"Hey, Russell!" Vinnie waved from the pet food machine. "Whoa, what are you wearing?"
Russell bore a smug look as he showed off his new pink tie. "Do you like it? I saw it in the pet shop and had to try it on."
Sunil looked up from his bowl, "It's very pink, Russell."
"I know; doesn't it look great!"
Vinnie and Sunil raised an eyebrow and looked at each other, confused.
"Uh, Russell." Vinnie stated, "You hate pink."
"I know, but it's Zoe's favorite color." The hedgehog smiled, completely besotted, as he played with the tie. "It reminded me of her."
The mongoose and gecko shared another look as the hedgehog left to find a certain spaniel.
"You know," Sunil nudged the reptile, "It's so strange to see Russell in love."
"I know! It's like he's completely topsy-turbo."
"Turvy."
"That's what I said."
