It's the first day of U.A. Me and Ochako are in our uniforms (which I couldn't get the blazer on, much to my chagrin) walking around the halls trying to find our class. "Wow this place is huge both inside and out." I thought aloud. "I bet it's normal size for you ey Gai? Hah get it? Because you're so huge!" Said Ochako with a smirk trying and failing to elbow my ribs... "Oh look there's the door!" Said Ochako running as fast she could with her face beet red at her corny joke. I walked up and opened the door only to be met with yelling.
"Get your feet off that desk! It's disrespectful to our seniors before us and the person who made it!" A blue haired boy with glasses reprimanded. "Like I care! Tell me four-eyes did your old school put a stick up your ass or were you born with it?" Yelled the ever angry Bakugo. "Such vulgar language! And my name's not four-eyes! It's Iida Tenya from Soumi Private Academy!" Iida replied shocked at how disrespectful Bakugo is to his peers. "An elite ey? I can't wait to tear you a new one!" Said Bakugo darkly. "Tear me a new- how horrible! Are so sure you're at the right school!?" Iida asked horrified before seeing me and Ochako standing at the door.
"Hello I am Iida Tenya it's very nice to meet you!" Said Iida walking up to us in a very robotic like manner. "It's very nice to meet you Robo-kun I'm Gai and this is Chako-chan!" I said shaking his hand while Ochako was trying very hard not to laugh at both my odd nickname for the strict classmate and Iida's baffled face at being called it.
"If you came here to make friends then this isn't the place for you." Said a tired voice from behind us. I turned around to see... a giant caterpillar! The caterpillar then became a tired human, nature sure is beautiful isn't it?
"My name is Aizawa Shota and I'll be your homeroom teacher for the next couple of years." Continued Aizawa-Sensei in his tired tone. He then gave us some gym uniforms. "Put these on and head outside I wanna test your quirks." He then took the notebook I gave him and wrote his signature.
Boys changing room
I started changing and realized that I couldn't zip up my gym shirt so all I could do is sigh in defeat. "Hey man what's wrong?" Asked a guy with red hair and sharp teeth. "It's nothing I just... can't zip up my jacket.." Everyone stopped to look at me. 'Giant quirk.' They thought in unison.
On the training field
Aizawa-Sensei told us that we were taking a quirk test to see if we had any potential as heros before giving me a ball and asking me to throw it. I walked up to the circle and prepared myself by taking a deep breath and relaxing all my muscles until...
*BOOM*
A loud pop was heard almost like a gun shot and the ball went flying until it finally hit the ground. Aizawa looked at his phone and showed it to us. "With this test you'll learn your limits first and here at U.A we'll teach you to refine them." Showing my score of... 931.5 meters!
Izumi's POV
I was starstruck, Onii-chan just scored 931.5 meters without a quirk! How did he do it!? Could he teach me?!?! I looked back at Onii-chan and saw him talking to a excited brown haired girl and a blue haired boy doing a weird chopping motion with his hand. I was gonna walk up to him until I heard. "Gerrr... Gai you bastard! You think you're better then me!?!"
Gai's POV
After throwing the ball I walked back to my friends silently noting that Toshinori was watching. 'Can you be anymore noticeable?' I thought catching his eye before he hurriedly looked away. "Wow Gai that was so cool!" Ochako said waving her arms in excitement. "Indeed it was quite the spectacle." Said Tenya while doing his robo-hands.
"Gerrr... Gai you bastard! You think you're better then me!?!" Yelled Bakugo coming at me with explosions popping out of his right hand, so making sure Toshinori was watching I quickly backhanded his outstretched arm making him release his explosion where it can't hurt anyone before grabbing him by the shoulders and lifting him up just enough to where his feet weren't touching the ground. "Ah, Bakugo! It's good see you again, always so fired up eh? But you should be more careful you can really hurt someone with those explosions of yours." I said looking him in the eyes making sure he got the message, and by the way he was sweating bullets I think he did.
Toshinori's POV
Holy crap! He just beat young Bakugo in seconds! And he made it look so effortless!
With the exception of that little squabble the rest of the test went off without a hitch. I'm quite happy to say that both my kids did quite well! Izumi's scores were good all around but Izuku's were so much better, it made me wonder how powerful he would have been if he had taken One for All...
Gai's POV
I was walking out of school with Ochako when we heard. "Wait a moment!" We both turned to see Iida running up to us. "Do you mind if I accompany you to the train station?" He asked. "Not at all!" I replied smiling though Ochako pouted with a little blush on her face.
A couple days time skip at Gai's apartment
"Would you like some tea?" I asked kindly. "That would be nice thank you." Replied Mirai while scratching the back of Maxi's ear. "So have they started your heroics class yet?" Mirai asked taking a sip of tea. "No they haven't, I think they what us to settle in first." I said taking a bite out of my biscuit.
"...he's gonna be teaching." Mirai said in a cold tone. I sighed and walked up to her spot on the floor before pulling her into a hug slowly rubbing her back. "W-what are you-" Mirai began. "You're too tense, and you only make it worse by thinking about him. You need to calm down, relax and enjoy our time together okay?" I asked warmly not getting a response I looked down and saw she was a blushing mess but nodded 'so warm.' Mirai thought resting her head on Gai's chest.
Big o' time skip
We're all waiting for the long-awaited heroics class and I was talking to Iida and Ochako. "Who do you think the teacher is gonna be?" Asked Ochako who was practically vibrating in her seat. "I heard it might be All Might and Lady Wavelink." Iida informed her as I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose. "What's wrong?" Ochako asked. "Nothing I just hope they know how to teach. They're pro heros not teachers." I explained as they both nodded. Just then loud footsteps were heard until..
"we are here!" Lady Wavelink began. "Coming through the door like normal people!" All Might finished as they came through the door not like normal people at all but the students were still ecstatic.
"In this class we'll be teaching you the fundamentals to becoming a hero!" Said All Might flexing his muscles. 'Explaining the meaning of a class that we already applied for? Yeah they have absolutely no idea what they're doing.' I thought as we got our suitcases and went to our respective changing rooms.
Time skiiippppp (Third person POV)
The students all walked out of the changing rooms and onto ground beta. "Woah nice costume Gai! Very professional looking! I wish I was more specific about mine, it's very tight." Uraraka said embarrassed.
"Ah thank you. It's to match my favorite hero." Gai replied calmly but before Ochako could ask who Toshinori spoke. "Looking good everybody!" All Might said with pride before looking at Gai. 'It's like looking at a second Nighteye!' He thought looking away while Lady Wavelink thought her son looked like quite the gentleman.
"Sensei! Will we be going against robots again?" Asked Iida in white armor. "Nope! Today we'll be doing the second step, indoor battles!" Replied Lady Wavelink. The students then bombarded the heros with questions before All Might exclaimed that he didn't have super hearing (which got a glare from a punk rock student).
"A-ah yes, a hero vs villains! The villains job is to protect a bomb for 15 minutes while the heros either take the bomb before times up or take down the villains with this!" Continued All Might reading from a paper while Lady Wavelink pulled out some capture tape. 'Ah Gai was right' thought both Iida and Uraraka while Gai told a sparkling student that he thought the boy's cape was quite fabulous (to which said boy only sparkled harder).
After drawing lots it was found that Gai and Uraraka would be a team while going against Iida and Bakugo.
With the hero team
After All Might announced that the heros were allowed to enter the heros started to enact faze one of their plan. "You ready Chako-chan?" Gai asked crouching to his knees while he outstretched his arm. "Yeah!" Said Uraraka putting her foot in the palm of his hand and placing her hand on his shoulder for balance, and with that Gai threw her over the building so she could land on the roof.
Nodding when he knew that Uraraka's landing was successful Gai decided to enter the building. The more Gai moved in the more he heard explosions until he had to dodge an explosion aimed at his head.
"There you are you damn giant! I've been meaning to fight you!" Bakugo roared before going for his signature right hook. It was obvious that the firecracker didn't know how to fight, his right hook is too far from the rest of his body leaving him wide open for faster opponents to exploit. Which is exactly what Gai did, moving quickly he ducked under Bakugo's arm and slammed his fist into the liver of the the explosive blonde effectively knocking him out.
Wrapping the capture tape around one of Bakugo's arms and removing his grenade gauntlets. 'Might be dangerous to leave him with these' thought the giant before putting a hand to his ear. "Did you find the bomb?" He stood there and nodded when he got the information and started to walk towards the floor Uraraka was located while making a backup plan for the new information he received.
In the observation room
1.A watched on in shock at how fast the walking time bomb was defeated. "Did you see how fast that was!?!" Shouted a student with large elbows. "That was very good technique." Said one student with a tail. "So manly!" Cried a student with red hair. The Yugi's were amazed at Gai's skill. 'He did it again!' Thought All Might before announcing that Bakugo was captured. 'Very good Izuku!' Lady Wavelink thought proudly. 'Onii-chan's amazing!' Izumi thought with stars in her eyes.
Back to the hero team
Beginning with the new faze two of the plan Gai walked up to the room Iida was in and appeared before the white armored teen. "Ah it appears that you've finally arrived hero!" Iida began with his villain persona. "Your reign of terror has ended villain! For justice has come to take you down!" Shouted Gai playing along. "Then let us do battle!" Replied Iida running at Gai only to stop when Gai tossed something from one of the pockets in his overcoat.
"Catch." Gai said simply before Iida swiped the object into his hand and began to inspect it. It was a small piece of black metal in the design of a pawn from chess, looking at the bottom revealed the words "Gotcha!" engraved with white lining. "Chako-chan." Gai called out.
"Pffff- yeah I got it." Said Uraraka still laughing at the ridiculous acting of both boys while pressing her fingertips together. Suddenly Iida's hand shot down forcing him to go down with it, looking around for what caused his sudden meeting with the floor he noticed that the pawn in his hand was still there and tried to move it... only to realize he couldn't. "Sorry about that Robo-kun but we wanted to win." Said Gai apologetically as Uraraka touched the bomb. "Hero team.. wiiiiiiinnnns!" Shouted All Might.
"Now who do you think is the MVP of this match?" Lady Wavelink asked the class. "Chako-chan." Said Gai aloud. "She was able to follow the plan to a T while also supplying me the information I needed to make a backup plan when Iida cleared the room of anything we could have used to our advantage." Gai finished proudly making Uraraka blush at the compliments. "Yes that is correct! Now to the second match!" All Might said while the next group of students moved to the battle area.
"Hey bro what was that thing you threw at Iida?" Asked a boy named Kirishima. "I would also like to know Gai as I couldn't lift it." Stated Iida. "I'd be more surprised if you did Robo-kun, it's a highly condensed alloy made to weigh 500kg (1102.311 pounds)." Replied Gai much to the shock of everyone in the room. "That's... so manly!" Said Kirishima crying manly tears.
