(Marty's Accident)
*I've never seen anyone write any fanfiction about this so I decided to take a spin on this. I also just had the accident and Biff showing the matchbooks take place on the same day since I believe no time passed at all for 1985*
*I do NOT own Back to the Future, its characters, and anything related to it. All Rights, credits, and ownership go to Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale.
*October 26th, 1985*
Marty opened the garage door in his home, and there stood the 1985 Toyota SR5 Cab.
The truck that he dreamed of himself and Jennifer in. Soon after Marty walked closer to his prized possession before banging his fist on the door as he got closer to the vehicle.
"How about a ride mister?" A voice called out to him, and it was nobody else than Jennifer, his girlfriend.
This action caught Marty's attention as he turned around to walk closer to his girlfriend.
"Jennifer…ooh man. You're a sight for sore eyes. I mean look at you.." Marty responded before gently touching the shoulders of his girlfriend as the couple locked eyes with each other.
Marty was more relieved mixed with surprise since he hadn't seen his girlfriend for a week.
"Marty you're acting like you've haven't seen me in a week.." Jennifer responded in a confused voice while Marty gently continued to rub her shoulder.
"I haven't.." Marty simply responded while this was met with Jennifer gently placing her hands on his shoulders.
"Are you okay? Is everything alright?" Jennifer responded with a smile but with concern, while gently stroking his hair with her left hand.
After this, Marty turned around to see his parents smiling at him and Jennifer before going back further into their house.
Now of course, Lorraine didn't approve of her son seeing Jennifer while George didn't have much to say in the original timeline; however, things are different in this new timeline.
"Oh yeah, everything's great." Marty responded to Jennifer with a smile and this made her smile back.
After this, Marty and Jennifer kissed each other softly on the lips and this seemed to strengthen their relationship.
"Say, let's take the truck for a spin and head over to the lake." Marty suggested with his usual smile while Jennifer happily followed along.
"Whatever you say, tiger." Jennifer responded with a hint of playfulness in her voice as she quickly hopped in the vehicle.
Seeing this, Marty smiled before walking to his truck; however, a familiar voice called his name…it was nobody else but, Biff. Now of course was working for George and more of a "nice" guy
"M-Marty! M-Marty! I wanted to show you these new matchbooks for my auto detailing that I had printed up." Biff spoke to Marty in a rather excited voice as he quickly caught up to Marty.
Of course, the young teenager didn't want to waste any time on whatever Biff had to say, but he couldn't turn him down.
"Um..sure, what you got to show me, Biff.." Marty responded while getting close to see his matchbooks.
"Don't those matchbooks look great or what? I hope I'm not wasting your time or anything, I just wanted to show you these matchbooks, see?" Biff responded once more while showing the teenager the matchbooks.
Marty observed the matchbooks nodding in approval as he congratulated Biff.
"Good stuff. You could make a fortune with these." Marty responded in a rather interested voice while Biff nodded in agreement.
"Thank you, Marty, and just look at these matchbooks, wonderful, right?" Biff responded once more while he continued to show the matchbooks to Marty.
"G-Good stuff. Nice little business you have." Marty responded once more while Biff nodded.
"Right?! And that's all I had to show you, have fun with your new truck!" Biff responded before walking over to open the truck for Marty.
"Thanks, Biff.." Marty responded while he entered the truck with Biff closing the door behind him.
Soon after, Marty started the truck and he and Jennifer were off to take the truck for a spin, and during this, Biff stood there with his fake innocent smile.
"That kid…why does he…" Biff thought to himself before shrugging it off as he went back to washing George's car.
*Hilldale*
After a few minutes of driving, Marty and Jennifer stopped by the Hilldale neighborhood.
"Say, Jennifer, imagine if we lived there when we grew up…before becoming rock stars of course." Marty spoke to Jennifer with a small chuckle while Jennifer smiled back.
"Really? I heard this neighborhood can get pretty bad but maybe in thirty years it will improve."Jennifer responded while the couple shared another smile.
Sadly, this moment would be interrupted by a red pickup truck arriving next to Marty's truck, and It was nobody else than Needles. Needles and his gang were blasting Power of Love from the radio and Needles was more than happy to see Marty.
"Hey! It's the big M. How's it hanging Mcfly?" Needles greeted Marty with a sneaky smile much to the annoyance of Marty and Jennifer.
"Hey, Needles." Marty greeted back with annoyance in his voice while Needles and his goons checked out the truck.
"Nice set of wheels." Needles complimented while the other bullies began to speak out.
"Let's see what she can do, next green light.." One of the Bullies spoke out while Marty declined.
"No thanks." Marty responded in hopes of Needles leaving him and his girlfriend alone; however, that wasn't the case.
"What's wrong, chicken?" Needles responded in a mocking tone of voice before he and his goons mocked Marty with chicken noises.
Of course, Marty didn't like to be called chicken and often tried to prove otherwise which sadly got him into some heavy situations.
Soon after, Marty shifted into gear, ready to race Needles to prove his worth.
"Marty, don't! Don't listen to that idiot." Jennifer warned Marty with a concerned look on her face; however, Marty wasn't listening.
"Grab onto something.." Marty warned Jennifer before officially starting his engine.
Of course, this event pleased Needles and his gang as they were quite excited by this event.
The two engines of steel were ready to go and tensions were high.
"Marty! You don't have to do this! What would the Doc say? Please listen to me!" Jennifer pleaded with Marty but sadly, Marty didn't listen, he was determined to prove himself that he wasn't chicken.
Soon after, the traffic light switched to green thus kicking off the race.
The two trucks immediately dashed forward as the trucks were neck to neck.
"I'll show them I'm not chicken…" Marty thought to himself while he continued to put his foot to the medal in hopes of getting ahead of Needles.
The race seemed to heat up; however, a white Rolls-Royce was coming around at a corner.
"MARTY LOOK OUT!" Jennifer screamed in horror as she saw the speed vehicle in which she was approaching the white vehicle.
Time seemed to slow down for Marty and Jennifer at that exact moment, and sadly, Marty's new truck crashed into the Rolls-Royce.
Everything after was a blur, Marty could hear Jennifer screaming his name, shaking him before darting his eyes over to see a man losing his absolute mind over his car being totaled.
"O-Oh no…" Marty thought to himself while he saw Jennifer getting out of the car, searching for help.
"P-Please call an ambulance! My boyfriend and I were in an accident!" Jennifer pleaded to the neighbors watching as they heard the loud crash which caused them to come out to see the ruckus.
The man who owned the Rolls-Royce was named Durwood Bennington and he was a business executive.
"What the hell!? You teenagers wrecked my car?!" Durwood cried out to Jennifer while the young girl apologized.
"We're so sorry, we don't mean to!" Jennifer apologized to the man while all of this could be heard by Marty.
"D-Did we get into an accident…this is heavy.." Marty thought to himself before falling unconscious due to his mild concussion.
*Hospital*
Sometime after, Marty woke up in the hospital bed, and there, Jennifer was by his side.
"Marty, you're okay! I'm so happy.." Jennifer spoke to Marty in a happy voice before gently hugging him.
"W-What happened, are you okay.." Marty asked in a dazed voice before looking down to see bandages on his hand, and soon, it was clicking on...
"Oh no…Jennifer?! Did we get into an accident…no..no…" Marty uttered in guilt and shock while Jennifer nodded.
"W-We did…the man was angry, He's threatening to press charges against you. It's really bad but don't worry, your family is going to be here soon, they'll talk more about this.." Jennifer responded in a sad voice before looking down, not wanting to tell Marty the other bad news.
"This is heavy. I-I don't know what to say…" Marty uttered as the guilt slowly crept up while he gently rubbed his head to ease the pain.
"Also, the nurse spoke to me, and..it's about your hand injury.." Jennifer explained to Marty as the news sent a wave of shock running through the kid.
"W-What do you mean, Jennifer, what about my hand.." Marty responded while staring at his injured hand. Jennifer sighed before preparing to tell her boyfriend the news.
"Y-You won't be able to play the guitar….forever. The injuries on your hand made it impossible…" Jennifer explained to Marty once more as the news crushed Marty.
"This. T-This can't be…" Marty uttered as he felt Jennifer gently hugging him.
The couple could only embrace each other gently as Marty thought about his mistake.
Perhaps he should have ignored Needles entirely and maybe they would have been happier, but that event is probably in some alternate timeline, heck! Probably another adventure or two with the Doc could have changed things…
*October 21st, 2015*
Thirty years have passed since the event as Doc had learned everything about Marty and the fates of the children of his friend.
"Great Scott! I must warn Marty and Jennifer!" Doc cried out in his usually eccentric manner before quickly running outside to hop in the DeLorean.
During this, Doc thought about telling Marty about the Rolls-Royce incident; however, he decided not to.
"I'm sorry Marty, that particular event must be a lesson you must face on your own.." Doc spoke to himself before setting the date to October 26th, 1985.
Soon after, Doc flew the DeLorean from the Hill Valley neighborhood to Lyon Parklands which was formerly Lyon Estates.
Doc flew the DeLorean to the ground, drove up to 88 MPH, and sent himself back to the past.
