With Gai a few minutes earlier...
"Thirteen. Looks like a disaster relief hero... can't even come close to the most ordinary of heros when it comes to a fight.." The talking mist spoke preparing to use Thirteen's own quirk against her.
"Now!" Gai yelled tackling Thirteen to the ground while Uraraka used her quirk to send the mist into the air before it slowly vanished into thin air. "Sensei! Are you alright!?"
"Yes I'm fine, thank you." Thirteen replied taking Gai's hand to stand up. "Good because I'm gonna need you to watch over everyone here." Gai informed Thirteen and left before she could answer, it wasn't like she could have said anything as any argument died in her throat when she look at his back..
...His back was covered in blood, his overcoat and suit completely torn. Slowly Gai removed the top of his hero costume to reveal the skin of his back seemed to have been ripped off his body, the realization hit Thirteen like a truck. 'He... jumped in front of my quirk.. he protected me from my own quirk.'

Aizawa's been taking these villains- no thugs down for awhile now and they're slowly but surely wearing him down.
*wham!*
Aizawa turned to see Gai punching a mutant quirk user in the jaw. "Gai! What are you doing!?"
"Helping you out, you're fighting style is one on one with the advantage of surprise." He replied standing back to back with Aizawa. "I'll just take some of the load off ya'."
"I could have you punished for this you know that?"
"If the first mark on my record is because I was helping people then I'll take it." Said Gai sweeping one of the thugs off their feet and throwing them into the air for Aizawa to wrap-up and swing at the other thugs like a wrecking ball.
"Heh, fine kid you win." Aizawa smiled jumping over a thug's attack allowing Gai to sucker punch them in the face. "Just don't hit anything life threatening got it?"
Gai smiled just as wide and ducked under another thug's outstretched fist before swiftly popping it out of socket. "Got it."
"T-these guys are monsters!" Shouted one of the thugs while student and teacher quickly made work of this sorry excuse of a gang.
"Twenty-three, then twenty-four, then twenty?" The man covered in hands muttered beginning to run towards the duo. "Sensei.." Gai called. "Yeah that's him." Aizawa spoke using his wraps to rocket towards another thug to smash his knee into their solar plexus before dashing to the hand covered man. "The boss."
"That one was seventeen seconds." Said the leader to this so-called "league of villains" catching the cloth that was thrown at him and blocking Aizawa's elbow to his stomach. "It's kinda hard to see when you move around like that, but sometimes your hair falls in front of your eyes."
"Every time you land any given move your max duration gets lower and lower. Like using a Super Meter to make your combos stronger.." The teacher's elbow slowly began to disintegrate. "You're a real Rushdown aren't you?"
The teacher simply clicked his tongue before landing a heavy left hook to the blueberry haired villain's face and jumping away. "My elbow was disintegrating!"
"Your quirk... it's no good in long battles, huh? This is difficult from your usual, right? Like I said.. you're a Rushdown character." Spoke the leader slowly standing back up. "But you jumped in anyway... were you trying to make the brats feel safe? So cool, so cool. Oh and by the way, hero..."
"I'm not the final boss."

"That should be the last one." Gai thought aloud preforming an axe kick effectively slamming the last thug to the ground and knocking them unconscious. "Alright next-"
*SLAM*
*crack!*
Gai felt something smack into his side before he was sent flying.
"Shigaraki Tomura." Called the talking mist. "Kurogiri, is Thirteen dead?" Asked the now named Shigaraki while watching Gai slowly get back up. "Well no, some students I didn't warp away kept me from doing so... I also believe one of them escaped."
"...oh?"
Shigaraki began to scratch his neck furiously. "Kurogiri you... you'd be dust if you weren't our ticket out of here..." Slowly he moved his hands away from his neck. "We don't stand a chance against dozens of pros. It's game over, man... it's game over, for now."
"We're leaving... but before that."
Shigaraki rushed to the little watchers in the water. "Let's wound the pride of the Symbol of Peace!" He yelled reaching his hand out to grab the face of some frog-faced studen-
*crack!*
"Agh!" Shigaraki howled looking down at his hand to reveal two of his fingers completely ripped off and the rest being broken. The disintegrater looked around to find the source of his new found finger removement only to find a black pawn with the words "look out!" Engraved in white on the bottom.
"Hey..."
Shigaraki slowly turned towards the voice to see a tall shirtless man holding onto his side. "Miss me?"
"Nomu!" Shigaraki shrieked for the odd bird creature to rush towards Gai, quickly Gai began to throw all but two of his metal pawns acknowledging that they didn't do much, only bouncing off it's skin. "Hmmm."
"Don't you get it!? The Nomu has 'Shock Absorption'! It was made to beat All Might!"
That's a pretty neat quir- oh shoot!" Gai exclaimed jumping out the way of the Nomu's attack. "Made to beat Toshinori ey? So it's not human or at least not anymore, that's... dangerous."
"Grrrr.. this random encounter is really pissing me off, Kurogiri get this over with." Said mist started expanding and shooting towards the lone student, only to be shot away with one of those annoying metal pawns! "Damnit, damnit, damnit! Do I have to do everything myself?" Asked a rather irritated Shigaraki running at the object of his indignatio-
"FEAR NOT... I AM HERE."
"Oh come on!" Shigaraki yelled in frustration as All Might tackled the Nomu into the ground.
"Toshinori, this Nomu thing isn't human and it's quirk is 'Shock Absorption', in short: go for the head." Gai called out quickly while keeping Kurogiri from intruding. "MANY THANKS MY BOY!" All Might replied ducking under one of the Nomu's punches and preforming a multitude of heavy blows to the head eliminating the threat almost entirely.
With Gai (Gai's POV)
After Bakugo took over the duty of villain-sitting that Kurogiri guy I walked over to Aizawa-Sensei.
"Sensei can you stand?" I Asked helping my insomniac teacher to his feet. "Of course I can, you gotta be pretty sturdy to live in the pro hero world."
'Most would call that "too stubborn to die" Sensei.'
"Perfect I need you to look at the Nomu with your quirk." Sensei didn't need telling twice using his quirk while Toshinori beat it down ending the ultimate weapon against heros fairly quickly.
"You.. you cheated! You're weak? No, you're stronger than ever! D-did Master lie to me?.." Shigaraki shrieked before mumbling to himself.
"Well? Coming to get me?? What happened to clearing the game..?" Toshinori call out to him.
"If you can take me, then bring it on!" Toshinori yelled puffing out his chest.
"Grrrrr..."
"Shigaraki Tomura.. we must leave your hand is seriously injured and-"
*BANG*
*BANG*
"AGHH DAMNIT!" Shigaraki howled once again after being shot in the legs.. can't catch a break huh?
"Sorry everyone we're a little late.. we brought everyone we could."
"Tenya Iida of class 1-A! Reporting for duty!!" Iida shouted with a large amount of pro heros!
"It's game over... let's go- gah!" Continued Shigaraki before a multitude of bullets rained down on him, immediately Kurogiri's mist started covering Shigaraki and they vanished.
"So it's over.. we won... great." I said before everything went black.

Slowly I opened my eyes to see a white ceiling, no, this is the medical wing.. man I haven't been in one of these in what? Ten years? That brings back memories.. I slowly get up to only to feel some weight on my legs, I look down and see Sasaki resting. "Sasaki.."
"That was very reckless you know." She spoke still resting on my legs. "Yeah I know.." I replied weakly.
"And stupid." She continued.
"I know."
"You're lucky you lived.." She said gripping my pant leg.
"I know."
"I was worried sick..." her voice was getting weaker and weaker.
"I know."
"I love you so, so, so much..."
"I know."
"And don't you forget it." Sasaki finished sounding way more tired then before.
"Say speaking of love.. will you make me miso soup everyday?" She looked up at me confused before finally catching on. "Pff.. you and your stupid pre-quirk references.." She laughed with a sizeable blush on her face. "Of course I will, don't expect it to taste great though."
"I'll make it and you can just sit back and enjoy." I said chuckling and she nodded with a warm smile. "That'd be nice."
"'Mirai Gai' huh? It's got a nice ring to it doesn't it?"
"Quite literally." Sasaki snorted causing me to laugh.
