weigh? And for it to just pick it up like it's nothing and fly off..." Sam said.
"I-know Sammy, maybe dad's journal could help us but I doubt it." Dean said as he watched the figure disappear into the distance.
"The trucks around 4,200 to 6,200 pounds, whatever this is it's strong." The Doctor said.
"You're telling us. We've never seen anything that can lift like that let alone freaking fly." Dean said with a heavy sigh.
"Do you know what it might be Doctor?" Rose asked hopefully.
The Doctor seemed deep in thought and then he answered. "I haven't a clue."
"Great, I'll just look through the journal I guess." Dean said sarcastically as he walked towards his Impala and creaked open the doors before retrieving an old worn book.
"Let me know if you find anything." The Doctor said.
"Will do." Dean said as he flipped through the pages.
"So im guessing you'll do things our way now?" Sam asked.
"I won't be shooting anything if that's what you're wondering, monster or not. But like i said earlier you do what you have to. I gave him fair warning, whatever happens next is on him."
"You're not saying the supernatural could be real right? This thing is some sorta alien yeah?" Rose asked with a slight fearful voice.
"I'm telling you it's just as real as your magic box." Dean said with almost a chuckle. Although he couldn't blame them he was the same he only believed what he sees and if he were then he'd probably assume it's some rouge E-T. Sam chuckled at this.
"I dunno, my whole life I've believed in science and reason. But who knows, maybe just maybe monsters, myth, magic, actually exist. There's always a slight possibility not even I know everything after all." The Doctor said trying to keep an open mind.
Rose smiled and sighed as she shook her head. "Just recently I find out aliens and time travel are real and now I found out the supernatural might be too."
"Tell me about it," Sam said. "We've seen some weird stuff, but you two are on a whole other level."
"Yeah, it's like you guys came starting out of..." Dean trailed off as he remembered a certain movie and then he stared at the box. "Now that I think about it I watched this corny time travel flick as a kid and they also traveled in a phone booth, except it was red and not blue and lot skinnier." He said as he continued to skim through the book.
Sam scoffed. "I remember that. It was called Bill and Ted's excellent adventure I think."
"Fantastic film! Back in my younger days, one of my companions persuaded me to watch it. She insisted I'd love it, and you know what? She was right. The contraption they used bore a striking resemblance to a TARDIS, even had its own neat little vortex. Though, I must say, the cramped inside lacked the elegance of a proper TARDIS." the Doctor remarked, his tone tinged with nostalgia and a hint of critique.
"You're gonna have to show me that sometime!" Rose said with a grin.
"Hey guys enough movie talk I think I found something." Dean said urgently.
