Toshinori's POV

After me and my family were finished being interrogated on why we didn't know my son's face I heard our door open, it must be Izuku! We all went to the door expecting a small skinny green haired child around 166cm (about 5'5) only to be met with a Tall 199cm (around 6'6) wall of muscle wearing a red button up shirt and gray dress pants with curly black hair covering most of his upper face! 'That's the man who helped me with the sludge villain!" I thought to myself. "Uh... hello?" He greeted.

Gai's POV

Oh man this is awkward... "Gai? What are you doing here?" I hear Izumi ask. "Ah I'm just grabbing Izuku's stuff to help him move to his apartment!" I said trying to think of a believable excuse. "Izumi you know this gentleman?" Inko asked her daughter. "Yeah he goes to my school." Izumi replied. "As a teacher?" Asked Toshinori. "As a student." Izumi corrected. They all froze and looked at me. 'Giant quirk.' Was their universal thought.

"Ah anyway I really need to get Izuku's stuff soooo..." I trailed off trying to get to my room. "Wait! Do you know where Izuku is right now!?" Shouted Inko. "N-no I'm just helping him get his stuff-"

"That's a lie." Everyone stopped and looked to were Tsukauchi was. "W-what?" I asked. "That's a lie." Tsukauchi said again. "My quirk allows me to detect if someone's lying, and that was a lie." Tsukauchi explained looking at me. "But the drawbacks are that if someone believes what they say is true then it won't activate or..." I was sweating bullets by now. "If someone tells a half truth." Tsukauchi finished looking me in the eyes and now everyone else was too.

"So Gai was it? You wanna try that again?" Tsukauchi asked me and I realized I couldn't get my way out of this one. "I... I'm Izuku.." I confessed.

Inko's POV

I couldn't believe it. My baby boy's all grown up and looks like he'd be at the age to have a child of his own! I walked up to him and put a hand on his cheek which I could barely reach. "When did you get so big?" I asked warmly but he moved his face away from my hand. "I've always been this big. You just never cared enough to notice Inko." He told me quietly but everyone heard. It hurt, it hurt to hear him call me that, not "mom" or "Mother" just... Inko. "I... I'm so sorry.. please, please.. forgive me..." I cried quietly while gripping his shirt.

"You're such an idiot Toshinori, never letting me see my grandson grow into such a fine man." Gran Torino said looking down while listening to Inko's continuous cries for forgiveness. Toshinori could only look unbelieving at Gai. This was his son? "Yes it's quite the disappointment to never see him once." Said Miss Nighteye pushing up her glasses to hide her face. All the while Tsukauchi could only watch in sad silence.

While all this is going on Izumi just stood there frozen. The gentle giant of her school, the same Gai both teachers and students enjoy the company of, the same Gai with more girls then she could count crushing on him.. that same Gai was her big brother!? He was always so nice to her! Always asking about how her day was and helping whenever she asked, that same guy was Izuku?!? "All right.. I gotta go." Stated Izuku.

Gai's POV

"Huh?" Muttered Inko looking up. "Go? Go where!?" Inko asked her grip on my shirt tightening. "To the apartment." I said simply. "I wasn't lying when I said I'm picking up my stuff to move out." I told her gently. "No, no don't leave please Izuku! Stay please!" She pleaded. "I'm sorry Inko but I have to go.." I told her while going through my room and putting everything in boxes.

Mini time skip.

I was putting all the boxes in the moving van when.. "Wait!" I turned around to see Toshinori running up to me. "Be quick Toshinori, I gotta finish packing these up." I said putting another box in the van. Toshinori halted at my choice of saying his given name but continued. "What would you say to having a quirk?" Toshinori said quickly. "No."

"Great because I can- I'm sorry did you say 'no'??" Toshinori started before stopping to make sure he heard right. "That's right. I don't want your quirk All Might." I said knocking on the moving van to let them know they can leave. "How-" Toshinori began. "I saw you telling Izumi about it, you should really be more careful about your surroundings." I interrupted as I watched Toshinori go pale. "So again, no I don't want your quirk All Might." I said before leaving him standing there, pale as a ghost.

A normal sized time skip this time

"Why did you say no?" A professional sounding voice asked effectively stopping me in my tracks to my new apartment. I turned around to see a woman with dark green hair that had yellow streaks tied up in a tight bun, her loose bangs along with her glasses framing her sharp but beautiful face quite well, she wore her signature white business suit and her iconic red tie with pink polka dots.

"Miss Nighteye, how can I help you?" I asked kindly. "Why did you say no to.." She stopped right before his name. "All Might?" I supplied. "I think it would be better for both of us if we didn't say his name." Nighteye said with a slightly irritated tone at the sound of his name. "Of course." I said simply.

"To answer your question as to why.. well why would I?" She looked at me confused so I continued. "It's just.. I don't need it. I'm far stronger then most people on their own, heck I wouldn't be surprised if I'm already stronger then most pros." I said casually.

"Rather arrogant of you no?" Nighteye asked me. "Maybe if someone who didn't train as hard as me said it. You see one of the most interesting things about being quirkless is that you look at things most people don't." Seeing that Nighteye was intrigued I continued. "The human body's limits of today are way different then those of the pre-quirked Era, the fastest man alive before quirks were a thing was Usain Boit with his top speed being 44.72km/h and that was the limit... for the pre-quirked Era that is, you see the evolution of humanity was way more then getting quirks. With way less training then him I can already run as fast as Usain Boit's top speed casually."

She nodded with her eyes widening in realization at what I'm implying.

"I already have better muscle fibers then most thanks to being his son, I'm basically way ahead of most pros." I said as I outstretched my arm and made a fist with my hand. "We may still call ourselves humans but we're way beyond them." And with that I finished my grand speech. "But enough of that." I said taking out a piece of paper with my number on it and gave it to her. "Thanks for taking the time to listen to my rambling, why don't I take you out for dinner sometime?" She looked surprised but definitely not opposed to the idea. And with that I'm off again.

At Gai's apartment

"All right the U.A entrance exam is 10 months away! Time to shift training into high gear!" I said to Maxi fully preparing myself to not eat any sweets for 10 whole months! Oh and the extra training too I guess.

One big ass time skip later

Here I am at U.A's front gates and I gotta say.. THIS PLACE IS HUGE! But before I can continue admiring the construction any longer a girl tripped over own foot. "Woah there!" I said catching her by the back of her jacket. "Careful it's bad luck to fall on a day li- Chako-chan?" I said startled at seeing the girl who I talked to on my breaks back at my construction job. "Gai is that you!? Wow I didn't know you were becoming a hero too!" Ochako said excitedly. "Yeah it's good to see a familiar face around here! Ah, But we have to go! Don't wanna be late!" I said picking her up and putting her under my arm (earning a squeak of surprise in the process) and ran inside.

Skip to the practical test because I said so

I was standing next Ochako and noticed she was getting nervous. "You good?" I asked. "Huh? Oh, yeah just a little nervous is all." She replied. "Well you don't have to worry, we're gonna ace this test then get mochi after!" I said promising her favorite sweet as a reward. "Let's do this!" Said Ochako all fired up at thought of getting some Mochi if she does well.

"ALL RIGHT GO!!!" Present Mic yelled as the gates started to open. I rushed towards city as fast as I can with Ochako following after me while the others look at us oddly. "WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! THERE ARE NO COUNT DOWNS IN A REAL BATTLE!" Present Mic yelled at the examines, causing everyone else to run after us.

In the examining room

"We got some interesting examines this year don't We?" Asked a silhouette. "Especially that stud in area B~." Said another in a seductive tone. "Not now Nemuri." Reprimanded a tired sounding voice. "That's right! Now's the time to see if our little examines got what it takes!" Said the smallest silhouette in the room while pressing a big red button.

With Gai

I've got about 60 points now I think that's enough, maybe I'll take a break and see how everyone's doing. Right on cue the ground started shaking. 'An earthquake?' I thought till a huge shadow loomed over me and the examines close by. I looked up to see a gigantic robot with a big white "0" on it's shoulder. 'That's the 0 pointer? Wonder how long it must have took to make it..' I don't think everyone was on the same wavelength as me because they all started running away. "Ow.." I heard a small voice and looked around to see.. Ochako!

Without a second thought I ran as fast as I can and too everyone else I looked like a blur. "Hey Chako-chan can you walk!?" I asked practically throwing the rock off her. "N-no I think my ankle is sprained." I nodded so I picked her up bridal style and ran away from the 0 pointer until a loud "TIMES UP!" Was heard and I gently laid Ochako on the ground waiting for a nurse.

What's this? Could it be? It is! Another time skip!

It's been an eventful two weeks with all the part times jobs, the celebrations with the Uraraka family, and a lovely dinner date with Miss Nighteye (I also found her real name was actually Mirai Sasaki) in a beautiful dress. But enough of that I found a letter from U.A! I quickly opened it to find a small metal disc? I placed it on the table and hologram of a white animal in a suit came out.

"Hello there Gai-kun! Am I a mouse? Am I a dog? Or am I a bear? Who knows! But what's important is that I'm Nezu, the principal of U.A!" Exclaimed the cheerful principal. "I am happy to announce that you passed! With 60 villain points and 60 hero points for a total of 120 points! But what are hero points you may ask? Well-" He then went on to explain that you gain hero points for saving someone during the exam. "And with all that wrapped up, I'd like to personally welcome you to your hero academia!"

To be continued.
