Chapter 2: Crash Landing
Anakin Skywalker flew around and shot down any of the droid fighters that stood in his way, but one of the fighters fired a missile at the Jedi. A missile that, when he destroyed it with a well-aimed shot, immediately revealed itself to be a load of buzz droids. "Oh no, not those beasts."
Anakin cursed when he noticed that they had attached themselves to the lower part of the ship.
They drilled into the fighter from the outside and Anakin had considerable difficulty bringing the fighter under control when the engine exploded and he only heard the distress signal and the nervous beeping of R2-D2 before he fainted.
Ahsoka sensed in the Force that her master needed help and decided to search for him within the fray.
When she saw the yellow starfighter she was frightened and radioed R2-D2, who beeped nervously and desperately tried to bring the ship under control.
"Can you land the ship R2?"
But before she realized it, a gigantic storm had broken out in the flatland towards which Anakin's hunter was heading.
The bright storm obscured her view of Anakin's hunters before a bang alerted her. Anakin's fighter had rammed its rear engines and they exploded. She had to go down and sail through the storm. "So R7 we have no choice but to go down. The storm will keep us in the air for some time but not for long," Ahsoka said. Then R7 just let out a nervous beep and Ahsoka was startled once again. "Oh no, we're heading straight for the planet. R7...", but before she could finish her sentence, her red starfighter rammed itself into the ground of the crystal planet.
Ahsoka woke up unharmed in her destroyed fighter and with a Force push opened the cockpit, jumped out of her damaged ship and saw R7 next to the ship. R2-D2 followed him. She knew what that meant. Anakin's fighter crash-landed, as did her own fighter. She ran to Anakin's fighter, opened the cockpit of the destroyed ship and used the Force to carry Anakin out of the cockpit. She freed her master just in time.
Before Anakin's ship burst into flames. She tried to reach Admiral Yularen or her squadron via comlink. But the storm and the droid fighters prevented their signal from being transmitted. Anakin, meanwhile, opened his eyes again. "Hello Snips," he said and picked himself up from the white crystalline floor. The whole planet seemed to be a single bright crystal, this world was as bright and shiny as any it had ever seen.
"Wait a minute Snips... didn't I fly? Where's my fighter?" "It exploded, master. I saved you."
"Have you contacted Admiral Yularen yet?"
"Now the storm and the droid fighters are interfering with our signals. I can't reach anyone at the moment."
"Very well. Let's wait for the storm to end. Let's find shelter so that Admiral Yularen can find us and we won't be surprised by the storm again."
"As you say, Master"
As for you Snips... Good job Snips, you did everything right. Now let's make sure that people find us."
